Hi, I am developing an internal website. Today I downloaded Firefox 21 (FF21) and installed it. When I loaded up the internal website the default page (default.cshtml) load properly but the first of 4 cascading dropdown boxes does not populate.

This website is hosted on a Win 2008 R2 server running IIS7.5 and the lates asp and .net frameworks. I am able to use the website without any problems in IE9.

On my development machine a local version of the same website opens and populates correctly in FF21, the local website is localhost served by webmatrix on IIS express (my machine is win 7 Entreprise 64 bit).

What is happening and how can I sort this out. Thanks.

I copied fonts from my old desk top to the new laptop, using Windows7. Windows recognizes the new fonts, as I assigned them as my defaults.

But Firefox doesn't show the new fonts as options to select as defaults. How do I get FF to recognize the new fonts?

This app market has taken over my home page. I went to control panel and deleted it there but it has not gone away. Avast is what put it there and I got rid of that trouble thing. any help will be grateful.

When doing a google search, I see no thumbnail images for things like youtube video's or an image that would typically come from authority site. Is there a setting in FireFox that is inhibiting this?

Compared to IE or Chrome which does shows a little image in Google search results.

Hi. I am from Chile, I want to help and need to open a topic in the spanish forum, but I CAN'T send the question because I don't know the right answer for the verification question, which says "What color is the animal in the Firefox logo".

This is irritating because many of us have different names for that same color! So I feel frustrated that I can't post my question.

You really need to fix that.

The ONLY thing I wanted to ask in the forum was if I can translate OR put subtitles in a video of Persona (an official Mozilla video), so many more people can understand the video. Can I do it or do I have to ask for a special permission?

I've lost about half an hour just because of that "color of the logo" question....

I have followed the instruction on backing up / restoring firefox profile.

But when i do copy everything from the old profile into the new profile whilst firefox is closed and when i do open firefox. Nothing changes, i don't see my bookmarks or anything else. I have tried to delete the new profile and creating another new one but that doesn't help, also tried the troubleshooting information and reset firefox but still no help

Is there something that i am missing?

firefox, im guessing that now i can ask a question my password problem is solved, at least for support. now do i need another password for general signin. now i have asked for reset instructions twice and was informed that they would be mailed to dnae16@gmail.com and yet i recieved neither one so i think i should state state that address once again for your expected reply and for those in the futur. thank you for your help. I accidentally typed "amd" instead of "and" and FF asked me if I meant to typed "aided". Really? Often times the word I'm looking for isn't even listed in the suggestions. And if it has a apostrophe forget it, FF has no clue about punctuation. Why? You'd think by now it'd be able to learn these things. Internet Explorer has no trouble. Can I import their dictionary somehow?

I just switched from iOS to Android, mostly for the screen size. I miss the READER ability that Safari had on the iphone. I was happy to learn that it was now built into Firefox for Android. But it is too small to use easily. When I try to select the icon I usually miss and trigger something else.

Is there a way to make the icon larger or put it somewhere else, or maybe program a swipe gesture to activate the reader function?

Since I downloaded a new version of mozilla, every time I open firefox it opens a tab mozilla.org next to a tab with my home page. How do I stop firefox opening the tab with the mozilla.org page?

I called in for help because Firefox would not display my websites correctly. I called the telephone number on the Firefox website and got Vgeek support. They remotely scanned my computer and said my computer was at risk - claiming I had a trojan that my antivirus did not find and that my computer was about to crash because internal system elements were closing down. They talked me into a $400 three year protection and support package - which some local computer repair personnel say may have not been necessary. The vgeek support say they work for Firefox. Is that correct or have I been scammed??? Please advise.

While viewing my progress during a Microsoft Flight Sim session on Google Maps my position changes periodically using IE and Chrome but not on Firefox. How can I change this?
