I have a Mac mentor who gave me an old iBook out of the kindness of her heart and I've enjoyed using it very much. I can't afford to buy a new laptop.

I just changed to Broadband so I can get faster reception and watch videos and listen to audios on the Net. I want to copy videos from Utube, but I don't get continuous reception, but only longer segments than before with a jerk in between. There is a notice in the upper right hand corner of the screen that asks me to upgrade plug ins, but I fear that my 10.4.11 operating system will not support the upgrade. Do I have to and can I upgrade my operating system on an old iBook that was conceived in the early stages of Mac laptops or can I just upgrade the plug ins that I have?  I'm afraid to change what is there. Can someone help me do this myself without bothering my busy mentor with something that I ought to be able to do myself?

I have searched for all the relevant information (i.e. yahoo answers who were pretty useless) but I cannot remember how to make the site show the log in box. Possible problem with the script. There was a help page for this problem but it doesn't exist now. At the moment, www.aimsperform.co.uk just shows up a blank page. I have made it work before - cant remember how. Can't use IE as I am not using windows. Help!

when i first started Firefox 3.6.12 I was given the choice of a few background designs behind the toolbar. I chose a xmas design; now I want another. How do I find another choice?

I downloaded inbox.com by mistake and want to remove it. inbox.com takes me or reroutes to different addresses than what I originally had set up. I have a macosx10.4.1.

I down loaded Firefox 4 as you promoted and lost internet service! Message says it won't work with my OS version. It took me a LONNNGG tome to locate the Firefox 3.6.16 to reinstall, so I am sending this in to help others. www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.6.16&os=osx&lang=en-US Your web site says you will soon no longer be adding improvements to 3.6.16, so I should switch to Firefox 4. How do I do that? I have no intentions of screwing up my Mac by upgrading to OS 5 or 6. I want to stay with OS 10. 4.11. And judging by the other help messages, I am far from the only one. Please fix Firefox 4 to work for OS 4! And WARN people about OS X needs Thanks

As soon as I try to load a site the browser does not load anything at all until I start moving my mouse around. I tried updating flash and using different settings and preferences but to no avail.

I know there is an add-on "Media Loop" for Firefox that implements the loop attribute for HTML5 videos/audios, but I don't want to force every visitor of my site to install it.

FIREFOX 3.6.3, IDK if this is an update from what I had but it used to be on firefox I could block 3rd party cookies, now, even though I have found directions about how to do it, those choices are not showing up on my computer and so every cookie under the sun is being added and slowing down my computer among other things. i'm using o.s. 10.4.11 TIGER

I must have mistakenly taken onboard inbox.com a few days ago when downloading an image. Now whenever I load Firefox the opening screen display the inbox.com page instead of the Google page. How do I get rid of Inbox?

Over the last few days Gmail has begun malfunctioning. The buttons (forward, move etc.) have stopped working, and when attempting to reply to messages the error 'cannot load rich text editor' appears. This fault is duplicated on two separate macs and does not appear in Safari.

I've recently switched to Firefox from Safari and I love it. The one thing I miss about Safari is the autofill icon that you can click on and it will enter your name address, phone number, email address etc in the appropriate fields with just one click. How do I set this up in Firefox? I've looked through all the help categories and none of them seem to fit.

I cannot open pdf file links. How can I fix this. nothing happens when I click on a pdf link, a new window/tab will open up and it does not attept to load a page, I just get a blank window.

I was trying to update firefox but my computer is older but eventually it worked, but now on the top row next to firefox it shows the bookmarks etc. in a different language, i think it is dutch. Can you please help me to get it back to US english? Thank you!

When I download pdf files through Firefox, nothing appears - blank page. Sometimes a dialog box appears asking me what application I wish to select and I select Acrobat MS Word is not an option available). I've gone over my settings and preferences but can see nothing that would produce such a result. I am using a G5 iMac.

I have erased and re- uploaded and installed firefox on several occasions now but it does not rectify. I'm on OS 10.4.11 and firefox version it the latest with all flash updates installed.. Sometimes I can go back, most of the time I cannot.. Please help.
