I get pop ups saying 21 is out dated , is this true or is this an evil program trying to get me to down load a nefarious product or virus. I close it and look for up dates at Mozilla directly but find nothing newer than 21

Whenever I search using the address bar it keeps going to Yahoo. I already updated the configuration "keyword.URL" to "https://www.google.com/search?q=" but it doesn't work.

I have tried uninstalling FF and it still happens with a fresh install.

Please help me fix this. TIA.

i want to know how could i restart Firefox in a quicker way than exiting the program and clicking back on the icon. isn't there a shortcut or a button or sth ? plz help

so i was able to right click say on an article or a photo and it show a list of places i could share ,in my case it is to share on face book. how do get that back?

My Foscam FI8910W, opens after sign in, with three modes to choose from. Only the ActiveX mode, in IE, works to allow recordings to be made. Sometime back, just after I bought this new laptop, a free AT&T program with McAfee, is available for AT&T users. But this app, can only be loaded into Internet Explorer, and something wrong with IE, prevented it from happening. I contacted AT&T Tech support, allowed the tech onto my machine, and even he could not solve it. He then opened Firefox I already had, and installed some program, that made Firefox actually act like IE, so that McAfee software, could be downloaded and installed. It worked, using Firefox to replace IE, to download and install, but the print spooler on my pc, went bad, and would not work to use my printer. Dell tech also took control of the pc, found a complete Windows 7 reinstall was needed, and he did so. Now, the print spooler works, but the fresh install, did away with the software the AT&T Tech added to Firefox.

IE is a pain, but we need it, for some sites, like for the Activex mode, with my camera. I tried pening it in Firefox, in the ActiveX mode, and it opens, but with no picture. When I click on Device Management, to go to settings, I can't. What I get, is a small pop up balloon on lower right, that says 'javascript:administrator0'. Thinking maybe Javascript was disabled, I checked in options, and it is not, it's checked, thus enabled. I am on my pc, as administrator, so now I am stuck. Is there someone who can explain how to make it work, so I can use my camera in ActiveX mode, so I can actually record tings, if need be, when I leave? Thanks in advance. Oh, My Win 7, has the 64 bit OS, not the 32 if that helps.

On my old laptop i had XP home and outlook express. If i found something i would share i just had to right clic and then had the opition to 'send link by mail'. Very nice function!! How do i do that with windows 7 with Firefox and Thunderbird?

I want to pair desktop Firefox to existing sync account, but I don't have access to already synced desktop Firefox account, only to already-synced Android account. How I can do that?

Knowing how to do this, if possible, would speed sorting and relocating bookmarks into folders. If this is not possible, Firefox really should work on achieving this!

Da ich der englischen Sprache nicht gerade sehr mächtig bin und bis Firefox 18.0.0 stets alle Tabs, Befehle, Dropdowns u.a. auf Deutsch vorhanden waren, ist dies sehr ärgerlich. Ich dachte zunächst, dass es sich nur um einen Fehler dieses speziellen Updates handeln würde, doch mit dem neuesten Update 19.0.0 hat sich an den englischsprachigen Einstellungen nichts geändert.

Wie also kann ich Firefox wieder auf Deutsch umstellen, ohne es komplett neu installieren zu müssen??

Wenn ich auf Minimieren gehe, wird das Fenster so klein, daß ich darin nichts mehr sehen, bzw arbeiten kann- wie bekomme ich dieses Fenster etwas größer, bzw kann ich es individuell anpassen ?

Earlier when i used to enter some words in the address bar and press enter firefox would use google's browse by name search and redirect to what i want. For example if i wrote fb, it took me to facebook, and if i wrote something ambiguous it would open a google search for the query. Recenly, it somehow changed. I have keyword.enabled set to true and the keyword.url is http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q= but when i enter something in the address bar, it uses the active engine in the search box. if i have wikipedia active in the search box and i type google in the address bar, it takes me to the wikipedia page for google.

Firefox website shortcut icons on my desktop now look like the first choice one sees when right clicking a shortcut icon , then left clicking "properties", and then clicking " change icon" -- they should look like a white square with the firefox logo in the center instead of a white square with a little box containing 3 tiny symbols.
