EVERY time I click on a link or try to navigate to a new window I get the window that says the connection is untrusted. Firefox cannot be sure the connection is secure. I have to click on two separate buttons (which open page extensions) to finally get to where I am going. I also have to assign the new window a certificate???? This just started Firefox. How does this get fixed? Otherwise I will go back to Explorer.

This is my 3rd request. I cannot get rid of http://btsearch.name/# as my home page. I never made it my home page but some software I downloaded made it so. I have tried everything I know to change it back to besthomepage ever but no luck

Firefox won't play any videos youtube flash etc. However IE does play them, I have tried many things like installing and desinstaling flash and nothing. Any ideas?

I am John, one of the forum moderators.

We have been seeing quite a few questions about Firefox going transparent. Our expert contributor madperson has solved many of these questions already, but we have not yet found the cause of the problem. There is a workaround, and will explain it in the next comment.

Meanwhile may I ask for your help please so that we may gather information on this and try to work out a proper solution. It would help if everyone with such a problem starts their own thread, and then posts into this thread to confirm that they have done so.

To start your own thread and put the required information in it

1. Ask a question by following this link: /questions/new
   1. it first of all asks for a question title just say "Transparent Firerfox"
   2. you get the opportunity to read similar questions and relevant articles, you may do that if you wish
   3. there is then a largish box in which to type the full question Details describe you problem there the best you can. also see the next comment about the workarounds and try to give information about what worked and additional information about any changes
   4. next it is asking for system information and confirmation of details alongside a Troubleshooting Information it is really helpful if at this stage you can as requested paste the troubleshooting information into the box.
      Use Help -> Troubleshooting Information; click on the button [copy information to clipboard] then paste that information into the box (Keyboard key Ctrl + P when both are pressed at the same time should paste the content from the clipboard)
2. Click on the green button to [Post Question]

I keep getting this error in fire fox 14 and hoped it would go away in 15 but is continuing. i have tried to repair the install and uninstalling and re-installing with no joy. the error message reads.

i had just been using firefox from since so long and it never occurred to me if there is a difference between the two terms... i juz wanna know if there is difference between these two>?????

One of my website in particular faces a lot of issue while I work on Firefox. When I open http://www.time2.co/ after sometime the Firefox crashes. Is the working of Firefox also depends upon the bandwidth of the website and other such things. Google Chrome seems to work just fine.

When I first started to firefox which is the best browser it installed just fine. Now however after uninstalling it after a few recurring problems and trying to re-install the program I am recieving this problems: You may not have the necessary permissions to use all the features of the program you are about to run. You may run this prgram as a different user or continue to run the program as the current user.

After trying as the current user it extract files and nothing more is told of it, I have no idea what it means by running by the program as a different user because I tried using all of my User names including my emails and nothing happened except it saying that the password is incorrect or the user name.

Can anyone help so I can just go back and browse the internet regurally like I have been doing before these problems started?

Three related questions 1. Is it possible to download Firefox without also getting Blekko malware? 2. How do I delete Blekko malware and restore to prior state? 3. How can a respected organization like Mozilla allow its main product to load malware?

I cant find those the Virtual Browsing feature in my security software...

I downloaded firefox 13 about a week ago and when I open a new tab the boxes that are supposed to display your most visited webpages don't work, if you go to your bookmark that says "Most Visited" that displays my most visited webpages fine but none of the pages show up on my new tab page. Also if I click and drag one of the websites into the boxes the website name appears but it never loads any picture for the website. If I don't click and drag the website to one of the boxes then the box is empty....there is no website, nothing. But I've gone to plenty of sites plenty amount of times and it is not showing up http://i.imgur.com/TWmAU.png --- Here's a image of what I see (to clear up any confusion)

I click on Firefox icon & get an error of "This application has failed to start because plc4.dll was not found". I don't want to really re-install as I want to keep my bookmarks. Is there anyway around this?
