Firefox suddenly has become very slow. It takes too much time to load all websites and even the typed words and scrolling has a great delay in appearing. It becomes unresponsive very often. I tried reinstalling it and even reset it. Its becoming a pain to use this to surf the net. Please do help!!

That's pretty much it. Any link I click on opens in a new tab. For example anything on facebook: a new notification, clicking on pictures, clicking on the facebook icon to refresh the page. I can't click on anything with out it opening a new tab.

My son was playing with my computer and now my bookmark toolbar is lost. I've checked it under view and followed all the directions, but it won't come back. Bookmarks are still there, just not on a convenient toolbar.

I allowed installation of the Shop-At-Home toolbar to download and print coupons. I want to remove this. I am unable to find the name of this toolbar in the list of installed programs or in the list of plug-ins.

I had a huge session that had been there for quite a few days. I was doing some important work and had to refer to websites opened on it daily. Today when I came home I noticed that my computer had restarted. When I opened firefox to restore the session and begin work again, it opened to my home page. I don't know who sat on my computer when I was gone and how many times was it used during this time. Is there anyway to recover that previous session that I had?

I have just gotten a new computer and downloaded the newest version of Firefox and began to visit different web sites. After visiting the same site such as YouTube or Hotmail more then 3 times the page will fail to load anymore other then a plain white screen with blue text all down the side of the page. If I clear the cache everything works fine until i visit the site a few times and it does the same thing. Once one site starts to do it almost every site does it till i clear the cache. What do I have to do yo keep from this happening? Below is a blog that describes the same problems i am having but no one has come up with a solution.

Solution found:

I solved the issue of "Firefox remains minimized on taskbar and won't open or maximize" and tried to post a reply but it said the thread is closed.I press alt tab until the firefox minimized icon on the task bar is highlighted and then press winkey [uparrow] ... this maximizes selected minimized windows. This only seems to work if using alt-tab to select the window. When clicking with the mouse, it doesn't seem to work.Good luck!It was driving me nuts!

This seems to be a common problem. Firefox fails to open PDF files. It just shows a blank white screen. The common solution is to shut off the Adobe Reader add-on. Well, it didn't work for me. PDF is still not loading.

Well the question basically says it all. Starting a couple of weeks ago, i have not been able to command click links to open in new tabs (I am on a mac, OS X 10.6.8). This includes links to google books as well as library links. This only happens on google scholar. It also happens in 'safe mode'. I have contacted google support who have stated that this is a browser issue. They have not changed the coding of the scholar site. This is very frustrating. I have used FF for years and am now going to have switch to Safari, whose own command click function continues to work in google scholar. Any thoughts/ suggestions?

Receive "Server not found" message inconsistently on various sites. Sometimes "retry" command is successful; frequently not successful. The "Server not found" message even occurs with Mozilla website links on this help location. Have cleared cookies & cash, restart in safe mode (disable add-ons). No success in eliminating the problem.

I have all the latest versions of Firefox and the plugins...yet I have experienced this problem with the last several versions of FF - every 2 days or so the Flash Plug-in gets set to 'Disabled'.

To correct this I simply go in and re-enable it and the browser works fine again for several days.

I have done all the updates, the Flash update is the latest etc.

Any tips?

I cannot access gmail from any opiton, web address, or tool bar. it gives an error of cannot find root? other pages from the tool bar work ie, utube, or g +..............I have checked my cookies and all are accepted. Specific message is: This page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has dected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. this problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Every time I go to a page a popup appears in the lower left hand corner and one randomly appears in the right side. The right side is ad choices. How cam I delete these? I have Mozilla Foxfire and windows xp
