i have done everything listed here so many times and nothing is fixing this. Made sure cookies were enabled, cleared cache and cookies, made sure Gmail was approved in security settings, and then as a last ditch effort, I disabled all add-ons for Firefox and still no Gmail... I was so desperate that I even re-installed ff-19 and still cannot get into my email account. What is going on here? Any help or small nudge in the correct direction would be much appreciated!

Just recently I updated to Firefox 19, and since I had some problems when scrolling on websites: some of the lines/letters get blurred. I did some online research and found a tip of deactivating smooth scrolling, so I did that, re-started Firefox, but the issue was still not solved. I did not have this problem until the recent upgrade. Is this a known issue? Is there a solution to this? If not, how can I go back to the previous version of Firefox, I can only find download links to the latest version....

Since firefox 19, and recently i upgraded to 20 Firefox crashes, and the only way i can startup firefox is in safetymode. I removed all add-ons and even did a clean install of firefox again, but no result.

Firefox does not trust a specific secure website that I know is secure, but it does trust other secure websites. Also, Internet Explorer trusts this website and Firefox on another computer trusts this same website. When I try to connect Firefox tells me that it does not have a valid certificate (even though I know one exists) and that I would have to make an exception to connect. Is there some way I can correct this and get the proper certificate into this particular Firefox program?

Many functions are not working since the upgrade, including downloads of several varieties. I am not interested in spending time applying fixes -- I want to revert to v19, but can't seem to find the url to download it. Can someone direct me?

I am trying to get away from the WaterFox 'click to use' interface which is a pain in the neck as hardly anything works today. Now I have a similar problem in FireFox.

I was on a news website & while opening an link in a new window, i clicked on block this website by mistake and now the website isn't opening anymore ! kindly help on how do i unblock the website now !

I installed 18.0 today. I have it set up to open FF search page (about:home) when I open a new tab. This search page no longer functions; I can input search terms, but neither the search button nor enter does anything. It just sits there.

I tried the steps outlined here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934580?esab=a&as=aaq It didn't help. I also tried addons disabled. No go.

This problem has persisted since version 16. Settings in options are correct. I have tried changing different options and my settings file does save the new settings. I run a current version of Norton 360 and have used a separate malware detector Microsoft Safety Scanner. No malware. Troubleshooting information shows the correct setting for browser.startup.homepage. I'm lost, please help, thank you.

I can see my bookmarks folder at the top in the menu, but it used to be accessible in my bookmarks bar also. I am not missing my bookmarks from either folder or bar. This happened after the last upgrade. How can I fix this? Thank you

I installed Firefox 19 from a prior version of Firefox. It now will not play any on line video - youtube or other streaming videos. I can play them all on MS Internet Explorer and in Google Chrome. The add-ons are up to date in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox 19 - same problem, no video. I installed latest version of Adobe and Flash Player. Windows 7 is up to date. Ran virus scan, no problem.

Just read a news article about users being tricked into installing FinSpy (Finfisher?) Quote "The booby-trapped document embeds a copy of FinSpy that masquerades as legitimate Mozilla Firefox software." How would a user know if this had happened? (not that I suspect it has happened to me, or I do anything that would warrant me being a target of such a scam)

I tried to hear a conference call on a website. Got a message, needed windows media plug in. Checked my plug ins, no windows media. Read tutorial on firefox support. Clicked on download. Got a window that asked for repair or change. Tried repair, then change. Need better directions on how to finish download. Got message download successful, but after closing firefox and reopening, still no plug in for windows media in list of plug ins. Went to site and could not hear conference. Read support forum. Message about using about:config. Tried this, typed in about: config in start menu, but didn't see anything that looked like I could change to true like message said. solved by opening internet explorer and going to website and listening to conference call on windows media player. There was a message saying click here if you want to enable media player. Did so, heard conference. Tried using chrome. Got to hear conference yesterday. Today, there was same message about needing plug in when I tried to follow instructions to get plug in, it was as confusing and useless as firefox. The bottom line is I tried to do everything set forth in firefox's forum suggestions and can't get the windown media plug in to show up in my list of plug ins and can't hear conference calls on firefox. Chrome did say they were working on getting plug in available at chrome store. I agree with comments that I was able to go to web sites and hear calls before firefox made an update that removed my windows media plug in. The simple download fix, presumeably from windows, does not work, apparently because firefox can't find the fix. That is not the user's fault, and it looks like windows tried to provide a fix, and firefox won't recognize it. Bottom line, it is easier to use another browser, than try and get the windows media player plug in installed on firefox. What good is a browser, if you can't hear a call on the website that the browser takes you to? Please make it easy to install the windows media plug in on firefox. Thank you..

my sound works on mozilla for everything i found but netflix, i have don't all the steps netflix has suggested but i still have no sound on mozilla but do on other browers, i have checked that mozilla volume is set to full and on but still have no sound. i have made sure my audio codecs and mozilla is up to date. is there any other things i might try because i really like using mozilla not other browsers.

Control set for saving history. Do not track is chosen, but same result without this option. Settings have been reset with no change in outcome. Version is 20.0.1. Previous versions seemed okay. Logging in and out is okay. There is only a "Today" entry, no previous days, each day I sign in.

firefox is my prefered browser, however a problem with photobucket has occured. Cannot open photobucket and pictures from photobucket which have been posted to a Forum have dissapered!. Yet if I use Google, all is well, no problems at all!!! Yor advise please...cheers
