Hi I install Firefox 20.0.1

I try to use -private-toggle from

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options#-private-toggle

and it is not working. I try

firefox-path.exe -private-toggle url1 url2

In firefox 19 this was working.

I have www.ixedit.com installed on a website to create some jquery code to hide/show form elements.

However it is not working in FF as it says its needs Google Gears to run.

How can I get this working as Google Gears is no longer available?

Clicking on the new page will put the bookmarks back underneath, but it is annoying to have to move it in order to see the page i requested. This is the latest Firefox version and Windows 7. It even did it on top of this screen while I was typing this question..

This is the most horribly designed POS I've had the pleasure of using.

I want to setup sync on my mom's firefox. I have an account already, so I click that button. Now It wants me to pair a device. I have no access to the other computer that firefox sync was presumably setup on. Ok fine I click "I don't have the device with me."

Now they want me to sign in and provide a recovery key. WTF Is a recovery key and when did I ever get one? Fine, I generate one. I save it. Now I click "Sign in". Nope, still not working. It says my key is wrong. Umm. The key you just GAVE ME is wrong. Fine. I try again, and again. The next button is not working.

All I want to do is sync bookmarks with my mom's ipad. On the ipad app I'm using, it tells me to click "Add a device" on my browser. Umm, there is no such button. Both apps are giving me PAIRING keys; neither app is letting me actually enter a pairing key for the other.

This is horrible; absolutely horrible. This is why I use chrome. Mozilla you should be ashamed of this product.

Every time that I turn my computer off, my Adblock software disappears. When I restart Firefox, I have to reinstall it all over again.

I am having this problem with a Lenovo T400 laptop with a fresh installation of Windows 7 that I just bought. I have several other computers, all with Adblock, but this is the only one that gives this problem

At libreoffice site I clicked on download and the download appeared in "My Documents" in "Downloads. When I click it to install it, it says it can't read it and to contact section administrator.

When I try to go to a web site from another web site or from an email from a link, I am required to click on the "ALLOW" button every time. It seems like if I have already clicked on it that I have allowed it. It is very frustrating. If it can't be fixed, I will either go back to an older version of firefox or choose another browser

My company uses Outlook and Lync on Windows 7. Prior to upgraded to Firefox 21, I could open an appointment in Outlook, then click on a "join the call" link. This would trigger a page in Firefox, that would in turn trigger the Lync application to launch the call.

Since the upgrade, instead of launching Lync, it takes me to a page that offers options such as "join meeting using your web browser," "download and install Lync Attendee," and "use Communicator." This is not the desired behavior. Pasting the "join the call" link into Internet Explorer and Safari for Windows executes the correct behavior. It's as though Firefox is not aware of Lync. This behavior literally started after the updated to Firefox 21.

How do I correct this?

I've used the instructions in the "Help" section to fix a tab problem. It did not work. I'm not that interested in having the "community" help me. I would however appreciate talking to a Mozilla representative who can quickly cure the problem for me. I'm guessing a two minute phone conversation will get it done.

I tried reset, reinstall, different drivers and Flash versions, reinstall Windows. Same problem at another computer. Windows 7, x64. The issue also happens when disabling flash sandbox and with a new profile.

When I go to FF home page an update screen opens up for Express Files Updater, requesting me to update. Is this part of FF / Mozilla and should I update? Thank you for help.

I noticed that as of today, every now and then, a drop down commercial ad (with voice) appears on my FF browser screen. This has never happened before. I've run a Windows Defender, and Microsoft Safety Scan. The problem continues.

I have been trying to find out if Xmarks (4.2.1) will update my online bookmarks but I realized whenever I load the local Firefox (V21.0) bookmarks , I am not able to see that is reflected to my Xmarks online account

Installed firefox on a new computer to find that all of the jumplist shortcuts were missing except "Mozilla Firefox", "Unpin", and "Close". New tab, new window, recent, and pinned tabs options are all missing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as changing the browser.taskbar.lists.tasks.enabled in about:config from true to false and back again, but nothing seems to work.
