Just today photobucket uploader stopped working. Has been working for years! I upgraded to Firefox 20 yesterday.. but uploader was working.

I tried reinstalling Firefox 20 then back to firefox 19.... does not help.

I hit some sort of clear firefox thing and did that... the reinstalled photobucket uploader... but still have the same problem I have cleared all browser history... a few times.

Right click and image gives "login to uploader" Clicking that does nothing.. no window to login with... nothing. Similarly in tools/photobucket uploader I see login as an option... NOTHING happens when I click that. I have NEVER seen an uploader login before.. let alone logged in?

I run a forum and use photo-upload many many times a day... I need it.

Apparently pushed the wrong "Download" button. Now instead of my homepage (which I have reset), when I open Firefox the "search.conduit.com" page opens. I used the "about:config" procedure several times but it didn't work. There is nothing listed on "add/remove" that is related. Also scanned with Ad-aware, Super AntiSpyware and Norton 360. How do I clean search.conduit out of my browser?

I have used Firefox for several years, it is a wonderful product and I love it. Now all of a sudden after I have installed a few things I now get a default homepage of a proxy server search engine, (/proxy.allsearchapp.com/app/start/) I have attempted to re do the normal option/and adjust the homepage option so many times. I also have chose NO PROXY server option. I went to the about.config and changes the keyword.url to no avail. I even went into my cookies and deleted the proxy allsearch and still nothing. I have worked on this problem for days. I even uninstalled my firefox, restarted my computer so many times and restarted it and re installed from a fresh copy and wala.... it is still there terrorizing me. I do not get this with my internet explore but I do not want to use that! I much prefer my Firefox. I have googled this problem and done most everything it has said but now I just do not know what else to try. Does anyone have my answer please?

Can someone please help? I am on FF 18, Windows XP and the latest Java (1.7.0_11). After spending many hours searching for and reading posts about FF blocking Java I fully understand the reasoning for this and it's fine by me BUT I do want to view/use java on trusted sites. The article, http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-use-java-if-its-been-blocked , seemed clear and simple enough BUT when I tried doing this on the Oracle Java test page, like others, I did not get any option to 'click to Play'. There was no red icon in the address url box (to click on) but there was a yellow pop up strip containing a blue icon on the left, the notice that a plugin was required and a button to install it. Clicking on the blue icon did not bring up any 'click to Play' option and this icon does not appear in the address url box. Clicking on the install button does only take me back to the download page at Oracle (and we can go on ad infinitum on this route).

Java works fine in IE (according to the Oracle test page). I have noticed that in FF, when I go to the test page, for what must be a milisecond I see the Java verification screen (rotating circle of blue dots) but then it gets blocked with the greyed out box. There is no message on that box as described in the above article, only a message that a plugin is required, clicking on that again takes me back to a fresh download button.

I have tried uninstalling Java and then downloading a fresh one through IE but that does not make any difference.

What can I do to get the 'click to play' option to work (any route would be fine i.e clicking on an icon or the greyed out boxes?

I have found that there is a FF click to play switch Addon at, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/click-to-play-switch/ but wonder if this would work if FF is already permanently blocking Java.

I am not a clued up techi guy so I can add any other info.

I have never had any problems downloading and reading .pdf files until I 'upgraded' the Adobe reader to version 11. Now all attempted downloads fail because "I don't have the necessary helper application or even C:\DOCUME~1\Will-o\LOCALS~1\Temp\Back Channel II - The Vietnam Betrayal - Chaps 1&2.pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences. What in the world is going on and how do I fix it?

Under 'Tools - Applications - Adobe Acrobat Document, the I've selected 'Use Adobe Reader.' However since I also have Adobe Acrobat 8.3, I've tried substituting that for the Reader, but that doesn't work either. Please help.

As you type into the address bar, Firefox displays a drop-down list of suggested sites and actually the pages I have visited.I want to know how can I disable that ? Is that possible? I don’t like it it’s not useful and it’s so unsecure now every body that doesn’t know anything about computer is able to know what pages I visited before if he can be behind my desk.

when i right click, it shown long list of menus. and none of them are working.

there are : dictionary menus, video menus, image menus, bookmark menus, save menus, spell check menus, editor menus, etc.

Sinds 2 weken is mijn hotmailaccount niet meer niet meer te openen met Firefox 17; waarschijnlijk na een update. In kan wel inloggen maar daarna werkt niets meer. Als ik me wil inschrijven, krijg ik steeds dezelfde pagine terug. Ook de mappen en berichten van mijn hotmail-account openen niet als ik erop klik. Ik krijg alleen die pagina te zien met: geheime vraag invullen, alternatief email-adres invullen .e.d. en verder kom ik niet, ik kan klikken/invullen wat ik wil. Niets doet het !

Met IE werkt de hotmail-account wel. Alleen wil ik de IE browser nooit gebruiken.

Weet u misschien een oplossing zodat ik mijn hotmailaccounts weer normaal kan ópenen, én gebruiken met Firefox. Ik wil gewoon weer kunnen aanmelden op mijn hotmailaccount met Firefox, mijn berichten en andere hotmail-mappen weer kunnen openen.

I have used Speed Dial for a long time, both on my desktop machine and my laptop, and I really like it. Recently I got a new desktop and installed the latest version of Firefox on it. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to add Speed Dial it appears to install properly but the icon doesn't appear on the menu bar. I have tried several times and each time I am told Speed Dial will be installed after I restart Firefox. However, clicking the button restarts FF, but the icon never appears! What is going wrong, and how can I get Speed Dial to work for me, as it has always done?

I can remember a check off box to delete all cookies and temp files on termination of each session. I can't find it any longer - where did it go? I can't believe you have to manually delete files to keep the crap off the computer now. Running 17.0.1. for windows xp home.

I would like to have 2 Firefox windows open simultaneously so that I can go from one yahoo email acct. to the other without signing out, then back in again. Is this possible ? I presently do it with firefox and explorer and I have nothing but problems with explorer.

i would to get yahoo, back as my home page. I tried changing it, per mozilla instructions . It did not work. Per mozilla support I am to uninstall "babylon toolbar". I checked control panel no babylon listed as be installed. My question is there another name for the 'babylon toolbar?

My son has a dell laptop and watches and uploads videos on you tube and he likes using firefox but he has to turn the resolution down to be able to do these things is there some way to fix this?

My Firefox crashed first then the whole computer. After a system restore and reload of Firefox I noticed my navigation bar and tab bar had changed places. Is there anyway to reposition either. I seem to remember this option before. I find it convenient to have the tab bad directly above the window then the navigation bar above this.
