I have spent days trying to get Netflix to work on Firefox, and hate Safari, but it works there.. Spent an hour with applecare looking at my computer, and they said that it must be firefox.. I have installed and unenstalled silverlightplugin, (it doesn't show as a plugin on Firefox plugin list, but it is installed in hard drive) I keep getting the message, "Just one minute more to watch movie, download silverlight plugin, I am on a MacBook pro, and am ready to give up Firefox if this cannot be fixed. I have talked to Microsoft, and they don't support macs except for their download that I am all too familiar with!!

Hello, well up until Firefox version 13 when i had multiple tabs open and i closed Firefox i received the option to save the tabs and quit or just quit without saving. So if i clicked to save the tabs and quit then when i opened Firefox again it would restore the last tabs i had opened. I never had a problem with this until my Firefox updated to version 14.0.1 yesterday. I STILL get the message if i want to save my tabs. The problem is that i click save and quit but when i open Firefox again they don't restore at all. It just opens with one tab on the homepage. If you need any more information let me know!

I want to go back to firefox 13 because Kaspersky virtual keyboard stopped working. I've done an internet search and it looks like that functionality is not yet available on firefox 14. Where can I download firefox 13?

I updated to Firefox 14.0.1 and gmail will not open. Have been trying for several hours since the update. Other google sites work fine and I am able to open gmail with Safari, which makes me believe it is a firefox update issue.

With the new plugin click to play setting set to true, clicking the full screen or larger window box for a YouTube video does nothing. If I set it back to false, those controls work. Something about that setting is messing up YouTube video controls.

there is no babylon plug-in or add-on installed in my firefox when ever i open a new tap babylon seach loads:

Since I updated to firefox 14, it started using WAY too much memory, which is 2GB+. This has never happened to me, and none of the solutions on the website have helped me. It starts off normally at about 80 MBs and then starts growing and growing. I have to restart firefox about twice an hour or more.

I'm running firefox 14.0.1 on Windows 7 64 bit, every time I try to play video from the website channel 4od firefox freezes. I have made sure that adobe flash and flash plugin are upto date to no avail. Can anybody help. Thanks.

Windows 7 Firefox 14, Thunderbird 13 Intel i7, 8g ram Wireless 12 mbps connection on home router No new software loaded by user I do not load unnecessary BS like toolbars, or allow software to be loaded from websites or unknown sources. MS Security Essentials is and always has been updated, and does not report malware, spyware, or virus'. Attempted to reset Firefox with no effect. Set Firefox to 'No Proxy' with no effect. Reset modem/router with no effect. Rebooted Windows 7 with no effect. Local activity (viewing pictures, Word, Quicken) runs normal and instantaneous.

No issues while using Cox connection in Las Vegas, but after transferring concerned laptop to new locale - Denver, CO - everything slowed to a near stand still - ~4 minutes to load a page, no matter the the website. This happens on Firefox, IE, and Thunderbird. The broadband modem and router appear to be working correctly as other Windows-based and Mac-based computers, iPads, iPhones, and Android phones work normally. CPU, RAM, and disk resources are the same as before issue occurred, and appear normal. This issue also occurs when starting Firefox 14 in safe mode.

Firefox 14 is slow after waking up from sleeping. Symptoms: responses to scrolling, pointing & clicking (including close 'X') and tab switching delayed. scrolling not responsive, instead 'jumps' in large chunks. Resolution: close and re-launch Firefox.

Websites that I visit on a regular basis- yahoo and other sites- are suddenly accompanied with a gray global icon. I clicked on it to see what it meant since I have never encountered it before and it says - Your connection to this website is not encrypted. Can and how to do I fix this?

I have been having hangs, Freeze ups and crashes which are way too frequent to not be some sort of bug. Based on my observation, I think it is related to Flash in some way. Heavy restart crashes are at websites which have lots of Flash items on those pages. However, not all crashes or freezes are caused by flash as I have had a crash and long term freeze at a very basic website that was pretty much nothing but text. Freeze ups are 1 to 6 minutes. Most of the time, after a freeze up I get a crash notice and button asking me to send a crash report which I always do. But the frequency of these issues is getting worse and the length of time of the freeze up or crash period where I can not click on anything or try to get back to desktop is getting longer. Need work around or something as this issue is getting out of hand.

I've seen quite a few threads about this on here, and I'm now wondering if this actually ought to be reported as a bug...

I've always liked Firefox's better privacy options compared to other browsers, but this particular issue kind of renders them useless.

If I go to Tools>Clear Recent History>Everything (with ALL boxes checked) this does not have any effect whatsoever on the list of recently closed tabs & windows.

ie, If I then go to History>Recently Closed Tabs> all the previous sites I have visited are still there, despite having cleared "everything" from history.

Other threads I've seen on this topic, replies often suggest fiddling with settings in about:config or deleting/renaming sessionstore files...

Does anyone know of a more straightforward way to *actually* clear all browsing history?

Having an option to clear everything from the history is pretty useless if the next person using the computer can simply look at the 'recently closed windows' list and immediately see the sites you've been reading..

Before upgrade to 14.01 happened, I could have any html file containing links and it would happily get imported into Firefox bookmarks.

Now Firefox is only importing html files generated through export from Firefox itself.
