I do not want to use the default American dictionary. Although I have the English/Australian dictionary installed, every time I use a word that in Australia has an 's' but in the States has a 'z' the word in highlighted as incorrect. For example. Australia: 'organisation'. US: 'organization' - the word 'organisation' is highlighted as an error although it is not. In other words, the US dictionary takes precedence over my installed English/Australian dictionary which makes that English dictionary totally superfluous and makes me wonder why it's offered in the first place. I would like to remove the US dictionary but can't find it to kill it.

FF 18. Menu bookmark font is impossible to read. It must be .4 size font (not FOUR but decimal point size). This is not a case of the font being too small there is some sort of bug where the menus change size. If you click alt the menus pop up and are normal but if you use the arrows to naviage the items the jump to super small size. Same thing w/the mouse but sometimes placing the cursor in a certain spot will get them ack to normal. Sometimes they'll just to some bizarre size but only unto you move the mouse.

I have the latest Firefox (18.0.2) on Mac 10.7.5. A few days ago I updated it with the latest Java (7_13) because we use some software in my company that requires it.

Before the update, Firefox blocked two pop-up ads on my company's web site (www.lawtechnologynews.com).

After the update, the pop-ups are no longer blocked. I made sure the pop-up blocker is still enabled and that our domains are not excepted.

Any ideas?

I am using Firefox 18 in Ubuntu 12.10. My tab navigation shortcut has stopped working (it was working earlier). I cannot switch to tabs using shortcut ALT + n. Suppose I am in the last tab and I want to switch to first tab using shortcut ALT + 1, but it is not working. How do I fix this?

I am hooked on personas however the address bar and search bar are glaringly white instead of transparent like the rest of the upper page. This totally destroys the continuity of the photo. I would like to make those bars, as well as everything above the reading pane transparent like the upper tool bar so that the only thing that shows is the icons and text. I have tried dozens of search terms, none address this issue. Firefox 18.01. Can anyone help resolve this? Screen shot available.

I do not have ghostery but I'm still getting this message. It's been happening for the last few days. I cannot reply to or compose yahoo email with the firefox browser.

I can receive yahoo email in firefox, just can't reply to them.

What needs to happen to be able to use my yahoo email in firefox like I used to?

My Firefox keeps crashing unexpectedly within seconds of using the internet. I'm using the latest version, I have run my anti-virus protection program, installed the Mircosoft Safety Scanner, I have updated my plug-ins, I have installed the "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" provided by Firefox, and I have tried using Firefox in Safety Mode, but it keeps crashing. I need a solution for this problem!

In Firefox, some buttons work and some do not while in all other browsers they seem to work fine. This is truly bizarre. I have already tried: - conforming the compression settings to be the same as the ones that work - making sure the file names are lower case with no spaces -I've diddled around with the formatting and moved songs around to replace ones that DO work with the ones that aren't playing. Still no luck.

Another strange thing that is happening is that if you right click on the player, you can go to the link where the mp3 is, and it plays fine on its own.

I have Win 7 and FF 18.0.1 The problem I am having is recent as this used to work okay.

When I go to Youtube and want to play a playlist of videos continuously it doesn't play continuously anymore. When the video page appears it appears with a bold red circle and a backslash in it and as soon as I hover my mouse over video part of the page the red circle disappears then I have to click on the play button in the center of the video page to get it to play. Then it plays that video and stops. Then I have to go through the same thing again to get the next video to play when all of the videos should play continuously until all are played and that is that way it used to work until just recently. I am guessing that I added a FF add on that is causing this problem. This has been going on for a few weeks and I thought nothing about it until today when I tried to play a continuous circuit of videos and now I don't remember what add ons I recently added. Of course I don't know that a FF add on is causing this problem. I can play the same playlist of videos with Internet Explorer and they play continuously the way they are supposed to play.

When I running/browsing internet on Firefox. I can't safely eject my flash drives. each time, I get this:

"Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device- This devise is currently in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and try again."

The flash drives aren't being used much of the time, except for when I save something to them. Nothing is using them and all saves and other stuff are completed, but I can't safely eject them when Firefox is running. I have to close Firefox to safely eject them. I can in safe mode, however. Is a weird glitch or something else going on with Firefox?

Since a couple of days ago I noticed something weird with my start page. Usually I see mozilla related content under the search box, which is gone, while typing something into the search box and pressing the button or enter does nothing. I already tried resetting browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone and deleting the chromeappsstore.sqlite with no effect. I would like a solution that doesn't involve making a new profile consindering that I don't want to lose all my bookmarks and addons. This is not a major problem for me as I can search from the navigation bar, but I would like to fix it.

I am trying to copy an letter from my affiliate page and put copy into my auto-responder but it says firefox will not allow this. If I can not get it fixed to day I will have to revert back to Internet explorer. Thank you Pam

I modified my navigation bar by adding Omnibar but I did not know it would eliminate my search bar so now I want to restore the old search bar and delete Omnibar. Can't figure out how to do this.

Also, I want to add Google as a search engine choice within the search bar, rather than being limited to just the Ask.com option.

I just upgraded to Windows 8 and loaded Firefox 18 - I imported my bookmarks HTML file and the bookmarks on the left display either garbage or the wrong title until I mouse over them. They then display correctly unless I mouse over them again. My tabs display bookmark titles until I mouse over them.
