I just got notice this morning about this new version of Firefox but I'm hesitant to install until I know that my Norton toolbar will work. Can you provide some information? Thanks!

I have just got a new laptop running Windows 8, I do not use the start screen, I have downloaded Start Windows 8 and only use the desktop. I have downloaded Firefox and I am currently using vesion 20.0.1

I added MyWot and Adblock Plus and Downloader Helper.

Initially I was having a problem with the display of Cnet and the odd other site. I figured this was likely to be an issue with Adblock Plus, I disabled it on that site and it was fine. I then started losing the email functions in Yahoo mail, 'move', 'forward' etc. that run along the top of the inbox, and the drop down menu to log out woudn't show. I've since been getting problems with the display of other websites such as booking.com and now the Facebook log in page. By displaying incorrectly, I mean things appearing in line and in Times New Roman.

I have restarted with add ons disabled that didn't fix it, so I reset Firefox. This had the sites working. I reinstalled MyWot, restaretd, stillworked. Reinstalled Downloader Helper, restarted, still worked. I did not reinstall Adblock. I was using the Transport for London wesbite which was fine until I logged out and then that page appeared in Times New Roman too. The Facebook log in page is also broken again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know my way around a computer to an extent but I'm not that techy. I've done the auto add information below, I don't know what most of it means (Avast plug in has been disabled through all this).

I have not been having these problems on my old XP laptop that I've still been using.

I need to open a pdf in the firefox broswer, but since I clicked "open in TWINUI", and remember my choice, it doesn't let me open in the broswer anymore. How do I change that preference?

The message "Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" occurs on every page of every web site. Click Install and I get message "No suitable plugins were found". V 19.0.2 Windows 8

About one year back, I saved a webpage as webpage complete, that is, as a HTML file and a folder containing associated files. Recently I added mozilla archive format add-on. I revisited the webpage and it has changed a little bit, for example the picture in the heading and another picture in the body of the page. Now I saved this changed webpage as a single file, in MHT format. Now when I am opening the MHT file it is showing the previous version of the webpage, and at the top it is showing 'saved from: file:///G:/Document/Religion/filename'. When I move the file in another drive or folder firefox opens the changed version of the webpage and at the top 'Saved from: http://mukto-mona.com/bangla_blog/?p=28719, that is url of the webpage. When I move the file in G it again shows the old version. One word more, I downloaded all files and temporarily saved them in C drive. Later I moved them elsewhere. As you can see this above file I saved in G drive. I tried clearing cookies and histories of firefox and browsing history in Windows internet options. Problem is not going. I do not know whether it is a cookie problem, but I placed the question here.

Though I mentioned about a single saved file just for instance, actually the problem showing for several files. Thanks in advance.

I have a Windows 8 laptop on the Beta channel. I updated to Firefox 22 Beta yesterday and noticed that the Roboform toolbox was missing. I reinstalled Roboform, just to make sure, but it was not present in the browser windows, nor is it on the Toolbar menu. It does show as an installed add-in, and the toolbar is present in I.E. 10 and Chrome.

When I go to a web site (not all but some) ie http://www.illinoislottery.com/en-us/home.html

If I scroll down to lucky numbers, in box labeled mega and lotto next day and extra shot are over typed. Almost like there was a CR and no line feed. This problem also happens on other web sites but not all web sites.

I have noticed the SSL padlock sometimes does not appear on pages which are secure. However, whenever I refresh the page it appears. I have checked all other browsers and they work perfectly. Why would this be happening?

The title sums it up nicely. I bought a new laptop 2 days ago and Facebook and Twitter do not load correctly in Firefox (ANY AND ALL VERSIONS - I have been installing/uninstalling/reinstalling nonstop like a maniac). They load in every other browser just fine.

Basically what happened is I installed Firefox on the new laptop (first thing I did), loaded Facebook and Twitter for the first time, and once I closed those pages and re-opened them, they started to appear with the text flush to the left and without some images. Almost looks like a part of the CSS code is missing.

I have tried ALL of the solutions posted on these support forums. None of them are permanent

Clearing my cookies/cache IS NOT an adequate solution. It works for the first time and then I have to do it every time I close and re-open FB/Twitter. Since the entire Windows 8 O/S concept is based on the "social experience," this seems somewhat ironic. Either it's a problem with my new laptop but I doubt it, as I said before, every other browser and webpage work fine.

My conclusion is there's a problem between Firefox/Windows 8/Facebook and Twitter. If someone could just confirm or shed some insight to development problems or suggest permanent fixes, that would be greatly appreciated and save me a lot of headache. As it stands, I'm about to throw this laptop out the window. >_> I'm very much not impressed with the hassle this transition has been.

Google Chrome has always been a close second to Firefox in my eyes and it looks like I'll have to switch over, despite the fact the former does not have a customizable bookmark toolbar.

I just got Windows8. When sending an attachment via Earthlink Webmail, the attachment cannot be opened. This happens both in Firefox and IE. Note: Attachments can be opened in gmail but I would rather use Earthlink.

I have a problem with Firefox when using Proxifier software. When proxifier is runing and I'm browsing web pages with firefox all things is OK. But after exiting proxifier while web pages are still open in firefox, I encounter a problem. In spite of the internet is still connected but my firefox could not open any web pages unless firefox is restarted.

You are kindly requested help me how to solve this problem not to restart firefox.

On a few sites, the pages load very slow (minutes). I had the exact same problem (same pages as well) on another computer and fixed it by formatting/installing windows 8. I'd like to avoid formatting this computer. It loads much faster in IE.

What I have: Windows 7 (all updates), Firefox 21

What I don't have: antivirus software special firewall settings

What I've tried: Uninstall (everything in Firefox), reboot, reinstall Firefox Remove cookies, history Safemode run Unchecked hardware accel

Is there an add-on that will auto load web pages from a list, on an interval of 20 seconds for each page?

I want to use Firefox to Auto load a list of news sites, on a monitor that is in a newsroom for journalists. So they are able to see the lates news from different sites auto load the whole day.

Is there a addon that can help me do this?

this happens most but not all of the time. I close Firefox and then cannot reopen it without going into taskmaster and highlighting Firefox and clicking "end task." Also related i think to this problem is that often when i am on a website using firefox as my web browser and there is a link to click on, nothing happens when i click on the link. I do not have this problem if i use Google Chrome for my web browser. I am running Windows 8 on a new computer but i had this problem develop in the past 2 months on my old computer before i switched to the new one.

firebug and web developer is a fantastic tool i use it all the time. however it dawns on me that hackers can use it too. with the rise of hacking in the world, the advent of both of these fantastic tools also aids them in there efforts to destroy/steel what someone has made . I'm not a super programer and don't like the fact that anyone (which includes hackers) could see all or most of my code. when governments setup hackers to do nothing but hack websites then there should be a way to turn off the ability to see the code that someone has worked very hard to write. Is there a way to disable these tools from the web server and or website side.

Simply I want the option to control how many tiles are there. Nine is ok, but 16, 25, and maybe 36 would be great for options. With the choice of smaller thumbnails or a scrolling screen. Personally I'd like a 16 (4 by 4) That i could scroll down if I wanted to add more rows. Also the auto populate could get you in trouble with naughty pop-ups. Being able to turn off auto-populate would be nice as well. If that is already an option I haven't found it yet.
