Why would hotmail allow me to attach photos and files while using MS Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox? I was able to do this in Firefox only a few days ago, but not today.

Firefox keeps "helpfully" telling me it is preventing pages from automatically reloading. On some pages I have to tell it "allow" 5 or 6 times, and I can't do what I want to do - answer a survey for instance. Everything takes 5 times as long as it should - and I don't know how to stop it! I have asked this before but no one answered. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having error : ssl_error_ssl_disabled. It does not have any options that I can fix for myself.

My home page is msn.com, I select hotmail and a new window appears, however it is missing the navigation bar. I reset my toolbars, I entered safe mode and reset them, I disabled add-ons but nothing restores them. When I exit hotmail that window still does not have the navigation bar. I updated firefox and still nothing. I'm running 3.6.8. It seems to relate to the hotmail selection

Is there a setting that makes the computer automatically fill in my name, address, email address, etc. when I'm filling out forms, like in other browsers I've used?

I have two pages bookmarked i use nearly every day and there haven't been any problems. however, yesterday i started them up, and found they wouldn't load. this has happened many times before so i wasn't particularly worried about it. then i tried it again today and it was still down, again not particularly worried. then i tried it again and it still wouldn't work, at this point i got a little ticked i couldn't read my messages. so ive tried as many things i can think of, but it still wont work.

Whenever I bring up a site that has a phone number on it, the number flickers for about 1 second and then disappears off the screen - even the line the phone number is on disappears. How do I fix this.

i signed up for the new york times digital subscription on 28 march, then a few days later was told my account was canceled for nonpayment. according to customer service, my account is in good standing. but now when i try to access an article, i'm told i've already used my 20/month and wants me to pay again.

i cleared the cookies and browsing history; tech support reset my password, but i still can't get access on firefox. no problems with internet explorer.

When use FF 3.0.10 or FF 3.6.8, not able to bring up or load search results images [such as JPG, TIFF, GIF, etc.], such as in News section of Yahoo home page, some Google search results, PBS home page, etc. What settings and/or configurations and/or plug-ins and/or add-ins and/or other programs should be used to allow images to load from web sites ? Using Trend AntiVirus AntiSpyware and ZoneAlarm firewall programs on WIN XP system.

HP Laptop crashed Internet Explorer. I'm on a Gateway Professional box, which has Firefox. Since cannot access Net with laptop can I download Firefox to disk on box and load on laptop. Laptop is Vista, Box is XP

FF 3.0.10 avoids cookies very effectively when enable cookies box is unchecked. FF 3.6.8 does not have ability to avoid cookies when enable cookies box is unchecked. Web sites are able to over-ride unchecked cookies setting, and insert cookies in unlimited fashion. Are FF 3.6.7 through FF 3.6.10 able to avoid this cookie over-ride process by these visited web sites ? What is reason for this vulnerability open door in FF 3.6.8 ? Running on WIN XP system. When use FF 3.0.10 to go to same sites, there is no problem with cookies control. Thank you for your help.

On some sites that have been used before I suddenly cannot enter data into some fiels. Its like they are protected. Typically this is the numerics of a banking transaction, like credit card or security code data. No the Num Lock is not off!

Have anyone else seen this?

IS there a feature in Firefox to prevent access to certain input fields under certain conditions?

In response to the above, I click "get the upgrade" and on the new page first click version 3.6..13, which I request to be saved and am told I already have it. I click replace. I reopen Firefox and again get the same message. I attempt to download 4beta (which like e.6.13 then shows up in the Application folder), but when I reopen Firefox I still get the above message and the "About Firefox" on the Firefox toolbar pull down still tells me that I am still using 3.0.10.

I recently gave in and upgraded to the latest Firefox (3.6.3 specifically) after ages stubbornly sticking to Firefox 3.0. All in all upgrade has gone well. However, lately I find that the history button next to the url bar randomly disappears. It's easily restored by clicking "customize" on the navigation bar, but the fact this happens every few days has me somewhat flummoxed. Anyone have any ideas why this would be happening?

one secure website loads painfully slow (7 minutes !). Only this site. How can I streamline firefox to load these pages faster? This started happening only after I switched from McAffee to Norton Security Suite. Other secure sites load just fine.
