Having trouble with firefox crashing almost every 5 minutes. Only seems to have started since updating to version 11. Crashes still occur in safe mode. Not sure what is causing it. Any advice?

Windows users keep getting prompted about java version being insecure and are advised to disable the plugin. They then complain that java based websites no longer work. Can I disable / prevent this warning feature. And can I re-enable java plugin via command line or script? I need to do this on a large scale and various versions of firefox. Right now I will need to abandon firefox if I cannot easily resolve this. Yes I realize updating to latest version of java is a solution... but this will take too much time now and how long before another security fix for java and then I will have to update yet again.

Firefox 11 crashed regularly on Linux UBUNTU 10.04.3. It does so whenever I click a link, download, and/or attempt to do anything complex. I restart, and then it works. There is something unstable in the present build ..

In HongKong firefox didn't support this link with error.

I constantly get this error message "Plugin container for Firefox has stopped working". I tried updating all addons, then disabling some, but it didn't work. Yesterday I reinstalled Firefox and didn't install any addons, but today I keep getting the message again. The fault module is always "StackHash_2264".

"For your safety firefox has disabled outdated version of Java" ?? what the hell is this about? I have installed JRE 6 ver.31 both 32 and 64 bit version yet this foolish, admonishment, warning never goes away..!!

Is firefox 11.0 for windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit? If 64-bit - as it appears to be - is there anyway to either force it to run in 32-bit mode, or fall back to an earlier windows-compatible 32-bit version? Thanks.

Hi, I have a problem with firefox 11 and jre 1.6.0_31, if you open a page (using window.open) and this page contains a signed applet embedded, the object window.opener refers to the self page, but if this page doesn't have an applet, the window.opener refers to the correct page.

This works fine on IExplorer 9 and jre 1.6.0_31 or firefox 10 with jre 1.6.0_29 and with older versions of firefox.

Clearly I can't click "I understand the risks" -- the option is just not available on that page. I've also checked my system clock and the date/time is correct. Please help!

Hi...I'm having a lot of issues recently with Google Music. (FF v. 11)

Initially the problems started last week. I suspect Google changed something in their codes as many of their programs (music, offers) suddenly stopped working. I discovered if I unblocked the tracker "Google Analytics" that I had blocked (through Ghostery extension), it started working again. All was well for a few days.

Now, suddenly....it is once again not working even though Analytics is unblocked. Now, one thing that did happen in the interim is that Microsoft released a slew of security updates which affected both my XP desktop and Vista laptop, both of which run FF 11.

Whatever went wrong, though, it only affects FIREFOX. Internet Explorer plays it just fine. Music works no problem. Offers works no problem.

So the question is ....what else going on here?

Fire Fox was running great, and then for some reason, it starting runnning extremely slow. When I type it is slow to appear on the screen, ads from websites are jerky, and even the circle spins slowly for every web load/refresh. I went as far as uninstalling Fire Fox to include favorites and associated data, re-downloading and installing. This did not help either. I had to use IE to even ask for help, its that bad. AVG Virus scan and AVG PC tune up fixed problems and several reboots did not help. Did not crash. Please help, I dont like IE.

After firefox 11.0 or Nightly (most recent version) returns search results and I click on a link, I am often redirected to a site called happili.com

I ran malwarebytes which is the one I use along with AVG Professional and problem still happened.

When I contacted malwarebytes support this is what they said:

"Fully uninstall Firefox and all user profiles, this has been found to be an add on in Firefox profiles."

So is this a Firefox problem and does this mean we should not use Firefox?

When I sign into my facebook, the page just loads text and numbers. I can't do anything on the page. The browser bar says that facebook is encrypted. My other family members can sign into theirs with no problems.

I want this turned off it doesn't look too great on some images and would prefer the old default. Uncentering it would also be nice to know how to do. http://prntscr.com/5xams

I have been using firefox 11 for almost a month and today is the first time I have encountered the following problem.

I have enough tabs open so that the scroll arrows come up on the tab bar, but when I scroll left it only goes up to the second tab (keeping the first tab hidden) and any new tab I open doesn't appear in the bar as it won't scroll all the way right either. The tabs do exist, because in the drop down list of tabs they are there. That is the only way I can currently access the "invisible" tabs and the only way I can close them is Ctrl-W. All the visible tabs work fine.

I am currently running the Firefox 11.0, which is the most up-to-date version as of this writing. Every time I open a PDF file, it says that "Adobe Acrobat plugin has crashed". I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, which came as part of my school's standard software package. The Mozilla website says I have the most up-to-date version of the Acrobat plugin.

P.S. I recently updated my version of Adobe Reader X to try to fix the problem, but that didn't work. I'm not entirely sure how Reader is related to Acrobat, so I don't know if that would affect my ability to read PDFs in Firefox.

Trying to install Silverlight 5.0 on Firefox 11.0 (Mac OSX Lion). No matter how many times I try to install it (having uninstalled using MacKeeper), I still get the same message telling me I need to install it.

Has anyone else had this issue and knows how to solve it please?
