I've noticed my open tabs do not sync automatically like it does when I move from desktop to my Android device. Example scenario to explain this better:

I'm on my desktop Firefox with several open tabs. Then I pick up my Android device (4.2 Jelly Bean) and open Firefox Android, and I go to open new tab and chose the "Sync" menu, unfortunately the tabs it shows from my desktop device are not up to date at all.

In fact the only way I've found to sync up these tabs is to go on my Android device under Sync -> Firefox Sync -> Menu Button -> Sync Now. Then my tabs update perfect, but shouldn't this just happen automatically, or at least from a "Sync Now" button right in Firefox Android? Am I completely missing something obvious?

Firefox hides When opened in AndroVM Player.

Android Details:

                    AndroVM for VirtualBox (Tablet version with phone caps)

My PC hardware details are

                  Windows 7 32bit SP1
                  4GB RAM 
                  Intel HD Graphics
                  HP Compaq 8100 Elite model: AY031AV

Apologies if this is a stupid question. It seems to be the case that websites designed for mobiles (e.g. http://m.guardian.co.uk/), have a default text size setting which ignores the equivalent setting in Firefox Android. Consequently, in some websites like the one mentioned above, the text is unnecessarily large, making the reading process rather labour intensive. I know I could revert to the desktop site, but I'm more likely to revert back to the default android browser (which has no problem adjusting the text on these sites), which would be shame, as apart from this problem, I am loving the Firefox experience.

I am on Samsung Galaxy S2, Android 4.0.4.

I used the awesome screen to open my Android bookmarks. There is no Desktop Bookmarks folder at the top, or anywhere else. I have sync set up. I checked and saw that there was a sync today. What do I do to get the Desktop Bookmarks on the Droid?

I have tried every fix I've read about online, and nothing helps this problem: Firefox has suddenly stopped opening links from external applications. I am using version 20 on a Mac.

-Firefox says it's my default browser. -I've already tried to "go into Safari and change the default browser" trick. No dice. -I've tried reinstalling/upgrading Firefox to the latest version. It's still doing it. -Additionally, I can't trash my old Firefox version because it says "XUL is still in use." No, throwing the old Firefox in the trash does not help, so please don't post that stock reply that I see getting posted ("just trash your old Firefox") because it doesn't work.

Anything else to try?

i bookmark a lot of my google docs. when i'm using my android phone i expect that when opening those docs i get prompted with the choice to open them with the google drive app. but that just doesn't happen when i'm using firefox for android. instead, the mobile version of the google doc is opened. that's ok, but i would much rather open it with the google drive app. the same things goes for when i want to open, say, a link to a youtube video; i don't seem to get redirected to the youtube app on my phone to open it.

p.s. in case this is of any relevance: i have installed the phony add-on and set it to the android (phone) agent. that's the only way i've been able to open the mobile versions of some of these sites. otherwise, i used to get the desktop version.

My firefox on my android phone crashed which seems to caused all my bookmarks to gone missing!

Is there something i can do to maybe recover them?

This happened on Firefox BETA. (in case this is relevant or important information.)

edit: my browsing history is gone too. strange. it looks like it resetted everything after the crash?

when a form has an upload file control the browser pops up a selection dialog starting in a default folder, can the location of this folder be changed? if i browse to another one in the dialog the new location does seem to be cached somewhere for a few days but gets wiped again eventually

my keyboard is extra sensitive while using firefox on hotmail. com . I can type a user bame accurately, but when I type the password to login each key I press types in two or three character s. I can never login with my Firefox browser. I have no issues with hotmail using other browsers.

1. when a page is saved as pdf, the captured title is article.php.number. pdf. this absurd since you have to open all of them to identify what you want. 2. using the browser generates too much data that can consume any available storage with time. if the data is cleared, all add−ons and settings are lost. l love Firefox buy these two problems are unbearable. thank you.

The browser (Firefox Browser for Android 20.0.1) itself is great, but I have one problem. When I download a file (and I do this rather often) after closing browser and opening it again, Firefox starts to re-download the same file. It wouldn't be a problem if the file which has been already downloaded earlier wasn't being overwritten. But it often happens that instead of the full file, ie 460mb, I discover that my file is incomplete, of a size of several kbs. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I have just downloaded Firefox mobile for Android, and Sync'd my bookmarks. Everything is fine, but the rss feeds does not show up. Is RSS feed supported in the mobile version?

When I use Talkback and mobile Firefox, the data headers are not read when I go to a data cell. It makes it difficult, and frustrating, to figure what row of information I trying to find. I do not have that problem with VoiceOver on iOS platform. This assumes that the data table is coded correctly and VoiceOver the data table uses the scope attribute.

When phone is turned to full screen mode, there is no loading status.

So it is difficult to know when you have clicked on an icon. There is no indication on the page for how long the next page is going to be.

Is there a way off having a loading bar on full screen without the status bar?

I have Galaxy S 4 - new one. I want galaxy s 4 to connect to hdmi TV using cable to watch movie with big screen. but the big problem is screen shut down within 5 min automatically with galaxy s4 during watching movie (usually it should last more than one hour) even though I change setting galaxy s 4--only two options: 1.screen time out (10 min max) and 2. smart stay (I have to see galaxy s 4 screen all the time to stay screen on all the time). Neither of them does "not" work to watch movie on tv with more than hour. That is why i am looking for application like firefox (mozilla) for mobil to stay on screen all the time until i watch movie on hdmi TV without screen time out (shut down) more than one or two hour continually.

Two Question:

1. If i use firefox (mozilla) for mobil, can i stay screen all the time without shut down even though galaxy s4 can "not" set this way (all the time), If yes, HOW CAN i SET FIREFOX (MOZILLA) FOR MOBIL? please let me know how to set firefox for mobil step by step.

2. Can i use PAC (proxy automatic configuration) to unblock YOUKU with adobe flash player if i use firefox (mozilla) for mobil.

Please answer for my two questions and give me solutions to watch movie on hdmi TV without screen time out (shut down) more than one or two hour continually.
