Whenever I type a website in the address bar it also comes as a search in bearshare. How do i remove bearshare web search. I have removed everything possible

Randomly, but quite often, when I open a new page (whether through a link, a bookmark, typing an URL in the address bar, etc.), I'll get a 'Server not found' message, or the page will load, but not properly. Refreshing it fixes it, though it often requires that I hit Refresh several times. It has been happening more and more lately, and it's getting very annoying.

When I open firefox it uses 44,~~~k Memory with all addons working,when I watch live streams on www.justin.tv it goes up to 70,000k - 80,000k after few hours firefox uses 130,~~~k-140,~~~k memory even if I don't watch anything on any site,just stay at google.But when I restart firefox it goes back to using 44,~~~k memory.I have tried running firefox in safe mode and it used a little less memory,but it still got high after a while.Add-ons I'm using:AdBlock Plus,AnyColor,BetterPrivacy,Firebug and iMacros.Is this normal at all?

I've looked into this, but it's not the redirect virus that sends to to a different spam site, and it doesn't happen when I refresh or open a new tab myself. Every 15 minutes to hour Firefox opens a new tab by itself sending me to a spam site(most common: Earn a living online ads and those sites that have a pop up asking if you really want to leave). I'm not sure what's causing this, and my AVG isn't detecting anything. Please help, thank you!

I have noticed recently that Firefox is taking upwards of 20sec. to load pages and often cannot find the server(I have to reload the page). I did not realize how low it had gotten until I start using safari and it seemed so fast in comparison. Does anyone know what is going on? Also, I have read a DIY fix on another conversation which states to fix the problem "To disable OCSP go to about:config from firefox and change security.OCSP.enabled to be 0. " Is this the fix? and is it safe? Does mozilla field any of these questions or is it all user help?

I am facing this prob for the last few days...It says firefox encountered a prob and needs to close down....After a lot of findings I came to know that it was due to Adobe Flash Player ...when this plug-in is enabled and i visit video sites firefox crashes, but if I disable this plug-in firefox doesnt crash.....Please Help... I dont want to switch to other Browsers..:(

I have a lot of plugins and extensions and sometimes I don't know which stuff I need/use all the time and which ones I don't use and could be slowing down FF. Could you please go through my plugins and stuff and see which ones you think are unnecessary and why/what it would be used for/what it does - if you know - and how to not only disable them but uninstall too, if necessary. I'll post my most recent crash just in case. It was several days ago - the 18th. It crashes only once in a while. I've kinda been considering Chrome recently; I hope this fixes it. I tried clearing my cookies too, just in case - which I think is shown in the Troubleshooting Info, I think.

Occasionally when I have multiple tabs open in firefox, I find myself unable to close individual tabs when I'm finished browsing the particular page. I click the X and nothing happens. It doesn't happen too often, but it's kind of annoying when it does.

I have the Google Update 1.2.183.23 plugin but I don't know how to delete the file. The best I've been able to do is disable it.

Does firefox 3.6.3 have a plug-in? I read in Facebook that they do not support FF plugins. Firefox is my default browser. I also have IE7 to use when I need to. I tried to install Zynga game bar in IE 7 and it worked. There must be some little thing I am missing with getting Firefox to install game bar. I had no struggle to install in IE 7 - it went smoothly. I want to have this on FF browser as it is my favourite.

Before I start Fire Fox I open the Task Manager to make sure no other copies of Fire Fox are running. When I click on the short cut there is a pause of about 1 second then this message appears. "The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again." I checked your FAQs where this problem showed up many times. I saw not solutions there. Where can I go to get an answer other than the usual remarks. Of course Fire Fox starts up immediately after the error message.

Error message after ~1/3 of the way through video: the video you requested is being blocked by an ad blocker installed on your browser. I do not see how to fix this. I looked for any kind of ad blocker control in preferences and in tools but cannot find anything. Please help! ps This is new. I watch videos on cbs.com all the time and this just started happening.

i was editing my web page to make firefox meet my needs and i must have pressed the wrong button and now i can't edit my page, look at my bookmarks or clear history. This has been very frustrating to figure how to get it back on.

When I open up Mozilla Firefox the home page has been changed from "comcast.net" to "http://home.mywebsearch.com/index... Is this from Firefox? What happened to my homepage? What is this page, and how do I go back to the home page comcast.net? Who is "Mindspark" since it says it's the owner of the site when I click for more details. It says if you want to uninstall this just go to the "start" menu, "control panel" and "add/remove program" and select "MyWebSearch Bar" but this is not listed to add or remove. Can you tell me what happened and how to get my home page back? Thank you.

Firefox will not shut down properly, requiring shut down through the Windows Task Master box. I've seen a "fix" for this problem indicating that we should just shut it down every time through the Task master box, but to me this isn't a FIX its just a "go around". Why can't tech support fix the problem with the application?
