Hi There

Hotmail have this week updated their website, since then on Firefox I can't seem to open, delete, compose or do anything with my emails. All I can do is get into the inbox and that's it. I have been on Safari and seem to access all my emails as normal. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem??

I have been getting a 403 forbidden error on a website that I could previously access. It always worked fine, but one day I just started getting this error message. I can access it from Safari and Chrome, but no longer from Firefox.

It seems that after installing firefox 4 I cannot use my MacBook Pro touchpad (trackpad) for zooming in or out the page anymore, as I used to do in the previous versions of Firefox.

Many people are used to use their touchpads for zooming, instead of clicking the Cmnd +/-, and its one of the basic touchpad functions that we have on our MacBooks, and many apps are using it.

For the past month, maybe longer, Firefox has been extremely slow. The videos are also delayed. I have used firefox for many years and now I am disappointed with this browser. I cleared the cache and cookies, twice within a week. No improvement. I've been using Safari for my videos, but all my bookmarks are on firefox. How can we fix this problem? Whats going on ??

For example, if I want to sign into gmail, it asks for the username. As soon as I type in the first letter, it gives me a selection which it stored. Once I made a mistake and typed my password in there which also begins with the same letter. How do I clear the list? Actually, how can I set Firefox so that it doesn't automatically store that information.

Firefox is extremely slow for the past couple of weeks. I can't even open my banking site. I can't scroll or type without painful delays. I keep seeing the color wheel spinning and then after several seconds, it seems whatever is happening is finished and things return to normal for a few more seconds and then I get the same thing. Everything is fine on Safari.

I was recently doing some 'house-cleaning' on my computer, and for reasons known only to the ninny-gods, I delected all my security certificates. Now, when I try to login to gmail, ebay, my bank accounts, or any https:// site, I get a warning message "This Connection is Untrusted." I click the links provided to overcome the security message, but every time I go back to the site I have to jump through all the hoops again. I see a small box that can be clicked to confirm the security exception, but the little box that needs to be clicked to 'make the exception permanent' is always greyed-out. I know I am on the right sites - have been using the links on the bookmarks toolbar for years without problems. This just started after I deleted the certificates.

I have tried everything. Reloaded Firefox (am using 3.6.4) deleted and reloaded the bookmarks, follow the instructions when I get the error message. Nothing works. As soon as I close my browser, then go back online, I'm back to the error messages.

Can anyone help?

Mac 10.5.8. I can't open FF - it crashes immediately. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF and it still does the same thing. I've restarted my computer too and started in safe mode. I checked all the boxes in the safe mode window and tried to continue and restart but just keep crashing. Any help is appreciated. I can't get FF to open so there is no crash ID.

I updated Firefox on my daughter's account, which is in French, then went back to my own account, which is in English on the same Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 computer, and opened Firefox. It had updated there as well, but in French, and it won't go back to English. I even deleted French as an option in the Preferences-Contents-Languages option page, and restarted the computer. Still loads in French. My kids know French, but I don't, so this is a pain in the butt. How do I fix this?

Firefox 4 is incredibly slow. It is making it very difficult for me to work on the internet. I want to de-install it and return to the previous version, which was much faster. Please advise me about how to de-install Firefox 4. thank you, sj

Why isn't Firefox saving my log in info after I've used the "Remeber Me" option? Every time I arrive at a frequently used website where I've previously indicated to the Firefox browser to save my log in info, I still have to log in manually. The past versions of Firefox weren't like this. I'm running Firefox on both my Imac (OS 10.5.8) and on my Mac Book Pro (Snow Leopard), and on each machine the latest version of Firefox does the same thing. I don't have this problem with Safari, but I prefer to use Firefox so please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix this problem.

In recent weeks Firefox has begun to crash repeatedly and unexpectedly - mostly when I click to open it. I often get the infuriating "well this is embarrassing" message. Most unhelpful. I send you the report of the crash and expect to hear from you as to why I am having problems but nothing happens. I can't find how to locate the "about:crashes" in the location bar. Can you explain this.

I right clicked a photo on Facebook, to delete a photo, there was a message from Firefox, I said 'Yes', and ALL photos of friends disappeared, not just the one I clicked. I don't know how to restore them. They are evident when using another browser so it is peculiar to Firefox.

I am unable to edit bookmarks neither in the "organize bookmarks" menu nor in the bookmark tab (star) itself. I followed suggestions for another user to delete cookies, clear the cache and uninstall themes.

My theme is the default and I have not installed add-ons. Everything I am using in Firefox 3.6.12 is exactly what Firefox added. Prior to installing Firefox 3.6, I had no problem whatever.

PLEASE, help! If necessary, I suppose I could go back to an earlier version of Firefox.
