I had to reinstall my personal computer, I made SYNC with e-mail and password, but there wasn't key. It's my first time, it says "complete", I thought everything is ok. I did the install and now I see I need some key?!?! Did I lost all my information? HELP!!!

I'm using Firefox 18.0.2 on my several PC's and synch works fine between them. But on my Smasung Note 2 (Android 4.1.2) Firefox could never synched bookmarks from PC. However opened tabs seems to be synchronized from PC to my mobile phone. But none of mbookmay PC rks seems on my Phone. I got no error message after synch operation on my android phone. But no bookmarks synchronized.

All options including Bookmarks selected under what to synch menu. I also tried only to select bookmarks, but helped.

I'm waiting this feature to work during a few months, through different firefox PC and android releases, now as a final hope I'm contacting with you.

My synch usename is buyukbang@gmail.com and I'm using default Firefox server.

I'm sure there is a bug blocking my bookmarks to be synched to my Android Phone , I really want to help Firefox devs to fix these bug.

Hello: I have set up sync on all my devices (iMac desktop first, then MacBook Air and Android Galaxy S3), set up a sync account, and gone through all of the steps for syncing (mainly interested in bookmarks). Secondary devices show up as linked, however, bookmarks do not sync, nor does anything else checked in the preferences "Sync My" window. FF21. thank you for your help. pete

I'm running WIndows 7 Ultimate 64, Firefox 21.0 on an HP Pavilion DV7T laptop. Every time I try to use (sync) Firefox Sync I get the error message " firefox sync failed to connect to the server". I deleted my Sync account and created a new one successfully. I am NOT running ANY firewall software (not even Windows Firewall), nor do I have a current anti-virus program installed / running.

The error messages for sync aren't useful. I don't know what the problem is, other then "it gives an error."

It has "success" and "error" together. Is it saying that success failed? The log is in yoda-speak.

What is the error here?

Does "status.sync: success.sync => error.login.reason.network" and the surrounding messages indicate that sync sucess failed? What do the other messages mean? All I see is that will try again.

I found bug 859889 on Bugzilla, I would like to develop a patch for it. In my software development class, my professor asked us to get the permission of a leading developer for our project proposal. If you can direct me to such a developer, that would be great. The dev in question should also have access to Firefox Android's code base, as to apply the patch if completed and accepted.

So my hard drive died. I cannot get to the files (at all). I synced my Mozilla bookmarks with my phone and can still view my desktop bookmarks. Anyway that I can re-sync them, or email them from my phone to my computer?

To day suddenly the links on all web pages do not work. Facebook I try to view more of a ad or post and it never opens to the rest of the post. To day I was visiting a real state web site and the link to switch from house info to map would not open. So smaller links on a link will not open.

Exapmple: Open web page. Find a item to look at. Click to read item and any little links inside that link will not open.

I tell FF on my computer to sync by clicking the "I have an account" box. A screen pops up with three fields with numbers and letters. I then go to the sync option in my phone where I'm supposed to enter that information, and I'm given more numbers/letters to put in my computer. I know that sometime ago I set up sync, but it isn't connecting now, and I need to know how to flush the system and start over.

I have a new laptop and numerous bookmarks I want to retreive from my desktop, I set up an account and paired the device both ways and its says synced but my laptop isn't showing the bookmarks or anything. Do you get the code from the old device and enter in the new device correct? again I did both ways because it didn't work so not sure what to do

Windows XP, Firefox, all updates. Neither Laptop or Desktop will automatically sync, I have to request sync to update bookmarks, and then I have to enter username, password, and then go find my key. I do not believe sync was intended to be so cumbersome, how do I make it run smoothly? I do cleanups regularly. Thank you.

I've had to replace my C:\ and want to pull my Bookmarks from Sync. I presume that using Sync, actually stores my Bookmarks etc. in the cloud somewhere, so how do I go about pulling them back down out of the cloud to sync with my "new" computer?

I've also upgraded the OS from Win XP to Win 7

I created a sync account on my old laptop 3 weeks ago. I got a new laptop this week and I'm trying to get all of my old bookmarks and passwords. I am trying to sync the new laptop, but it isn't pulling in anything from the old account. I don't have a recovery key. Is there anything I can do?

I set up Sync on a Linux Mint os. I had to go back to Windows 7 os. Once I set up Firefox on the new os, I tried to recover the data from Sync, but I couldn't access it. I have my Recovery Key.

I had to format my HDD and reinstall everything. Previously I had set up Firefox Sync so I could retrieve all my bookmarks and whatnot. When I put in the 3 part code to retrieve said data, it gives me an error saying "Please try again." No error code or explanation, just that. Originally, the servers were having issues so I decided that was the issue. But now that the servers are in normal condition, it still gives me the same error.

Hi, I followed the instructions to alter security to allow downloads from this site, but the box is still inert. Nothing happens when I click on "allow" or "x" to close it. I already restarted the computer. I'm trying to install firefox on my iPhone 4S. Thanks.
