Installed Adobe Flash (AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_11au_aih.dmg) yesterday and it disabled my Theme and I cannot restore the Theme. I have tried restarting, etc. I'm using an iMac running Firefox 20.0

My issue began yesterday and I can't seem to correct the problem. Every time I open firefox i'm met with the annoying restore message, (it's not usually annoying but because it happens every time I start firefox it's really starting to bother me) even if I close all my tabs before hand, close firefox and then quit the program entirely. I can understand this happening if say, I force quit when I had tabs open, but I'm not. And that too, was never an issue before.

I'm using Firefox 20.0 on my Mac, running 10.7.5 (Lion).

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling firefox. I also deleted the sessionstore.bak and .js files. This fix worked initially, the first time I opened firefox, but hasn't worked subsequently.

Moreover, I'd rather not completely turn off the restore, if possible, because I may actually need to recover my data at some point.

I have three extensions on my browser: greasemonkey, tumblr savior and Adblock plus. I've had ABP on my browser since I bought my computer 2 years ago. Tumblr savior and greasemonkey I downloaded last night after this issue was already occuring.

I had to do an erase & reinstall on my Mac to clear up some problems. Fortunately, I have a valid Time Machine backup. How can I restore my bookmarks and extensions from the backup and avoid having to laboriously re-install them one-by-one? Thanks.

I just want the home icon there, nothing else. For some reason the ongoing download icon is up and i have no idea what pushed to display it, but I'm hoping I can remove it from the screen.

I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.7, and an iPad 2 running iOS 6.1.3. On the MAC, I have Firefox for MAC v 19.0.2 and Safari 6.0.3 On the iPad, I have only Safari for iPad. I always use Firefox as my browser for the MacBook, but there is no Firefox app for the iPad.

My Safari bookmarks automatically update from the MacBook to the iPad, but not from Firefox to the iPad. Is it possible for the automatic update to be made from Firefox instead of Safari to the iPad Safari.app? If not, is there an easy way on the MacBook to keep the Safari bookmarks up to date with the Firefox bookmarks, so that the iPad shares my Firefox bookmarks?

If not possible now, are you planning to make this possible for MAC users who also have an iPad?

I don't know if this is coincidence but I deleted 'you tube' on face book and suddenly I cant get sound on my mac on 'you tube' or 'facebook', video plays ok. Tried in 'safe mode', reset firefox and even reinstalled Firefox, no joy. I have no problem with sound on Chrome. Can anybody help?

I have had no problems with the browser until today. I'm on a Mac OSX 10.7.5 using Firefox 19.0.2.

Yesterday I used PrivacyScan like I usually do once a week and today I logged into all of my regular sites. Then I ran MacScan like I usually do. Suddenly, every time I quit Firefox and reopen it, I lose all of my logins to sites.

I don't have "Remember passwords for sites" checked because I use 1Password. In Privacy, I have "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" checked.

I've run PrivacyScan and MacScan plenty of times in the past without problems and I haven't changed any settings, so this is a complete mystery.

when i get a software update notice i click on the update button. a bar graph appears with a moving line of dashes. under the bar graph is a note saying connecting to the update server.... that never happens.

so i have been unable to install any updates even though at least 4 are available.

10 days ago gmail started locking me out of my account with this message. It's always the same sequence: I open gmail, do a few light tasks (e.g., sending a message without attachments, reviewing my sent messages, etc) and in the middle of an operation (sending or saving a message or ewhatever, doesn't matter), gmail freezes, I click on the x to leave the page and exit. When I try to re-enter I get the above message "Unusal Usage -- Account Temporarily Locked Down". Gmail won't let me in. 20 to 30 mins. later I can re-enter, and the cycle described above is repeated.

The new built-in Firefox PDF viewer won't render gradient drop-shadows created within Adobe InDesign. It replaces them with a flat gray box - no matter what shape it sits behind. Is there a fix for this problem?

I had Firefox disabled to remove malware, and then had it reinstalled. However, now the "latest headlines" does not appear on the bookmarks toolbar. How can I replace it? Thanks. I use Mac OSX Firefox 19

Mac OS 10.7.5 MacBook Pro Using Firefox 19.0.2 Cannot access any Las Vegas Hotel/Casino websites today (trying to book a room). Get a dark blank screen with a tiny white dot in the center. It shows as "aclk (GIF Image, 1x1 pixels)". I am able to see sites for example, expedia just not the actual hotel sites. I see answers for Windows but not for the Mac. I can't find any "Banner Ad Block". I don't have any problems with any other sites. This just started today. I didn't seem to have any problems yesterday accessing the hotel sites. I'm the only user on this laptop. Thanks

I have mistakenly downloaded a small 'widget' thing which claimed it could help me by downloading videos etc from websites. It is THE most irritating thing I have ever had on my computer; it pops up right in front of every single e-mail I try to type; obscuring buttons I need to use - it's a small bar which says 'Download' on it - but it is always there where there is NOTHING to download; and by contrast, it does NOT appear on sites where I might like to download a clip - e.g. Youtube & BBC iPlayer. So it is useless, but I CANNOT see how to get rid of it. I looked everywhere on my Mac; in 'widgets'; 'library' etc - cannot see it anywhere. Someone suggested it may be something I downloaded into my Firefox browser; but I cannot see it on the 'add-ons' page here either. Does anyone else know this annoying thing & how to uninstall it?
