The download pop-up window save or cancel. At save the download begins with the download window monitoring the download. When the download is finished the right-click option is not accessible for "open". Double clicking the download does not open it. The file is not saving in the specified "Downloads" folder that I have selected in the options window. I just bought a DVD Decoder downloaded it and now I have to open it or I have to buy it again. Is there someway I can open the file? Mozilla 3.6.8 did not allow the Troubleshooter 1.1.a

I have been using Firefox since you guys started & never had a problem till now. I cannot save any images from any website no matter what the type & it is only happening on Firefox & it started when I upgrade to Ver. 20 which by the way I HATE....I prefer the older version so I loaded that back onto my computer BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE. It is only happening on FIREFOX cause I downloaded these images using Internet Explorer which actually is easier now to use than your new Ver. 20.......

Anyway if I click on image & then "save as" & tell it where to download....it goes through the process & even shows up in the download window like it has downloaded....but if you click on the download window to see the image...nothing happens.....if you go to the file where you downloaded the image to, the file is NOT there??????? Now like I said this started after it updated to version 20...I now have Version 3.6.8 loaded....cause I do not want this new version 20....I am an old man, I have Windows Vista Ultimate on my desktop.....and I do not like the layout of 20 & it is very hard to do anything....anyway can you TELL ME PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS what is going on & why did this all happen & the big thing.....HOW THE HECK DO I FIX IT PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.......

The link connects to my G drive and it should open up a folder for me to store things on my hard drive. This works on IE although I usually use firefox at home so I changed my browser at work. Can you tell me how to make these links work so that i can use a website online that will connect to my offline folders?

hai. i need help. and just for heads up, i;m not computer/tech savvy.

i dont remember when this problem was started (maybe around 2 or 3 months ago) but everytime i opened some sites, the page displayed for a while then it reload itself and shown a blank page. the link is still the same with the link i tried to access, it just keep loading and shown blank page till it stop loading. refreshing the page wont help. usually i need to click 'Back' then while it shown the page i click 'X' to stop the page loading, so i can see the page.

but if i need to download files, stopping the page wont make me able to downloaded the files since the page didnt fully loaded.

the websites i encountered this was (so far) :

- Indowebster (download page)

- wiki.d-addicts.com (a wikipedia kind of page)

- photobucket (just encountered this today)

- and 1 or 2 other sites, i forgot.

but i can access all those sites just fine with IE. I also able to access it in Mozilla thru my work computer. at first this dint really bother me as i can just click 'stop loading page' or found another download sites for downloading. but as today i experienced it with photobucket 9which as far as i know didnt happened before) it made me worry that soon i would experiencing this with another sites too.

editted to add info :

i already clear cache and cookies. also disable all extensions in my add-ons. from some discussion page, many of them found that this was caused by Real-Player. i have uninstalled Real Player and have disabled the Real Player Plugins long before this problem occured. so i dont think Real Player was the caused.

I can't seem to access firefox.com or mozilla.org. And I can't update firefox. I can access every other website, but not mozilla.org. It seems like something is blocking me from accessing and updating firefox.

I have called the w.w. help desk. Th ey accessed my computer and it see that I completed episode 4 but they could not get saba to accept it and give me credit for it. I can not work on episode 5.

I use a (dilapidated) Mac, and a couple weeks or so ago I was having issues with the history while using Firefox (back button didn't work, most noticably). I remember finding a fix, something about renaming a file. Only now have I noticed that my extensive bookmark collection is kaput. As directed by Firefox troubleshooting and other Google searches, I attempted to restore from all of the dates on file in Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/~/bookmarkbackups, but none of them restored a single bookmark. Do I have any other options?

I want to know how can I lock Mozilla for using only homepage! I'm using UBUNTU 10.04 LTS, and I dont know to find "Program files" like on Windows. I saw a solution on http://ilias.ca/blog/2005/03/locking-mozilla-firefox-settings/, but I cant find where I must put this file... Please help me!

I can't view the language malayalam. While using www.wattpad.com. Malayalam browsing site. Am using Malayalam Chowara Editor to prepare the articles. But i can't get that font. the Font is installed in my computer and the editor showing the lanuguage. but in the above site it can't. Why?

I have windows 7 installed and and I didn't have any problem with Facebook until recently. Suddenly, I couldn't watch videos on Facebook and when I tried to play a game it wouldn't load. As a matter of fact I don't even get a loading message on my screen, but instead of that I get a blank page with no messsages at all. I have the latest version of flash player installed and I've already look through related topics, but I couldn't solve my problem.

I registered on the support forum but did not realise that in giving a user name, that name would be publicly viewable.

Is it possible to change your user name once registered? Or delete the registered account, then re-register using the same email address but with a different user name?

Thanks in anticipation of someone knowing how!

Every time i try to play any game using flash player with Firefox i have a lot of lag time. I have to stop playing and wait for things to catch up to play to play any more,I do not have this problem with google chrome playing the same games.I have updated all add ons and plugins.
