the following message keeps popping up on Firefox

Browser settings change An unknown change was detected on your browser's search settings: Keep my current settings. I am aware of this change and approve it.

how can I get rid of it?

Drop in savings menu started coming up on web pages recently-shows up in upper right corner and usually about where the logout word is when you want to close a program upper right corner and shows coupons. not sure if they're usable as I did not ask to be shown anything by the program I did not add so I don't trust where it might take me. How can I eliminate it from the browser or block it from running in the browser? I just need some technical instructions on how to find it when it runs and stop it.

1. This has gone on actually since at least Firefox 8 for many of us. With Windows 7 32 or 64bit, AND we are told OTHER OS's as well, Firefox 12 IS consuming too much memory!

When FF 12 memory consumption "hits" 800MB on a 8 GB machine, and continues to slowly climb, FF 12 has code or other problems.

2. ALSO, Firefox 12 under many circumstances, is slowing to a crawl, especially in opening windows and tabs.

NOTHING we do, inspect with memory tools, etc. seems to point to any "culprits" or guide the way to researching and potentially solving these problems...and they ARE problems within Firefox 12, and likely earlier versions.

TIME TO CLEAR THE AIR?

These are problems being seen by others, with or without any (totally blanked out/disabled) Add-On's and even most Plug-In's being disabled or removed, both for testing the problems sen in FF 12.

There IS a problem, or more than one, here, and it's not isolated or "just refer to this checklist" solvable.

There's problems, perhaps memory leaks and other agenda IN THE CODE.

We users need to stop being poo-poo'ed and "pampered" by needless communications that do nothing to truly address the problems.

A box popped up after I clicked on my friends names who I wanted to send requests to for help in the facebook game Castleville~the entire message inside the box reads as follows: 'ZDVIRALMANAGER--ONREQUESTDONE--ERROR! ZID-FBID Mapping Failed.'

For the past week I get a message from Norton telling me that radiowmpcoregecko is safe. I can't find it anywhere and I have no idea what it is or where it came from. Is it important - if so, what does it do.

I recently downloaded the lastest version of Firefox which can run on my Mac 10.5.8 OS(3.6.26) Although it seems to work fine, all the menus are now in a Forein Language. How do I change back to English?

This only started happening with Firefox 7, all previous version worked fine. When using "Save Image", Firefox will not remember the most recent location in which images were saved. It will instead randomly choose prior locations in which images were saved. When saving images, I save them in different folders to sort them properly, but firefox never remembers the most recent one used. This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING because if I want to saving a group of images in a common folder, it constantly forces me to navigate to that folder instead of remembering the location of that folder from the last image saved there.

I just update to Firefox 8 and a whole bunch of favicons in the address bar and the toolbar that worked fine in FF 7 now display with a dotted line square. Force refreshing or using an extension like Places does not fix the issue.

Approximately 20% of my sites that have working favicons in every other browser no longer work in Firefox 8

Firefox hangs unexpectedly all the time. I have cleared history, checked malware and viruses, still hangs all the time. Also are you going to have Java and Google toolbar anytime soon. You said it would only be a couple of weeks, been much longer than that.

I've read through the troubleshooting blurbs and have even checked to make sure my system was working correctly. The desktop is totally bug free and I've run WinASO.

With this latest release, every time I access firefox the system crawls or hangs. Mostly hangs. Simple things like reading e-mail, browsing, downloading, or clicking on links. What's up with this version? It's so frustrating, I'm actually looking at going back to IE {shudder!}

Whenever I log into FireFox, funmood is the home page. I've tried every way I know to get rid of it and can't do it. I've uninstalled firefox twice and re downloaded it. Still funmood is the firefox home page. Also, when funmoods showed up on my browser, I started getting ultiple javascript errors everytime I went from page to page or website to website. The problem is such a bother that I've quit using FireFox until this problem can be resolved. I'll have to use Internet Explorer and I HATE Internet Explorer. Please tell me how to get rid of the javascript errors and funmood

Is it only me or etc people are having trouble installing flash player in IE 9 and firefox 8

Once clicked on download button for flash player website in IE9 it says this "the webpage cannot be found". In firefox 8.0 it says this "The requested URL /bin/install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih.exe was not found on this server."

This morning i tried downloading it in firefox and installing worked but i accidentally uninstalled it. In IE9 after i downloaded the file in my computer and it was in the process of downloading it b4 it could install it, but it stopped automatically.

Since then till now it won't download it in my computer! Is there a problem with adobe servers and their website or there's a problem in my IE9 and firefox

My laptop is Windows 7 SP1 with all the latest updates and patches and with up-to-date MSE.

I use Fedora 12. I updated from Firefox-5.0.1 to FF-6.0 After the message FF continued and what I can see is there no problem yet. Have I missed some adds-on or?

What gives? Ever since "updating" to FF 6, EVERYTHING is extremely slow. Gmail takes up to 3 minutes to load (after numerous clicks on "Reload tabs". Other sites just come up with a blank page, or just never finish loading. The green "busy" symbol will sit and spin forever, even after a page has apparently loaded. On some pages the photo placeholders never load the thumbnails, just empty boxes; sometimes fixed with "reload tabs" from the drop-down, sometimes not. Never had this problem in the past. Machine is an SYX Systemax, ASUS board, 12 G of RAM, Win7 64-bit, dual Radeon video cards, Crossfire enabled, High-speed wireless connection. Any help greatly appreciated before I go back to 5.0. Thanks in advance.
