Try to print Que on Netflix and it will not print duplex on My Brother HL2270DW whereas it works just fine with internet explorer. Is there a setting I can make to correct this? Thank You Curt

When I am in Spain with my laptop and use the Google Search bar when connected to the internet it connects to Google.es which is in spanish. How can I get it to connect to google.uk automatically? Thanks. Paul Langley

I am unable to download statements from internet banking site. When I try to download, a new tab is opened, but there is no statement available. I got an error message when I first tried this today, but it disappeared before I could write down the exact message. I tried logging out of the banking and logging back in again, but there was no error message the second time. I have the latest version of Adobe and have updated to the latest version of Firefox. I am running OS X 10.8.3 on my iMac. I have never experienced this problem before, and my internet banking site is unable to solve the problem. Any suggestions please?

I added the owl theme and I think it is interfering. I cannot easily read the tabs, some screens have no down arrow on scroll bar, no bottom scroll bar, and swipe feature does not work. Clicked on Firefox icon -- no Add-On folder. Tried the Help -- Troubleshooting. Page comes up with all details -- have no clue what to look for. Also in the startup menu I now have Microsoft Silverlight. Is this attached to the theme?

How do I get Firefox to see and use it? It doesn't show in "about:plugins"

The RAM for the video chipset is actually 64 MB's. The entry in the "troubleshooting information" says "unknown."

My webmail account works, though slowly, when I'm using NetScape 7.1. When I try to use the same program and service with FireFox 12.0, I can receive email, but sending email gets me an error message that's something like "Could not establish an SMTP commection with the server." The service tells me that my outgoing smtp port should be 465 if I'm using SSL, and 25 if I'm not using SSL. Also, if I'm asked about "authentication," it should be "the same as incoming." Where do I find these settings in FF12.0?

I get these pop-ups with ib.adnxs.com that either are blank windows or advertise gambling or lucky chance kinds of things. Ran Norton Deep scan and could not find the virus. Anybody know how to get rid of tjis thing? Stan

I missed the shift key and hit several keys in the bottom left hand corner of my keyboard. Firefox lost the tab I was was using and split into a separate iteration for each of the others (plus two I had closed). I couldn't get it back and had to close all but one of them and reconstruct all my tabs.

What had I done and how should I have recovered?

I got the Java disabled message:

Missing Java? "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version."

and I decided I didn't really need Java so I removed it thru the Add/Remove programs feature in Control Panel. The message still pops up every time FF is started. It even comes up in FF safe mode with all add-ons disabled. I updated to ver 12 but that doesn't help either.

How can I stop this alert window from opening every time I start FF?

Tyler: I am still looking for support and so are the other 83 people who have this problem. Hence why I am here, not to have to start another thread, not to have a go at you or just to run around further to get a clear, straight forward answer. I am now back to running Version 12 (which, has not solved the problem), with up-to-date plugins which are all supported.

Don’t fob us off, PLEASE HELP. Unless I am very much mistaken, this is the place we are meant to find help, right? Not to be completely blown off because somebody says something you don’t like. Perhaps someone better suited to this will help. I’ll follow on from then with MY problem from Tyler’s final comment as it is highly relevant:

Tylerdowner: Rumor Control, if you are running Firefox 18 with up to date plugins, then you are having a different problem than this thread is about. This is for Firefox 3.6 users who have old plugins, not those with updated software.

After use of the method to remove MyStart and the toolbar and folder was removed, I still get the MyStart search page when I open a new tab. I had reset my search engine to Google, but when any new tab is opened it opens to the MyStart search page.

Today, the location bar suddenly showed 12 sites when I start typing characters into it. Until now, it only ever showed 4. The settings only seem to let me pick whether the sites should be from Bookmarks/History/Both/Nothing.

I haven't installed any extensions lately, or updated FF at all in a long while. This is really disruptive, having it take up my whole screen. Please help me out.
