On 1 July Mozilla generated an automatic update. Immediately after, I received the message"proxy server is refusing connections." I am unable to get online on my computer. How can this problem be solved?

When I click on my firefox to go online it takes me to inbox.com I hate it, I have no use for it, and I need to get rid of it but I don't know how. I just want a firefox or internet explorer or google as a homepage. I already got rid of the other unwanted toolbars but I can't figure out how to get rid of this one. I downloaded Google chrome and also the new version of Firefox already but it still just goes to Inbox.com. It's starting to make me mad even though I'm sure there's an easy solution.

When I go to History in the Tool Bar I can go to Show All History and delete what is there, but even after deleted, if I click on Recently Closed Tabs, some websites visited will still be there, and I don't necessarily what anyone else tha might be using my desktop or laptop to view them. It's a privacy issue, don't you know. I have tried for three days noe and haven't found a way to get rid of them even if I delete all cookies.

I have been running Firefox for over a year. This is on an HP laptop running Vista. This passed weekend, I got a message saying Firefox could not open a website. I closed the browser and shut down the computer. When I tried to restart Firefox the following day, I kept getting errors saying it could not open. I was short on time so I had to use MS explorer. This morning since I had more time I figured I would try to get it working. When I double click on the icon, I get the hourglass for a few seconds, but nothing happens. I went to Windows "Installed Programs" to see if there was a "repair" option but it will only let me uninstall. I do not want to lose all of my bookmarks, passwords etc.

I can still use Internet Explorer to download if I need to.

Why would hotmail allow me to attach photos and files while using MS Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox? I was able to do this in Firefox only a few days ago, but not today.

When i start firefox it takes forever to load, sometimes it doesnt even load up my default site, it should load up www.google.com but instead it loads www.ask.com. The reason why is because the browser isnt working correctly. When I try to view any website, or search on Google it takes forever for something to happen, and 95% of the time the whole browser almost turns completely WHITE, then at the top of the browser it says "Not Responding". I have to continue to close the browser and start a new session but it does the same thing.

I have no or extensions, nothing at all.

Whats going on? I never had problems with Firefox, what is going on?

Over the last few days Gmail has begun malfunctioning. The buttons (forward, move etc.) have stopped working, and when attempting to reply to messages the error 'cannot load rich text editor' appears. This fault is duplicated on two separate macs and does not appear in Safari.

i got on internet explorer and check facebook and they said that facebook was not supporting this new Firefox. i hate internet explorer.. and i was happy with firefox.. but i can't have it if it wont let me on facebook. i do a lot of my business there.

I recently installed Firefox, and when I open the google firefox homepage, the language is in arabic, and I don't see the option of English anywhere on the page.. So please tell me how can I turn it into English ..

I used to have a back and forward arrow, an X to stop something and a refresh sign on the second line at the top of the screen and box with the link I was on shown so you could copy and paste it. Those features are no longer there.

Have tried 4 times to download Firefox 4 and each time it seems to be working OK, but when I go to move the firefox symbol onto the Application symbol, the firefox symbol has an X in an O indicating that it won't work and doesn't. Note says that the architecture won't support the new download. Can I get the update and if so, how? Dave Morrison

recently every time I use google maps firefox crashes. This never happened before a couple weeks ago. It is every time now. I have version 3.0.19 and have had it for some time now.
