i reset ff but two addons remain, fluxdvd download manager 0.5 been trying to get rid of this one for a long time and microsoft.net framework assistant 0.0.0 .

I want to send the screenshot of my desktop to my tech support. Using Gmail I paste the printscreen into the mail but when I click send it gives me an error message which says "Script not Responding" I tried to click continue a many times but it does not respond and finally firefox crashes.

I have tried doing the same using Google Chrome and that works fine. Hence i feel this is a bug with firefox and look forward for a solution on this.

I recently reset my Mozilla/Firefox. Now when I try to log on to my Parkinson's support group, the usual first screen is overridden by a second screen asking if I am a registered member. When I check YES and enter my name and pw, it seems to take that info, but then loops back and repeats... forever. This does not happen with IE. No error message appears. I cannot find a solution to this problem in FF library.

My gf inadvertently deleted all of my Firefox history. Long ago I had asked her not to ever delete my Internet history, because I use that stuff for my writing and editing work, but I take that she did it today by accident, because she usually does not do this on my computer - she does do it on her computer, regularly.

I'd like to get this stuff [info] back.

Someone told me to look for the places.sqllite files - I found those, fortunately, and I copied them to a different subdir as well, for safekeeping.

But I have not yet figured out how to load this profile info back in to ff.

I recently changed from Internet Exploryer to Mozilla Firefox with good speedy results. However, I frequently attach articles and photos to email out via Outlook Express that is asking me for my user name and password. It also does not allow a link for me to pursue obtaining a new user name or password. My Outlook Express simply piles all my attachment attempts in the Out Going Box.

I can open my hotmail e-mails in Firefox but every time I try to reply or write a new email, FF crashes :( I am using win xp pro on a dual core intel pc with 4 gb of ram.

Returning from a four day vacation I tried to load facebook but the error message that the proxy server is refusing connections popped up. I tried to access the help but was unable. I signed off my log on and logged on to my husband and everything works perfect. I accessed help and read other replies and fixes to the same problem. I started in safe mode with no luck, I disabled all add-ons with no luck. I am stumped. I really don't even know what a proxy server is..... please help.

I can no longer bring up/down the Web Console with the Ctrl + Shift + K keyboard shortcut, nor is any shortcut listed next to it under Tools-->Web Developer.

Not having a shortcut is such a hassle, what good reason is there to remove it?

If it was me who somehow removed it (haven't edited about:config any time recently), I appreciate tips on how to bring it back.

I can no longer bring up the Error Console by typing Ctrl + Shift + J and then I looked under Tools-->Web Developer and do not see the Error Console listed there.

Has it been removed? On the other hand, I don't recall Firefox updating in the last couple days, but what could I have done to remove it by accident?

If so, is there an extension being used by people who still want this feature?

Hello, I started having a problem opening hotmail a few days ago using firefox. When I click on www.hotmail.com it opens as a blank page with no error message. I can open it in IE but I don't use that browser as it is too slow for me. I have followed all suggestions including, clearing cookies, cache, plugins, downloaded latest version of firefox and I still can not open hotmail. Please can someone help me? Thank you

Before making mozilla Firefox a major part of my computer I am checking to see that programs that I need will work with it.

  I found out that I can't add-on "PAINT-SHOP PRO" which is my number one graphic program and without it I may as well mot use mozilla Firefox.
Am I doing something wrong or are listed add-ons all that can be used with Firefox?  Is there a replacement, equal-too, program that I can use?

I'm doing mass rollouts of Firefox, so I'm trying to do everything either from a command line or programatically so I have the same setup for each install regardless of the person that did the install.

I want to have the Menu bar turned on by default, and although I see how to turn it on manually, there must be some way to turn it on as part of the install which I'm missing. How would I do this?

I'm typed in "obtaining a copy of a marriage lincense in NC and it took me where it was supposed to. Then I click on either of the two Vital Records site for North Carolina and it always tells me "Unable to Connect" . This isn't the first time this has happened to me, it has happened numerous times at different sites. It's just that this is the first time I've reported it. Can you help me Please??

Realplayer download feature (cursor over a youtube video, "download this video" pops up) has recently quit working for me (I've been using it for months). I've searched knowledge bases and forums extensively and tried all the suggestions., such as rolling back from Flash Player 11.5 to 10.3 (no luck), disabling/enabling RealPlayer Download plugin in Firefox (no luck), etc. The one suggestion I'd like to try but can't is going into RealPlayer preferences and enabling/disabling the "Download and Record" function. I can't because all I have in my preferences is "Recording" and the options have nothing to do with downloading. None of the RealNetworks/RealPlayer support sites are helpful at all...

However, the download feature works just fine in Internet Explorer

I heard I could kill IE Explorer with a simple Tools > Internet Options > Connection > LAN Settings > Proxy Server setup to the address 0.0.0.0.. And, it killed the IE Explorer. From the "question" above, you know I was needing it dead because even though I NEVER run IE Explorer, every time I run CCleaner, it shows it cleans some,IE Explorer cache. I don't know if it's got to run somewhere in the background for some unauthorized reason (?) or if I have some strange virus / trojan / backdoor something that's somehow using IE Explorer to call a server and my AV (Avast) can't detect any of it. Thing is, I got IE Explorer to begone, but I could no longer access internet through Firefox either. I reset my router, cleaned like an OCD maid, and restarted. Nada. Just wouldn't connect. Another system connected to the router worked just fine. I went back into IE Explorer and tried un-checking the proxy server and quit. Sure enough, Firefox was again sucking in and spitting out packets. Question is: Are IE Explorer and Firefox connected via IE Explorer LAN settings? Or is there some malware that uses IE Explorer to communicate? And, if the latter, any ideas WTF? This is a new problem, Has anyone else seen phantom IE Explorer cache being cleaned up without ever being run?

Get a horizontal empty window opening at top of browser, only happens with Mac running firefox and seem to be triggerd by any site requiring a login.Cannot close it unless I close the browser.
