Is there any way to start Firefox for Android in private browsing mode by default ?

I have tried searching here (didn't find a solution) and also tried changing the setting in about:config but that didn't work.

It would also be nice to set FF for Android to clear private data on exit/quit.

Solutions to either problem would be greatly appreciated.

Since two or three updates Firefox crashes always 1 or 2 seconds after starting the app.

I've tested it also with the beta 20.0b7 apk... it's always the same... start the app - 1 or 2 seconds later I'm back on the home screen.

I have the LG P970 Optimus Black phone with ICS 4.0.4

Is a fix for this problem on this phone in sight? Cause I really like the firefox browser and really dislike to use some of the other browsers in the store...

Firefox fails to open the appropriate app based on the link like Google play, youtube... instead it shows a pop-up "this link needs to be opened with an application"

How do I fix this?

I updated the firefox mobile for Android and as a consequence firefox icon was removed from my galaxy note 2 multi window tray. Is there any method to get this feature back? If not can I reinstall a firefox version that supports this feature?

Note: I've already tried Firefox 21.0 BETA version. There is no change.

On my PC I clicked "Set Up Sync" and then "I Have an Account" ans it asks to enter the code on my other device. So I went onto my Android Samsung Galaxy Nexus and opened Firefox.

Went to the home screen and there is not Sync button. Only; Top sites, Your tabs from last time, Add-ons for your Firefox, and Synced Tabs.

Going to More -> Settings -> Sync -> Account with Firefox Sync. It only shows an option to not sync and says when it last synced. The more only shows; Sync now, remove account and help.

Where do I enter the code on my Android so I can set up Firefox Sync on my PC?

When I want to Open Mozilla to use google which is my default search for the WWW I get Mozilla wanting me to Download something. I don't because I don't use Moble or Android. I have greatly enjoyed Firefox on Android for quite some time, but with the latest update, the browser crashes every single time that it is opened. There is no particular set of circumstances that will cause the crashes - simply opening Firefox always seems to be the trigger.

I've seen that a similar post was marked 'solved' but as there is no workaround, surely it should be left open.

I've been using Firefox since 2005 - almost always on Windows - though have used it on Linux. I recently got an Android tablet and was shocked at how (let's say) different, the browser is on the platform.

Tabs have been taken from the top of the screen and moved to the left. No easy dropdowns for favorite sites and worst of all, there is some ridiculous 'Top Sites' feature. I really dont see the need for such a feature as my 'top sites' would be in my favourites..

If top sites is anything like the desktop version (which thankfully was easy to get rid of) then it could potentially show a screen with my banking details (balance etc) to anyone that uses firefox on a shared tablet.

A ridiculous security oversight.. Why can we not set a homepage to a website or whatever we want? I would also like to see some further customisation options for tablets. We have a lot of screen real-estate, you know..

I see that the top sites thing is being looked at but can you please leave at least one post open to post updates.. I will be installing Firefox again but will have to use something else in the meantime - at least until I can get user profiles on my Galaxy 10.1 in 4.2.

Untill quite recently I was able to use Firefox in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's multi window feature. It has now disappeared. Why is this? Has the feature been removed on an update? Can I get it back? I liked this feature as it will was very useful for displaying flash pages side by side with another web. Please help. I have tried reinstalling the app but to no avail. Any help or suggestions would be great.
