On my PC I clicked "Set Up Sync" and then "I Have an Account" ans it asks to enter the code on my other device. So I went onto my Android Samsung Galaxy Nexus and opened Firefox.

Went to the home screen and there is not Sync button. Only; Top sites, Your tabs from last time, Add-ons for your Firefox, and Synced Tabs.

Going to More -> Settings -> Sync -> Account with Firefox Sync. It only shows an option to not sync and says when it last synced. The more only shows; Sync now, remove account and help.

Where do I enter the code on my Android so I can set up Firefox Sync on my PC?

Firefox opens a new window rather then tab from any other process calling firefox. Example screen grab utility needs to load a new url. FF opens a new instance of firefox. It use to open a new tab.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy SIII. Firefox does not show the menu bar along the bottom of the screen even after hitting the hardware menu key in the bottom left so I have no Home button etc.

How do I make firefox emulate internet explorer. In firefox, in some websites, such as chase.com, the size of the lettering is all messed up. Also, firefox's printing output in some websites is in funny numbers and letters. Very frustrating.

This app market has taken over my home page. I went to control panel and deleted it there but it has not gone away. Avast is what put it there and I got rid of that trouble thing. any help will be grateful.

I just switched from iOS to Android, mostly for the screen size. I miss the READER ability that Safari had on the iphone. I was happy to learn that it was now built into Firefox for Android. But it is too small to use easily. When I try to select the icon I usually miss and trigger something else.

Is there a way to make the icon larger or put it somewhere else, or maybe program a swipe gesture to activate the reader function?

4 weeks ago I installed a new WXP (2002) program/system. I then moved my browser to Firefox/Mozilla. When asked to input data for Outlook Express (in the service pack 2 for WXP) I gave them the wrong settings for pop & smtp input and output. How can I correct these settings to make Outlook Express useful?

My bookmarks keep going into that unsorted bookmarks folder, where they are not easily accessed. I watched the getting started video several times, and I want to save bookmarks without sorting them. The tabs thing is too complicated right now. I just want a bookmarks folder that will save what I put into it. But if I click on the star in the awesome bar, the link goes right into that nasty unsorted bookmarks folder.

Every time i get an update, download it and restart Firefox, it does not restart and i have to run the set file again. It means too that the updates have not been dowl=nloaded ! Windows 7 ultimate. 4Gb ram 1 Tb Regards

I asked before and got no answer so I am trying again. This occurs with any version i have downloaded above ver. 14.1. Every time i start up Firefox before the browser window opens there is a popup box that says it is checking the compatibility of my addons. I am not a fan of tabbed browsing so i use multiple windows. Any time I open Firefox the compatibility checker runs. I can not figure out how to prevent this from running. I am able to keep it off my system as long as I do not upgrade above version 14.1. The result is I have had to set Updates to never check to avoidbeing bombarded multiple times a day by Mozilla with the message that updates/upgrades for Firefox are available.

I have tried everything I can think of to download a higher version and not to have this feature, including doing custom installs and unchecking the maint. service box. But no matter what I have tried the popup addon checker is still there. Since I do not allow any programs or sites to update automatically, except for security software, I am not willing to update beyond 14.1 until I can prevent the addon checker from running without permission.

Is there any way to disable this function in versions above 14.1?

Seems as though there is some difference of opinion about Firefox's compatibility with working with the Apple IPhone 4S or any Apple Smartphone is that true? Has Mozilla/Firefox built a browser that works with the Apple Operating System? I currently am using The Mercury Browser, is that browser Firefox? The google search and google gmail icons on my desktop keep changing between the Firefox globe with the fox around it to the google white G with the blue background. Everything works just fine either way but I would like to know what is causing this and be able to decide for myself which ones to use.
