For a few months now I get a message saying I need to upgrade my Mozilla browser. When I go to my email (live account through hotmail) it says I need to upgrade my browser. So I have tried several times to do this with no luck. It's getting pretty old having to look at email on a kindle or phone, I can look at it on IE but I have other user accounts so I have to log in and out all the time on there.

I have an extra tab whenever firefox loads. I click the x to close it but it won't close. My home page is set to what it's meant to be. So there will be the tab I'm looking at and an extra blank tab.

There's a green horizontal stripe across the videos I'm trying to watch, both on Facebook and on Youtube. It started when i downloaded Firefox 4 and updated flash player. I've tried to play videos in both Google chrome and in Internet Explorer but it doesn't work either, i've also tried to re-install both Firefox and flash but it just doesn't make a difference. PLEASE HELP ME !!

This doesn't happen on every single page, but VERY often when a new page loads (ie: gmail, Facbook login...) as soon as it is done loading i hear a loud high pitched sound. Far too often. It almost seems connected with the other problem Im having. When I get to a log in screen, the login box is filled at the same time as the sound, but the other annoying thing is to get rid of the pre-filled info (says enter login name, or enter phone #...) I have to double click and delete it. I know that is small, but with both issues all the time it really drives a guy nuts and slows down work.

An unsolicited add on called General Crawler 2.0 has suddenly appeared. Standard Firefox advice has not worked, nor has uninstalling Firefox and re-installing. When you uninstall it justs keeps coming back. If you disable it it stays there but you can't tell if the disable is genuine.

I am using windows 7 Home Premium, on an HP. I use and enjoy the Firefox browser. The only major extension that could cause clicking issues is possibly NoScript. But until recently I have had no problems with uploading attachments in Gmail through Firefox.

The issue: I start Gmail. Logging in is fine. When I compose a new message (still no problem) I can't upload any attachment via the attachment link. I click the attach link and it is unresponsive. I use internet explorer and I get no issues. I've noticed this issue only since yesterday. Please help.

In Firefox 3.6.16 (and presumably other earlier versions) one could force FF to offer to remember user ids and passwords for many sites by editing the file ...\Mozilla Firefox\components \nsLoginManager.js to ignore site- requested autocomplete disabling (_isAutocompleteDisabled returns false).

FireFox 4 does not use that file or any similar that I was able to find.

Can the result (FF ignores site attemps to turn off autocomplete) be achieved in some other way or by editing some other file?

When I try send gifts in Playdoms, Gardens of Time on facebook, I get the following security msg ' Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?'

If I say continue I get sent to a new tab and I have to reboot the game because the page just keeps creating new tabs even if I try to close the gift window. When it goes to print an error message comes up "an unknown error occrred while printing", this just started happening the last few days, I can print if it's an adobe file, but not from the screen.

In order to return the browsers/tabs back to the page they were on, I use the "Go back one page" arrow which restores the browser pages. There is no warning when this will happen. Most web pages are stored as favorites.

I frequently delete cookies and scan for spy ware and viruses.

I have not done anything to try to resolve this issue permanently.

My friend has a Chinese OS on her computer, but is using a Gmail account in which the interface is English, causing her problems. I'm in another country, but need to help her understand how to change the interface to Chinese for an account not with Taiwan-based Gmail. We're both tech novices, so I'm not sure if this is a question I should be asking Gmail help or you.

i uninstalled and re installed and same thing even used a different install file it installed fine on laptop had to go back to firefox 3.something till someone can tell me whats wrong

I have included multiple modifications to the user.js file (SLES11, firefox-3.6.16-0.2.1) to acheive most of my requirements, but I cannot find the about:config setting that prevents usernames (and passwords depending on the setting chosen) from saving.

I have been using about:config to confirm the setting in pref.js then I change the setting back to the default in about:config, and add the appropriate config line to user.js rather than have it set in pref.js

The information I found online directs me to Edit --> Preferences, but this configuration needs to be written for use in a base image to be distributed.

it's a naver blog in korea. i can see half page in blog(if i scroll down can i see all page),only naver blog. but other blog (ex. egloos , tistory ..) can i see all page.

i don't know when,why, this problem was happened but, first when i use the Ff in may, 2011 it doesn't happened.
