When I start Firefox, I only get the background of my browser in the Firefox window. I the normal window for 1 second, but then it changes in only the background window. So without toolbar, or navigation. I already reinstalled it, but that doesn't fix the problem.

I recently got a strange problem with Nightly 19. It crashes when I try to print an page - any page, even a blank one.

This problem is reproducable on all of my machines with nightly newer than 11-04-2012. So the problem has occured about one week ago for the first time, so I assume it is a bug in the code which handles the print function.

Can anyone help me with this?

We have an HP MS6200 MulitSeat PC It is running Microsoft Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 (which appears to be a tweaked version of Windows 7) It is set up in a computer lab, and students log in using their shared room account - ie multiple instances of the same user accounts are running on the PC at the same time. The first student to run Firefox can work with it without problem. However when another student tries to start firefox they get the following message: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.

Right-click a link and choose 'save link as...' Browse to desired location and click 'new folder' Name the folder and open it click 'save' Firefox crashes -- restart and use the new folder or any existing folder and everything is fine after that.

Creating a new profile is really not an option for me. (too much work, too many settings)

A workaround for this problem is starting firefox with the "Run this program as an Administrator" option. So the problem has something to do with NTFS permissions.

Using XP Pro Firefox hangs every time I press a Browse button. I have to force close with Task Manager. I've tried removing the registry MRU keys as suggested in a previous closed question, but that hasn't helped.

I am on a Windows 7, 32 but machine. While closing one of the tabs on FF14, I got this gray screen which has been persistent since then. It was not a crash, and hence I do not see any crash reports in the appropriate folder. I uninstalled this version (without removing user data), and installed 16, which behaves same. I do not get any options to start in safe mode - just a semi-transparent gray screen with (minimize/maximize/close) buttons.

Everything was running smooth, and I am quite sure it's not because of any plugins. I need to preserve my user data - how should I proceed ?

It started on Friday, my Firefox has been non stop having issues of going into non-responding phase of about average 1-2mins then clears up or longer. Usually on a site using flash, I check my Task Manager and find 2 Flash 11.4 operations running with Firefox. It hangs too even when saving files or closing/switching to new tabs, so I don't think its all the new flash fault or not. Also randomly opens a tab in a new page at time when the freeze ends.

It's getting really annoying doing this all day.

Firefox continually crashes. When I restart the log that is supposed to go to you is deleted and a message says the report was not sent. Need to fix forefox crashes and get everything working correctly. I am running Windows 7 and have tried several different firefox versions-same problem.

This occurred straight after visiting the isohunt site. I had a message saying "Firefox is preventing

IsoHunt from installing a program, will you allow?" (or words to that effect). I gave permission then the problem started.

I have used Firefox on my iMac for a long time without any problem. I'm running OS X 10.7.5

Nothing but crashes as of late while it is open and doing nothing or while clicking a open tab to a new page. There is always multiple tabs open. The (stupid) tabbed screen links have been disabled as they are a privacy concern. Open and close above does not work as a few links seem to escape and get to a new open tab so it has been disabled. It should be a install option or there should be a disable that in tools.

Ok....41 crashes since late Sept. Average 2 + a day or more but it seems looking at the crash logs some are not being recorded.

On occasion the program will load a window for say "Familysearch.com" but hang for awhile when calling a subroutine. Lately I can't get it to get the first window loaded. There have been no crash reports called up at all.

i can open/ run firefox. it can be maximized or resized no problem. links on desktop will open. yet when i go to click on the search bar, or on anything the main frame is un responsive. i have reinstalled previous versions and the most resent. nothing fixes the problem. i love using firefox and tend to have little to no problems. to recap. it starts up, can be resized or close, yet nothing not even the help button can be clicked. what can i do? does this mean i need to use opera or ie to access the internet now. oh nooooo.
