I cant open the "show all history" or "show all bookmarks" in firefox 12.0. I click on the button and nothing hapenes, I have checked all of my settings, done lots of searches and research to fix this problem and I cant find anything.

I've FF 12 and W8 (brand new !!) installed on my laptop (brand new too !) Antivirus : avast free

but this problem was always present ... fro the start

no downloading if captcha necessary (the only sites working are rapidshare, hotfile and ruyshare) : the problem is that i don't see the captcha box ... and if I click on the button, yhe same page reappears, saying wrong captcha ... but still no captcha visible. no questionning with site intern questionnary if captcha is needed

on forum, images appears the first time, but that's all no second time ... (real player is not installed)

In the last day or two I have noticed a pop up saying " Firefox Plug-in HD Video Player is missing: " with an icon to install the plugin.

I searched around the net and found only one sight saying, " this is malware or a phishing program so do not download and just ignore. I am still able to watch movies and what not online but the message is just so damn annoying.

I am using adblock but it is not blocking that message. I am not really sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the bookmarks on Firefox have disappeared and no new ones can be added. I tried the backup procedure to restore lost bookmarks but I am told that the backup files (all ten of them, by date) cannot be read. History files also are not shown.

The "IowaCollegeAid.gov" web site for filling out an application for financial Aid comes up with a window stating their web site will not work properly with my Firefox Ver 12 and it only supports ver 8 or 9. I tried to use Version 12 anyway but it appears not to work. Is their an option to make Ver 12 act like Ver 8 or 9 in this case or what else could I do? Do I have to reinstall a version 9 or is that even possible?

Lately, when I log on to my yahoo mail while using firefox, it no longer shows the DELETE option at the top of the email page. So, I cannot delete any emails that I might wish to delete. Also, I cannot get past the first page of my emails. Every time I click on the NEXT PAGE button, it does not move from page 1. This does not happen when I log onto yahoo mail using Internet Explorer. Please advise as to what I can do to correct this. Could it be that I'm not using the latest version of Firefox? I don't know...

Everything I had on my tool bar, and all the sites listed in my Bookmarks are GONE!!!

What have you done with those sites? They were very important to me - I can not handle all these changes by Mozilla - None of these changes are of any use to me. I want to go back to my original screen and when I logged on today you would not let me access my internet and original screen without entering info that changed everything on my computer window!!! Help me find those BOOKMARKS

Mozilla Firefox is not user friendly - I don't want all these apps - EBay, Weather or YouTube! I had the necessary sites listed that are important and used everyday - not those listed. Who are you to determine what "apps" I should be using???

I have tried about:config and seeing if the dom.storage could be changed from false to true. I did some research and this is what others suggested to do. In my advanced setting it was already set to to true. I have no idea what to try next help!!

The forum runs a banner advert in the masthead - Firefox users have been in touch to say that when firing up the forum it's visbile that the banner advert attempts to load but it fails.

There's no issues on all other browsers.

Is this a setting within Firefox that users can change or is it a browser issue?

How do I get ride of the dreadful CONDUIT SEARCH which has colonised my Firefox search like computer Herpes? I have tried a few of the replies but nothing has helped - it appears nowhere on any program list and even the following didn't do the trick :-

1. Open Firefox 2. On the address bar, type – about:config in the URL. Press Enter. 3. You will be warned about Warranty. Click on “I’ll be careful…”

4. On the Filter dialog box type – search.conduit 5. It will display all related entries. Right-click on Preferences Name and Reset. It worked for me, after trying a dozen of "fake" solutions. ;)

Other than serious chainsaw work, any ideas?

I cannot find the Runfield game and want to know if it is still available - I cannot find in th eproduct catalogue. The game had a fox runnin g through a cornfiled or snow (both used the same underlyiing terrain - the object wa sto get the fox over as many ditches as possible. Also had one of the best pieces of games music !

i can only get save file not run file for download updates

i can download the files ..says file download complete..but dont know where they go and cant get them to run and install as i dont get the option in the box, thanks for your help...

instead of stating Google search something called isoft online appears I have tried changing manually but it returns when I restart internet search I uninstalled firefox and downloaded the latest version---same problem I have removed all toolbars even AVG and run all the various spyware and ad removers with latest updates but cannot eliminate this problem

 I hope somebody can help as I do nor want to reformat the disc

I am changing my ISP. Before I move, I need to save two or three email folders ( 200+ emails) to my desktop so that I can copy them to a CD. Any help would be most welcome. Regards, jollyrog.
