i have check the character encoding but other site are working fine.now my character encoding showing unicdoe (UTF - 8 ) I have been tried to change western iso(88591) but it doesnt change the site from diamond symbol filled with question mark. gmail page showing diamond symbol with question mark.

Sometimes after using the master password to access an account during a given firefox session I would like to "revoke" this ability for automatic access (i.e. require typing the master password again) without having to end the current session and restart firefox.

While it is nice to only have to type the master password once per session, there are times when after starting some action I would like to leave the browser unattended for a short time but prevent others from accessing sensitive information at other sites if they do not know my master password. Note this is not the same as "locking the browser." Presently the only way I know to force this is to kill the current session and restart the browser but this is not very satisfactory if I actually want to stay connected (authorized) at a particular site. I would hope that adding a button on the security tab to "require master password for current session" would be a simple fix to implement? Thank you for your attention.

I am using Firefox and I love to browse websites using it.

But after updating to version 10.0 I am facing problem. The focus doesn't set on textbox of Google search when I open new tab and click on textbox, I have to click on another tasks manager item and then I can see the focus.

I am facing this problem everyday and this happened after updating to this newer version only I was not facing this before.

i use Firefox 3.6.6 ...it runs slow. And now I installed Firefox 4... but it shows offline. Firefox 3.6.6 still runs though.

when I upgrade from 3 to 3.6, i lost my bookmarks!!!!!

I have just another question: ?- why I can't write Farsi in some sites in Mozilla Firefox 6.? because of that, I have to use Mozilla 3.6!!

Did a clean install of win XP x64 after a registry problem gone bad. At the same time updated from ff 8.x to the newest 9.0.1 and can at the present not log on to the readynasNV+ from netgear using it's web interface. Also can't view the bitorent page of same machine. On the previous version I got a security pop-up with this but after puting that aside as an exception no further problems with it. I can acces it in IE 6.0 no problem except for similar security pop-ups.

I often use the shortcut Alt FWF to create new directories on Windows.

When FF 15 is set as default it alters the File New menu from Windows Explorer.

It inserts a "Firefox HTML document" item.

This item seems to sabotage the above key combination. It intercepts the last F.

In addition I object to the naming which is plain wrong, for me.

I have deleted the registry key that inserts this thing. Unfortunately it re-appears.

I want to stop this behaviour.

How do I kill this. (Other than by making another browser the default.)

I disabled both of the Firefox Add-Ons I use (NoScript 2.1.0.1 & Ad Block Plus 1.3.6) and rebooted the machines, but that had no effect. This problem has been repeated on multiple PCs, running XP Pro (sp3), Vista Business (sp2) & Server 2003 (sp2), right after upgrading to Firefox 4, so the problem is definitely related to Firefox 4.

For example: I have 3 tabs open. I have tab 1 selected, I switch to tab 3 and proceed to type (Log in details for example) When typing it out, the information I enter types out on tab 1, rather than 3, sometimes I don't check and press enter (Causing it to enter on tab 1, which could cause me to show my password on another site)

I have to switch between tabs like 3-4 times in order to sort the priority out.

this problem is not duplicated when viewing same page in Internet Explorer8.0.6xxx.

This was most recent website visited and when it automatically redirected to the next video in line, it froze the mouse. I tried to launch the task manager at which point it locked out the keyboard.

(This PC is a Dell Precision T3500 w/ 6G of RAM running WinXP Pro x64, there is no rationale for this kind of incompetence.)

This happens WAY TOO OFTEN, like more than 50% of visits to video oriented sites like youtube etc

I just upgraded to ff 6.0.2.

My old version of ff had a change to the userChrome.css file:

1. FindToolbar {display: -moz-box !important;}

This causes the find toolbar to appear on ff startup.

I want this functionality with 6.0.2.

You help is appreciated!

Greetings, I've create two separate Firefox configurations. When I open each one individually, they work perfectly. However, when one is open and then I open the other, it becomes a mirror of the configuration that is already open. Is there a setting or switch to prevent this?

i had a bad experience ;-(, my pc crashed and i can not get to run again.... so i changed the hard disk and made fresh installation. i also made a new firefox installation.

is there a possibility to get back the information from the other hard disk like bookmarks, passwords etc? i can not access the old firefox installation, so i can not create a backup or export a profile or book marks so i have no files.

but i can copy data from the old hard disk.

is there a way to manage this

I visited http://es.mouser.com/ via a Google search, now when I try to visit http://www.mouser.com it only goes to http://es.mouser.com.

How can I fix it, and How can I prevent this from happening again?
