I have a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.7.5. My Gmail inbox is my home page, and every time it opens it says that my version of Firefox is outdated and that I should update to a "modern" browser. I have 15.0.1, so I am puzzled as to why this happens. Thanks!

I use javascript method file.getAsBinary for file uploading. It works fine in firefox3.6, but it doesn't work in firefox8. Does anybody know how to solve this or any method to replace file.getAsBinary in firefox8?

I just upgraded to Firefox 10 and had to go back to 3.6 because 10 doesn't seem to work on my computer. I have a windows 7 pc. After upgrading, whenever I moved my cursor over a button or link, that link blanks out or a black bock appears over it. Additionally, whenever I try to scroll, the entire window goes black until I stop scrolling.

My firefox keeps crashing. it says Microsoft Silverlight crashes. also another window pops up before that but i forget what it says. i have gone to firefox update checker and have done the necessary updates it suggested. yet silverlight keeps crashing. it seems to crash the most when i have hotmail.com open,and when i'm composing a message. all this started happening when i disabled IE. So I re-enabled IE to see if it would help but it didn't. please let me know how i can fix this; it is very frustrating.

Every version of firefox AFTER the 3.6 series has problems in dual monitor setups and I want to be able to keep all tabs I had open when I close firefox so when I open again they are there. In dual monitor if I use monitor 2 for firefox (which is the way I use it) the menu blink rapidly when I click on them and make very hard to navigate. What is it with the video setup in win7 I have to use an older version of winamp due to tearing in the second monitor? Have all you companies not fully learned who to implement dual monitor setups properly or is that not really a concern?

Since I got infected with searchqu and (hopefully) removed this, when I try and click on the + to open a new tab, nothing happens. I have also tried clicking on file, scrolling to "New Tab" but again nothing happens. However, if I go to file then "New Window" then it will open a new window - but what a nightmare!!! hi, i have installed all of the software on this computer & have even updated firefox before. now, clicking the "check for updates" tab i get the message posted above. since this is my computer i am assuming that i am the administrator & i haven't encountered any problems installing software before. what could be going on? appreciate any help on this. thanks, michael

I like my home page and every thing about it just fine. I don't want to change ANYTHING! So why does an alert come every day(actually a few times a day) asking me to update. If I could just download a security feature or something related, fine. But I do not see that I can be selective. Yes / No? Advise me.

Guys, I desperately need to block one shitty site, called "www.livejasmin.com", which always jumps on my desktop after clicking to "view" a certain picture on a photo hosting or other site. I have set "blocking pop-ups", but it doesn't help a bit with this shitty "livejasmine"! I so tired to close down hundreds of pop-up "livejasmins", you can't even imagine! Plese, please help me to block those bastards once and for good, or I'll go kill somebody! P.S. Sometimes those suckers' address looks like "http://creatives.livejasmin.com/puw2/i/im/imagebam/rus/index.php?psid=ed_imbamw2ru&pstool=149_13656_151&pstour=t1&psprogram=REVS&site=jsm" and so on...

Guys, when I click to save an image from the web, I sometimes miss with my mouse and instead of "save a picture as" I get a stinky "send a picture"! Shit, I HATE IT! If I want to send a picture, I'll send it myself, don't try to think for me. But this stinky "option" irritates me a lot!!! Plus, I have to shut down the sucking "Outlook Express" (the lousiest e-mail client worldwide!) every time I miss with the picture! Please, please, please help me to delete this stinky "send picture" option from my options menu (under right-mouse button). I do like FF, but I HATE such stinky "service"! Thanx a lot in advance!!!

I have logged on this particular site, http://www.springairsystems.com/SpecAndQuote/User/Login/View.aspx a number of time is the recent past. When I attempt to log on now, I get a prompt in red letter stating, "proxies cannot be fetched by a stateless session". What do I need to do to log on? I set my privacy settings to allow cookies from Firefox but that doesn't alleviate the problem.

don't know if foxfire is the right person to ask. The page and printing of the NYT I want to read is so large it wont' fit on the screen and I have to keep using the arrows at the bottom of the screen to go back and forth. Have tried to shrink it but in my inexperience I can't seem to make it happen.

the MAC PowerPC G4 is supported. I have attempted to install this 3 or 4 times and it never installs. It acts like it is installing but when I check the version I am running, it is still 3.6.23.

I will be typing along and suddenly nothing shows on screen and have to use mouse to get back.

Also will be doing solitare or other game and lose sound and have to mouse to get things moving again.Is this a virus?

I updated my windows and nothing showed as a problem there.

Ever since I downloaded one of your updates (Task bar?) I have been unable to get the "latest headlines." It is just stuck on a previous one and says "live bookmark failed to open." I clicked on "reload live bookmark" and nothing changed. Any ideas?
