I try to get a addon and I only get this:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect

securely to services.addons.mozilla.org, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,

sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

         What Should I Do?

           If you usually connect to

this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

services.addons.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

I try your automatic trouble shooter and it says this:

Connection failure

I have random crashes with FF while browsing various websites. It can crash when switching websites or even when not even moving the mouse.

I think I may have an incompatible plugin somewhere. Can anyone offer some advice?

I have an intermittent problem that text displayed on a web-page is over-written by grey and sometimes coloured smudges and lines that prevent the text from being read. The smudges and lines can diappear dependuing on movement of the mouse, but they also come back again with further movement.

For example, this problem occurred when I followed the instructions for installing the Troubleshooter add-on.

I also have several problems with Firefox 18.0.2 freezing when running on Ubuntu 12.10.

After updating Firefox, the browser is for some odd reason no longer loading stylesheets properly. I am a web developer and have been using Firefox as my main development browser for the past 4 months or so (used to use Chrome). As of the update, none of my pages are working properly anymore, INCLUDING a site that has been online and unchanged since before the update. I thought the issue was with my own code until I found that the online (unchanged) version was also experiencing the same issues.

In looking at FireBug (in the Net panel), I found that ALL requests for CSS files result in a status of "Aborted". This includes a stylesheet loading from my own server, as well as stylesheets loading from LeafletJS and YouTube CDNs. I highly doubt all of these servers would all of a sudden become problematic, and as such I'm more or less 100% sure that the Firefox 18.0.2 update introduced a major bug that breaks websites.

I have a screenshot of my FireBug net panel, and will try to add it to this post after I post it.

I am not entirely sure why this has been happening but I have tried to solve this issue for a while now. I am unable to log in into my email because the message "The Connection is Untrusted" does not allow me to add an exception. This has been happening to a variety of Websites, however, for some of them I was able to add an exception. More importantly (i wish i was able to include screenshots), the view of for instance this window or Facebook is altered and showed without images but only with blue-regular words. This happens repeatedly.

Re-installation of this program as well reset throughout Troubleshooting seems not to work nor does the update of the Adobe Flash Player. I have never had any problems with a great product such as Firefox but all of the sudden I am lost. I would appreciate any help from you guys because I would like to keep using this product.

Thank You,

Dave

I go on pokerstars poker school, and when I try to do their tests the cards don't show. I have to drag the cursor over the spot where they should be to find out what they are. The same thing happens on a game I play; none of the code options show, as well as other graphics.

I have legacy plugins that need to stay enabled. I've learned you can disable checking the blocklist with extensions.blocklist.enabled, but this doesn't re-enable plugins that were previously disabled.

Is it possible to enable specific plugins in a way that can be deployed to a large organization?

When I restart PC I am told that PC was shutdown to protect it.

I am told to look for (and then remove) any second anti-virus program (that may be conflicting with Norton Anti-Virus).

I have searched and found no other anti-virus program.

This intermitten problem has been ongoing for several months.

This problem only occurs when I start Firefox.
