Had problem after installing Flash Player 11.1.102.55. Works with 64 bit IE 9, but began to have trouble with Firefox. Previously never had a problem with Firefox. Some sites are O.K. but most will hang Firefox when I try to run a video.

I just installed Firefox 8.0.1 and enabled my add ons. The add on for Java says it is not compatible. Can I download another version of Java? Some of my pop up windows are not working properly. I do not have my Pop Up Blocker enabled.

Having here a strange problem with Google Maps and Firefox 8. At Google Maps Firefox didn't show the marker at the map. The Web-Console of Firefox shows the message:

[11:59:13.006] GET http://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/marker ... s_A_J2.png [HTTP/1.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required 0ms]

Google Sites (incl. gstatic.com) are configured in our Squid Proxy as allowed... With the Internet Explorer i don't have this problem, so this might be a problem (bug) in Firefox 8? We don't have this problem with Firefox 7.

Of late, when ever I attempt to listen to radio online, or view video, the viewer / Flash crashes, locks up Firefox, and seems to also have some sort of effect on MS Outlook.

I dont have a toolbar, it does not hijack my homepage. But everytime I open a new tab (which was always blank) I get a stupid bing search bar. That is the only place it shows up, but it is sooo annoying because I always go straight to typing whatever url I a going to, and this bar changes my cursors postion to it. How do I get rid of it?

I have looked in plugins/extensions. It is not there. I have looked in program files, and in control panel -> programs. Nothing there either. I even went into about:config and reset everything that had a bing value. Still having the problem. What else is there to try?

Within the past few weeks, I've noticed this more and more. My cursor will disappear while using firefox on any website. I have to click around or open new tabs or close the window for it to reappear again.

When I try to watch a video on any video streamer (YouTube, BBC iplayer, etc.) the page only partially loads. Mots of the page comes up fine, but the video itself/where the video is usually positioned appears black and doesn't load at all (not even the play.pause bar at the bottom of the video). I have the latest version of flash, and the pages load perfectly fine on other web browsers like IE and Google Chrome, but I can't view YouTube videos through other websites like Facebook when using Firefox.. I have NoScripts, but even when the option "Temporarily allows all scripts" is enabled, the video does not load. No error messages appear.

You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!

Hi, after upgrading Firefox I can't log in on my local newspaper, I get a message that says: "Java-script is not enabled or the script wasn't loaded". My Java is the latest version and in "options" it's enabled, what is wrong?

I always keep Firefox up-to-date, so the latest upgrade to 8.0.1 should have been the same as all the others - i.e. no visible change in style or performance. BUT...now it fails to fully open even the most basic of websites, so I have had to go for another browser just to visit online shopping stores - amazon, argos etc. Pictures do not load, pages stop loading half-way and just hang - sometimes pressing F5 works, most times not. No user changes have been made so why this version of Firefox is so slow beats me!

Information by Norton Security, that RadioWMPCoreGecko 5.dll is safe. The installation started without any hesitation and -even worse - without asking my permission although my settings require this.
