Comments boxes, (excepting on the first page of comments) on YouTube are unresponsive/greyed out. Google have not answered my query, can you advise please? Running Ff in 'Safe mode' makes no difference, nor does reloading the page. The URL is just an example, the first set of comments I can reply to, the next & subsequent I can't.

I have Fixefox 16.0.2 Win7 x64 . but the same problem on Ubuntu I can't copy translate from right panel in google translator, but in other browers is fine. Ctrl-c,ctrl-v and context menu didn't help me.

It's not under add-ons and it's not a program that I can uninstall. I have AdBlocker, which isn't helping. Random words are highlighted on my pages. It just started happening today. I thought people were trying to spam me. How annoying can they be?

one question I am looking for help with is, when you hit the history button I want my last fifty pages to show up instead of just fifteen. Is it possible to change that setting?

First time I visited a website, I followed a link, which had https instead of http as a protocol. The website is throwing error when I try to access it via https procotoc, so I have to delete the "s" letter manually every time. Even if I type the website name without protocol, Firefox adds https himself throwing me again on the error page.

I tried clearing cache, history, deleting mention of the website in the tips (shift+del after typing part of the url).

Whenever i open firefox the default search engine in the little search bar is always Yahoo, and nothing i do changes it back to google permanently. Even when i type something in the address bar it uses yahoo. Ive tried everything including going in to about:config and changing a bunch of stuff like putting in the google string but nothing works...

Each time I start my web browser (firefox ver. 16.0.1) not only does my selected home web page load, but also the firefox plugin check & updates page loads too. So two webpages open. How do I keep the plugin & updates page from loading? The page lists that All updates & plugins are up to date! Why is this web page continually load each time I open firefox? Unable to load Farmville (Zygna game - Facebook). I just installed the latest version of Firefox and Flash (11.5) and I had previously fully uninstalled both of them. I checked that the Firefox settings were correct in Tools/Options. Disabled Plug-ins and Extensions, Hardware Acceleration, POP-up blocker, Restored defaults, started in Safe Mode and anything else that was suggested. I would be grateful for any other suggestion.

I started my computer this morning and everything seemed normal, yet once I got on youtube, every video i tried to watch wouldn't play properly, even though yesterday things were fine, and I've never encountered this problem before.. I hadn't updated, installed or otherwise changed anything between the two days and everything else works just fine.. Whenever i start a video the sound chops up and skips/lags like it can't keep up.. It's hard to describe.. Kinda like if one listens to a CD with lots of scratches... I initially assumed that it was a Flash Player issue.. But after updating both Flash Player and Firefox to the latest versions the problem still persists.. I now assume it is a Firefox issue, as I have tried viewing the videos in other browsers, and they play just fine.. I have no idea what is causing it.. And I would appreciate any help or solutions you could give me.. I'm also not that big of a computer expert, so please forgive me for anything seemingly obvious I might have overlooked.. I have a lot of folder that I was storing emails in that are no longer significant. I know how to add folders, but I don't know how to eliminate them when they are no longer needed.

I have had to reset Firefox 3 times. Everytime I notice an "Old Firefox Data" folder appear on my desktop with subsequent numbers following the title. What are these files for? What do I do with them?

The pop-up blocker kept blocking a page, so i allowed it in the exceptions. It still blocked it. But it would not block other pop-ups, just half of them. So i turned off the blocker, and it still blocks it. Even restarting does nothing. Don't know what to do....

After the last update of Firefox (to version 16.0.2) I get random words on a page of a site that are underlined. These underlined words link to sites where I can win stuff. When I put my mouse cursor on them I see a text saying: Click to continue > by CouponDropDown. I don't want this, how do I turn it off?

Every time I log out, shut down & restart. It returns Firefox to the default settings that occur after a new install. It keeps the settings if I exit & restart Firefox without shutting down but if I shut down, it forgets everything.
