I like to have a number of tabs open each time I use Firefox and have configured it accordingly. I have also configured the toolbar to use Google.

From time to time Firefox terminates abnormally (e.g. if the PC crashes) and then I lose all my tabs plus the toolbar has an extra line to use babylon search.

Is it possible for me to save information about all of my tabs in a backup file of my choosing so that I can restore the settings manually? What file does it have to be copied into to restore?

The babylon problem is less pressing as it is easy to lose that line - but it is still annoying.

Somehow my firefox started showing some "yandex toolbar" on it's right. There are no settings I could find to get rid of it. I even searched regedit for the "yandex" word, but could not find anything - they probably coded their name...

Firefox 4 does not show the "organize bookmarks" option when clicking on Bookmarks. I want to manually backup my bookmarks and could migrate to "backup" from "organize bookmarks" on the earlier versions of Firefox. How can I manually backup my bookmarks on Firefox 4?

When I go to History in the Tool Bar I can go to Show All History and delete what is there, but even after deleted, if I click on Recently Closed Tabs, some websites visited will still be there, and I don't necessarily what anyone else tha might be using my desktop or laptop to view them. It's a privacy issue, don't you know. I have tried for three days noe and haven't found a way to get rid of them even if I delete all cookies.

After booting up this morning, my Firefox homepage had changed to search.imesh.com and I have been unable to change it back. When I attempt to do so, I get a message from the tray area saying that an attempt to change the homepage has been blocked. How do I get rid of this. I believe there may have been an update from RealPlayer last evening.

I was copying a picture to put on facebook, and somewhere there was a box I could check (which I did) that said something about not attaching something to images. Since then, nobody's profile pics show on Facebook when in Firefox; however, in IE7, everything on Facebook shows as it should. Anyone know what I may have done? How do I get back to that same place and uncheck that box and get my pics back? Images show on websites, but not profile pics on Facebook.

Firefox just auto installed 5, eliminating 4 - during the process, a Window appeared advising that the Firefox 5 does not support the Norton security nor toolbars, but said to click for a search. I did and was instructed Firefox cannot find a solution. The problem is that all my user names and passwords have disappeared into Firefox heaven (or hell) - Question, Can I backtrack, uninstall 5 and recover 4, so that I can reinstate the Norton 360 security tool bar? I look forward to receiving an answer ASAP. thank you, Michael chang

I upgraded my firefox browser and since the upgrade I cannot find or reinstall my bookmarks toolbar. I have tried reinstalling firefox but nothing has brought it back.

FIREFOX 3.6.3, IDK if this is an update from what I had but it used to be on firefox I could block 3rd party cookies, now, even though I have found directions about how to do it, those choices are not showing up on my computer and so every cookie under the sun is being added and slowing down my computer among other things. i'm using o.s. 10.4.11 TIGER

I have just switched from Google Chrome to Firefox. No I want to export all the history, cookies, bookmarks and that kind of stuff from Chrome, into Firefox.

I have allready done this with the bookmarks but that aint sufficient for me. I want it all so I do not have to re-enter all my passwords and more like that.

My computer is being scanned after I use it. This person has discovered that Recently Closed Tabs & Recently Closed Windows leaves a trail of the sites that I have visited. I would like to delete this trail but have not discovered how I should do it.

I want to know how to get back deleted history while deleting permanently... I missed my some sites and I deleted from history also and I want to get back it.. How can I get it.. Please help me...

Do you have ratings that help you control the internet content, that can be viewed on this computer similar to what you have on INTERNET EXPLORER. EG. One could set the levels on the content being watched like violence, nudity, sex etc as low, medium, high OR on a scale from 1 to 9. And then lock it with a password so that children don't alter the existing setting. THANK YOU.

(This issue has been ongoing for several versions now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried safe mode.)

The right click menu, within the menu bar drop down menus, disappears as soon as I move the mouse. Making it impossible to select anything from it.

For example: I click "Bookmarks" in the menu bar and get a drop down window of all my bookmarks. I then mouse over a bookmark and right click to get the drop down menu that will let me "Open", "Open in new Window", "Open in new Tab", etc... As soon as I move the mouse, this menu disappears. I cannot mouse over it to make a selection.

If I don't move the mouse I can use the arrow keys to make a selection and then hit enter.
