I have already synced my bookmarks from one Phone (it had to be replaced be cause of a defect) to my Desktop, but i can not get those bookmarks from the desktop to show up on my new Phone. How can i fix this?

Besides being a nuisance, I think all these unsorted bookmarks are slowing down Firefox, particularly the Bookmarks toolbar, considerably. How can I remove them? I've started using Chrome because any time I try to use my Bookmarks Library or Sidebar, the whole thing locks up because of these unsorted bookmarks.

I have Sync, and this problem is universal across all of my sync'ed computers - XP, Vista, and Windows 8. All are running the latest version of Firefox. This has been a problem for over a year, and at least 4 different versions of Firefox.

This is a new PC running Windows 7 and iGoogle is my home page. My desktop short cut icons used to have "personalised" pics but after a day or two using the new PC they all changed to either the Firefox logo or a little map of the world. Why did this happen and how do I get the old logos back? I have a screen shot saved on my desktop if anyone wants to see it.

When I start up firefox, the original window displays my bookmark toolbar. But when I click a link where firefox opens a new window, not a new tab, the new window doesn't display my bookmark toolbar. I made sure that it was toggled to be on, and the original window has it, but the new one does not. I don't know how to fix it and it's really irritating because I use the toolbar a lot.

Searching FF Bookmarks does not include results from Keyword or Description Field. Only searches Tags. Seams like this defeats the whole purpose of having a keyword field.

FF20 - addon Advanced Bookmarks Search is not available for 20.

This morning I opened firefox as usual and found that a sidebar for bookmarks on the left side of this page. I did not request this to open and I want it removed from my computer. I do not like the way it uses up the space on the page. I have tried to open firefox in safe mode but his did not clear it. If I can not remove this sidebar I will want to close firefox.

I have created several bookmark folders and would like to replace the default file folder logos with a custom one. As an example I have a folder called BMW and would like to install the official BMW logo.Where do I find one and what do I do next? Best Regards, Dave.

I have Windows 7 and Firefox 18.0.1 -- I did a Windows "Restore your computer to an earlier time", which I have done before with no trouble. This time, however, though I kept all my desktop shortcuts and IE toolbar icons, I lost ALL my Firefox toolbar icons and everything in my bookmark dropdown menu. Is it possible to restore them, and if so, how? I've looked through the Firefox support section, but don't know which (if any) of the solutions would apply to my situation. Thanks.

I want to clear this list completely and allow it to repopulate based on my browsing going forward.

But no matter how many entries I delete using the History menu, it keeps refilling with old sites.

How do I empty it??

when we press show all bookmarks The Library box came out but no bookmark is shown at all

there is bookmars toolbar bookmarks menu etc... But no actual bookmarks and cant open any of the option provided

I have deleted my Firefox sync account, but the already-synced bookmarks remain on my Android. I can't find a way to delete them, except individually, which would take me an hour. Help!

I had to format my drive and reinstall everything, but I saved my bookmarks on a usb drive. Itried importing from html file and it wont work. Browser 17.0.1

I've just installed FF and have run the Import app twice. It keeps reporting success; but I keep getting an empty IE folder in Bookmarks. Who's the goof, me or the fox? :-( Thanks.

I am reading about live bookmarks in Mozilla. Is this a feature I have to install? If so, how do I do it? I want to subscribe to an RSS newsfeed and it requires it.

When I downloaded, I also choose to import bookmarks from IE and they all appeared. When I open the bookmark icon, the "bookmark this page" command is missing so I cannot bookmark a page. Everything else appears normal. This is an old computer running XP.

When making a new bookmark, there is the ability to choose a folder in which to put the bookmark. Usually it also shows the last 5 folders which were used. Is it possible to have a search box in this dialogue, so that I can search the bookmark folders which I have, and once it shows up in the options, I can store the bookmark in that folder. This would save me from having to open the full bookmark folders list and then scrolling down to the appropriate folder - which are not alphabetically arranged and less used folders might not be easy to find. Any add-on helps in doing this ?
