The pop up appears with every new tab. It has an extremely small delete "X" icon if you can find it...The pop up interferes visually with every tab and must be carefully manually deleted each time. It is always located in the lower left bottom of the screen. It is a window about 3 inches square. It began last week with an automatic download. I want it removed or I will be swiftly returning to Explorer or perhaps Google Chrome...Thanking you in advance

Recently, the reload icon stopped working on some websites. When the cursor arrow is placed over the reload icon, it flashes. I've read the fixes, and non of them work. I have restarted in save mode, removed cookies, cleared cache, reset Firefox. None of that works. Running XP and Firefox 16.0.2. Two of the sites that won't reload are: http://finance.yahoo.com/ and http://www.nytimes.com/

Just give me the Windows 7 filepath to the Mozilla Firefox folder that contains the thumbnails and information that belong to the "New Tab" (+) button in Firefox. I DO NOT want an answer that just tells me to clear my cache, cookies, history, offline website data, etc. I have already done that, and that is NOT what I need, because clearing everything erases things that I DO need. I will filter through and delete these items myself, I am not an idiot.

Some websites keep asking to enable cookies in my browser when they are and I can't get this sites to see that, they worked fine yesterday but not now. I've restarted the browser, restarted the computer, disabled then enabled cookies in the privacy settings and still nothing. Any help?

I put in a few words in my search engine bar that have nothing to do with sex, yet a string of pornographic videos come up in my search results. This happens almost every time I look something up. I want to get rid of them and keep them from coming up. What do I do?

I have new Dell XPS 27-inch machines at home and the office. Ubuntu did not succeed, so I am running Windows 7. I have firefox on both, though I am not sure it is the same version of firefox (it looks the same). At home, Tools-Options-Content enables me to change the font in which I view my homepage, which has no font set. At the office, the same Tools-Options-Content-Fonts&Colors operation allows me to select a font but produces no effect whatsoever when I click on OK.

I'm trying to play an audio clip on a website. The site shows that the clip is playing, but I have no sound. My speakers are on and none of my volume mixers are muted. I played a clip from a different website and had sound. I spoke with Customer Service for the website where I'm not getting sound, and they tried playing the same clip on their computer, using Firefox, and it played the sound. I also tried playing a different clip on the same website, but again didn't have sound.

I....Like so many other people I've been reading about, somehow ended up on the beta channel with an update I do not want. I was running version 16 (my choice) and ended up with version 20. I want to get off the beta channel and stay off so that I can update when I choose to do so and not when Mozilla wants me to. So any instructions on how to go about doing that would be greatly appreciated. I do see other posts with the same issue and I guess I can follow those instructions but I figured maybe the instructions for my specific situation or OS I'm running or whatever the case may be might make the steps required to do this different from other posts I've been reading. Part of the solution I see others posting about is to uninstall and do a clean reinstall of a release version. My big concern in doing this is add-ons. I have a ton. Ad-Block, Auto Pager, milewideback, Stylish, etc., etc., etc. Are these going to all be there and still be installed and configured the same way after I uninstall and reinstall? I'm hoping that because they reside in the profiles folder as opposed to the program folder that the answer is "yes". Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm running Windows Vista SP2

I'd like to see all my open tabs, and the articles I read all talk about Tab Groups, etc, and that I just need to click on the Tab Button to the right of my tabs, or the Arrows located on either side of the tabs, however, I have none of those, anywhere! This is truly frustrating, and I don't know why FF doesn't have a simple dropdown window that will list all open tabs. I also don't understand why the dropdown window showing all the open windows are in no particular order, and alphabetical order would sure make a lot of sense. Who thinks of these things.....?

.gpx and .gdb files are associated with Garmin MapSource. They open fine in Windows and even I file downloaded and displayed in the FF d/l manager window can be opened with double-clicking. Some time ago clicking on a .gpx d/l link displayed giberish (XML content) in FF instead of opening the file. Since about yesterday the same happens with .gdb files. Since FF doesn't give me a d/l prompt I can't find a way to associate an action with these file types.

This problem just started when I start up Mozilla fire fox it opens 2 sessions or something the first one has my tabs form the previous session the other one is blank except for the 2nd window only has add on information, but when I try to close the second window it automatically closes the whole thing and I have to start all over again, what can I do

I want to download Flash player i save it to computer but the download stops at 99 i reinstall window and delete all files ,i have no antivirus,i have zero security firewall is turned off all files of other format can be downloaded easily but some .exe files stops at 99.PLease help SORRY for my english . i am pakistani
