when craigslist is visited and a category is selected the category is a different color the next time craigslist is visited. how do i change my settings so that each time i visit craigslist all the categories are the same color?

I think it is something to do with Adobe undates that are done automaticly. I want bing gone forever, and each time I somehow get it off, it finds it's way back... Isn't that illegal?? Are there any class action lawsuits I can join against bing??

The website www.KarenBlairPaintings has been checked by three tech support people who cannot find errors in the site.

The host GoDaddy.com has checked for hosting and site errors and found none.

The site cannot be opened from the search.

after I restart my machine, I always have to Alt+Tab to interact with all of my shortcuts on desktop and taskbar. I have run both avast antivirus and superantispyware programs, and both said there are no bugs... ???? whats going on????

Having used Hotmail for 15 years and slowly evolved with it; I have now been forced into Outlook.com I now have to access http://uk.msn.com/ then branch to Outlook.com. My web mail works OK if I access it via Internet explorer (Version8) . If I use Firefox (Version 20.0.1) my message on the screen looks fine all correctly formatted. After I have sent it the result is like a 20 year old email system or the product of "Notepad". Nearly all the formatting has been stripped and the "carriage return & line feed" is all over the place.

When I use my usually redundant Internet Explorer 8, Outlook.com sends the Email message as would be expected.

I have been making a fool of myself by sending what looks like garbage. Unfortunately changing email addresses is not the simple solution, as 100s of people have my email address.

I really don't want to be a pawn in a fight for eyeballs between Mozilla and Microsoft.

I found 2 icons on my desktop that were automatically created yesterday according to "properties." One reads "continue firefox installation" and the other "install main screen." Is this legit or what? I already have mozillafirefox on my deskstop since 2 years ago.

I have that Value Apps icon added to my toolbar and cannot remove it.

Tried all the common solutions (add ons etc.) as far as I know and those config changes suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/713710. That does remove the icon for a while but it then re-appears. I do not want that icon, is it malicious? The pop up window associated with it has not been installed consciously by me and I do not want it. At best it annoys me.

I have not tried the last suggestion on that link "SUCCESS! I uninstalled FF using the Revo uninstaller in the most thorough mode and then reinstalled FF." yet. Can anyone tell me what the Revo uninstaller is and implications?

Further I have more info. I use Zone Alarm Extreme security (for years and am happy with it) and it installs a Security toolbar in Firefox. No real issues to date but I recently noticed the Value Apps icon (no idea how long it was there) It appears to the right of the ZA search box sizing separator. As above resetting Conduit config parameters does eliminate the toolbar icon for a while but it also eliminates the ZA toolbar as it also uses Conduit.

ZA help was limited (not my usual experience) and I wonder were to go from here?

I have a screenshot of the icon that I could post and also the config settings for Conduit, if of any use.

I've now removed and re-installed the Shockwave Flash plug-in twice and deleted and re-installed Firefox itself twice and still the Flash script keeps hanging Firefox for several minutes, several times a night, either when I go to a Flash-rich page or try to do some with a Flash object (e.g. share a Youtube video from one page on Facebook to another). A friend suggests it might be because my pc is 10 years old and can't keep up with the current Flash. If so, can I get a an older version of Flash as I can't afford a new pc. Thanks.

I must have accidently uninstalled an audio device and I've tried several things to fix it, but to no avail. Do I have to have a sound card, or can this be fixed by installing a program? Please help me - I'm not very computer literate....obviously. Thank you.

I tried registering with Mozilla Add-ons as I wish to upload a Firefox extension we developed. So I registered with Mozilla Add-ons. I was then sent a confirmation email with a link. I clicked on that link to activate my account, but I cannot login with my username and password.

I tried registering new accounts a few times, using different usernames, passwords and email addresses, and even after clicking on each confirmation link in the email, I still cannot logon to any of my new accounts. Please help.

I have downloaded a JNLP file from http://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/category/physics for a physics class that I'm taking, but the file will not load or start in Firefox. Java Web Start has already been installed by the system administrator but there is no file association for, nor is there a "JNLP" file type listed in Firefox --> Tools --> Options --> Applications

How can this be fixed so that the "JNLP" file type is listed in Firefox --> Tools --> Options --> Applications?

If you can get me that far I can do the rest by making the file association to javaws.exe. Thanks.

I have created an XPI AddOn and I am planning to distribute it to my client.

The problem is that XPI can be opened using WinZip or WinRar and users can modify the contents and then repackage the modified contents as XPI again.

Is there a way to password protect the XPI file? Is there a way to add a Date based check so that I can control that no one uses it for more than 30 days?

First I am a dinosaur and know nothing about computers so please speak in every day English! I have been unable to get to comcast.net from Firefox for the last three days. Actually, I can connect but it is in a format that is unusable. I can connect through Internet Explorer which I dislike but I can at least read my e-mail. Comcast told me several years ago that they do not support Firefox, does Firefox need an update or have I inadvertently done something to cause this? I even tried downloading Firefox again and it still won't work so I can get to my e-mail. I could have done something and don't know enough to fix the problem because about three days ago I somehow changed my home page from comcast.net to a Google page. I don't know how I did that so I don't know how to undo it. I am 69 years old and I still believe computers are magic. Can you help me or do I need a computer nerd to come out and sort through what the problem is?

Google.com works fine in IE8, XP prof. SP2 default search in Firefox 21 is google.com, which does not work, even when firewall is disabled and connection is "no proxy", nor when cache en cookies cleaned and pc restarted; Google.be (I live in Belgium!) does work fine. Can I set the default to google.be instead of google.com??

It has nothing to do with clicking the minimized "-", I simply Alt-Tab to another software program, and within a minute or a few, FireFox has terminated the process.

I saw someone had the same problem a while back:

it bothered me to see the thread closed, with no answer.

This problem is there in a consistent way, day after day (boot after boot). Other than this everything seems to be fine!
