This seems to be a common problem. Firefox fails to open PDF files. It just shows a blank white screen. The common solution is to shut off the Adobe Reader add-on. Well, it didn't work for me. PDF is still not loading.

RealJukebox NS Plugin, RealPlayer Version Plugin 6.0.12.1662, and Realplayer G2 Live Connect-Enabled Plugin are listed among my plugins but I don't know how they got there. When I check my plug-ins for updates they say 'Research', so I don't know whether they're outdated.There is no button to uninstall them, and when I click on the disable button, they appear to be disabled but next time I open Firefox they are enabled again.

Firefox "knows" about a number of plugins. By what means can a plugin become known to Firefox and have automated updating?

I could understand (not like) the fact that Microsoft might not be eager to make their products any easier to use with Firefox. But, I would think that Google and Real Networks would.

Firefox tells me I need to manual install a plug-in for Windows Media Player but when it takes me to the plug-in it is only for Windows Vista and earlier Windows versions. Should I install that plug-in or just not bother, as for some reason the content plays anyway?

Type something into the search box, you start to get suggestions in the drop down. You click on the drop down suggestion and nothing happens. You must type the entire search into the search box for it to stick. I reverted to 3.*** until this is corrected.

First Firefox was working, but now every time I try to open it I get this message:

First I get a message that says: non responsive script on page with the options to continue or stop script. Then I notice at the top of the window Mozilla Firefox(non responsive). Then when I click the "X" to exit I get the box from Microsoft Windows which says:" Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." firstly, i used aurora mozila firefox 6.a2.en US installer as my default browser aplication, with idm 6.07 installer as well as compatible after i update to be IDM CC 7.3.6 extention (enable), but after i update aurora mozila firefox in notification to 8.a2, its doesn't compatible with this version. other uncompalible extention is downloadhelper 4.9.5 , googleEnhancer 1.87 , imtranslator 4.5 , and personas rotator 2.3

Since updating to Adobe Reader 10.1.3, I noticed Firefox 11 does not display PDF files. It just shows a blank screen.

The only workaround I found is disabling the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in (ver. 10.1.3) the update installs. Firefox will prompt which application to use.Choosing Preview allows the PDFs to display correctly.

Neither Chrome or Safari exhibit this behavior, nor does Firefox 11 (Windows) with the update installed.

Has anyone else experienced this?

When I use FF 4.0b7 on my Mac I try to go to a website using flash (YouTube, Hulu, etc.) and it doesn't display anything. No video, nothing. But when I use FF 3.6.12 any website using flash works just fine! I've reinstalled Firefox and flash many times over, to no avail. Flash also works in other browsers, just not Firefox 4..

The Silverlight plugin crashes every time i try to watch a video at the Universal Sports website. I have uninstalled this plugin and re-enstalled it many times with no success

Plain and simple. An app for my university (student) which requires Java Desktop 6.0.2.9 no longer works. It's only since the install of FFox 8 and since it uses Java I can only assume the incompatibility with Java Desktop 6.0.29 is the problem.

Where can I download a copy of FFox 7 until this issue is resolved.

ChatVibes is a new plugin that is supposed to allow you to video chat on facebook. my wife invited me, so i clicked on it. now i have this stupid toolbar that i have to disable every time i turn on firefox. there is no program listed on my computer, and no addon listed in firefox.

I am attempting to watch an NFL game on channelsurfing.net. I downloaded Firefox successfully but was communicated that I will require vshare plug ins to initiate. I downloaded vshare, but was informed that it was a windows product. What next?

I am currently running Firefox 3.6.12 on Windows XP on an Acer laptop. Adobe Flash Player won't work through Firefox and sites say: "This plugin has been disabled" or "You need the latest Adobe Flash Player"-- I have updated it every time (changing the player version to "Other Browswers"). Flash has proven to work in the past but I'm not sure why it no longer does.

Also, I get this Error every time I open Firefox. I have to attempt to open Firefox 3 times in order for it to finally open because of this error:

Flash is however, working on Internet Explorer. I have tried uninstalling every Flash Player and reinstalling it for Firefox. I've resorted to enabling every video type of player on Firefox in an attempt to get videos and games working...

I have an epad signature capture pad and am working on programming my website to work with it, but I could only find an ActiveX control to use with a browser. Since FF doesn't use ActiveX I contacted the manufacturer and they said that is a custom programming issue that they do not want to mess with. Does anyone know where I could get an extension or plugin so I can use my epad with FF
