I have set Firefox so that every time I start it, it shows the tabs from last time. However, just recently it has started with the tabs from last time plus an extra tab.

The other day I installed three addons which all required Firefox to be re-started and each time it did so, there was an extra tab so that by the end of my addon session I had three extra unasked-for tabs. Not a problem really, just an irritation that I want to stop. How can I stop this?

Until recently this did not happen and I just got the tabs from my last session unless I had closed them before shutting down Firefox. Even if I make sure that there are no new, unused tabs before shutting Firefox, I still get a new tab when I start it again.

For most of us, Firefox suffers from an insane memory leak, this can cause slow-down, and maybe even crashes. This happens mainly because when you close tabs, the RAM they took is still taxing your computer. That among other things cause this annoying leakage.

When I open a new TAB, with a lag, the new page address (http://isearch.babylon.com/?affID=120024&babsrc=NT_ss&mntrId=b06b4c1b00000000000000158315a310) and then it goes to the address (http://mystart.incredibar.com/MB131?a=6PQGKi6jIT) is the Home page of the settings tab is Blank., how can I solve the problem? your instructions.

I have a HP Pavilion desktop pc with at660a mother board and have just downloaded the latest Mozilla fire fox and now I cannot open PDF files when I am still on the web I can open then but as soon as I load into downloads on my hard drive all I get is a blank page except for borders etc but no script, incidentally this pc has never used Mozilla firefox. But when I use internet explorer it is all ok, I have Mozilla on all my other PCs and I don't have any problems but they are loaded with an earlier version when I manually try to open with Adobe reader it tells me that the file is corrupt hope you can help thank you.

I have mistakenly clicked on the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" in the download dialogue box. I want to open a pdf in adobe when I click on the link. currently the file just gets saved and I cannot change it. I have read thru the suggestions and gone into tools> options> applications and reassigned all of the pdf options to ask first and firefox still just downloads the files to somewhere. I don't want this option and I need to unselect the automatic box.

How do i do so? I would really like to talk to someone on the phone.

I would like to have 2 Firefox windows open simultaneously so that I can go from one yahoo email acct. to the other without signing out, then back in again. Is this possible ? I presently do it with firefox and explorer and I have nothing but problems with explorer.

My albine worked with the last version before I upgraded to 17. I did not save that version and would like to go back to it. I did save firefox 9 and that is what I am using now but I believe you have a later version that i could use. What was the version before 17 and where can I find it? I hate to go back to windows explorer unless I have to. You should let us know what will not work with your upgrades before we start them. Had I known Albine would not work I wouldn't have upgraded.

I've seen much later versions of Firefox than 9.0.1 on other Mac computers lately. Yet whenever I check the "About Firefox" button, it gives the message that "Firefox is up to date". I have a MacPro, Intel Core i5 running OS 10.7.3, 4 GB memory, and 128GB SSD. I wish to find a "list" somewhere of Firefox versions vs. machine and OS's, and am unwilling to blindly download and install 15.0.1 without knowing if it's OK in advance.

My question is; I would like to use swagbucks but it says it's not available in The Netherlands (I know you can't fix this), but is there some option that you can change so my country is changed. I don't have any problem with the fact that the USA uses a different kind of money. Please respond so I know I have to wait for swagbucks to become also applicable in The Netherlands. I accidently installed NoScript when trying to remove adverts/pop-ups. Now it's causing problems on various sites I regularly use and I can't get rid of it. It doesn't show up on Tools/Add- ons so I can disable and JavaScript has been disabled, even though it shows as 'Enabled'.

Help would be appreciated.

when Firefox opens a new website an alternate download information address is displayed rather than opening directly from requested site. (ie) When want to open yahoo.ca it gives in the lower info bar " transferring information from l1.yimg.com and then opens yahoo.ca. When going to other sites it always gives a strange notice that it is gathering information from a weird site before opening the actual requested page. Should this be of concern. It does not happen using windows ie8. My system has been in for a complete cleanup and overhaul recently. Thanks

The last SMS package I created for Firefox was 6.0.2 so my apology if this is old news. From what I understand user.js replaced mozilla.cfg? What about lockpref, is their an equivalence? I'm also a little puzzled as to how one is suppose to use "browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone" or "browser.shell.checkDefaultBrowser" within user.js when the location it's suppose to be in doesn't exist untill the application is executed. Am I missing something?
