I am running Firefox 20.0 on my Mac. My operating system is OS X 10.8.3. Some websites load just fine. Some start to load up, but never finish. The color wheel spins, and I have to force quit. Americablog is one example of a site that isn't loading properly, but there are many others. It appears that large commercial sites -- such as Facebook -- are working fine. I have worked through as many of the fixes as I could follow, and they don't seem to work. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know what to do? Thanks.

I upgraded to Firefox 20 and now my inspector is confined to the bottom of the viewport in an iFrame that I can pop out.

In previous versions, I could open up the CSS rules and box model visualization at the same time. This was one of the main reasons I considered the Firefox inspector superior to those of Opera, Chrome and Safari.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this now.. do I need to click between the box model and the rules or is there some way to revert to the old inspector layout or one that is more like it?

I'll code an add-on if I have to get this thing to work. Very disappointed that Firefox removed their old default inspector view.

I have been having issues with certain pages loading correctly but have not been able to resolve the issues. I also tried to create a screen shot to no avail apparently. It's is not with every website only some here and there. Sometimes if I navigate aware and come back to that page it can resolve the issues but more times than not it does not fix the problem. I can also use another web browser such as google chrome or firefox and not run into the same issue. The exact same page will load correctly and as expected. I appreciate your assistance in this matter and I have done some of the trouble shooting steps noted in the frequently asked questions and what you all have suggested to resolve the issue such as clearing the cache, etc but it does not seem to resolve the problem long term

I have FireFox 15 and use the Tools/Validate HTML. I need to configure it to show all the code and number the lines it validates.

When I do Edit Tools the line has options like:

         http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=

Where can I find a list of the options I can use in this great tool?

Noticed this when trying to move on your website, GMail etc so that I can move from field to field (example: To field in Gmail, hit tab button on keyboard to move to Subject field). Tab button non responsive. Safari and Chrome still have this ability. Obviously something has occurred as I upgraded today to 16.0 and yet I was fine in 15.x.

This key is important for speed for daily work. Please advise how I can re-activate it's functionality.

To easily increase page text size in the previous version of Firefox, I used to be able to press control + option + two finger swipe up or down (trackpad equivalent to scrolling up or down). This functionality seems to have been removed in FF 17.0.1. Can it please be re-added?

Firefox opens normally and runs properly -- until I close all its windows. When zero windows are present, and I return to Firefox and ask for a new window, Firefox hangs. To resolve the problem I must Force Quit the app, which generates a crash report to Apple. Occasionally Firefox has crashed on its own and generated a crash report to Mozilla, but this is rare. I have tried disabling all add-ons, but that had no effect.

As long as there is at least one Firefox window open, the app functions normally. This problem only occurs when going from zero windows to one window.

bold textI used Sync to migrate an extensive store of Firefox bookmarks from family PC to my new Mac. Worked perfectly; however, I notice that now it is still syncing, and I see my husband's search history each time I click '+' for a blank tab. I only wanted the bookmarks, etc. to sync ONCE to get them to the new machine. How do I STOP / SEVER the syncing of the two machines now? It seems to be doing it automatically without my clicking "Sync Now" (Tools>>Sync Now). We have our own machines now & I don't want his bookmarks or history on my Firefox. His machine: Windows7 Professional, Firefox 15.0.1 My machine: Mac OS X 10.8, Firefox 15.0.1

Today the 1 Password icon is missing from my menu bar. I went to the 1 Password help and tried to download the Firefox extension that would put the icon back in the menu bar. The extension would not download. The message explained that the extension was not compatible with the version of Firefox (14.0.1) that I have on my computer.

I fear some new emails may be going to spam, but I have no spam tab like my other gmail accounts. So how do I check the spam folder wherever it is. And how can I add a spam tab for this gmail account?

I just made a clean OSX 10.8 install and naturally installed my favorite browser FF 17.0.1 Was goint to a page to see a quicktime clip and bam no video. Page in question was: http://www.apple.com/iwork/tutorials/#pages-msoffice

I'm using the Quicktime X that comes with OSX 10.8 (updated actually to 10.8.2 now). I tested the same link in Safari and the video plays perfectly fine.

I have been googling allot and tested lots of tips like removing the pluginreg.dat and following many tips found on below links but i seriously cant make it work under FF.

Is this feature really broken? I see lots of people having this problem and no solution right now. Appreciate someone with some insight to dig into this problem and provide a solution or atleast confirm this is broken so we dont bang our head against the wall trying to figure it our :D

ps. Please make sure you are under the same condition as i explained, meaning using Quicktime X and nothing more (like older quicktime etc).

Remember passwords for sites is inactive as well as the "Stop Private Browsing"

I can change these settings as they are inactive.

Im running Firefox 17.0.1 on Mac OS-X 10.8.2

We have 2 RDP servers with Windows Server 2008R2, we recently upgraded firefox from version 9 to version 17.01 because of flash plugin crashes. After the upgrade firefox crashes very regular for every user.

After opening a site, we see it for a split second and then The following error we get: "Firefox has stopped working"

This is the case for most sites, some sites however do work, like www.google.nl Sites that don't work for example: www.youtube.com www.nu.nl www.unox.nl

I thought it would be flash again. When I open a new tab in Firebox, by clicking the "+" sign beside the existing tabs, the newly opened tab defaults to a page I don't want. How do I make it default to a page I select, such as Google?

i'm using the latest mac OS on a mac book pro and I installed FF19.0 now when I attempt to open a .jpg file from my group on yahoo it keeps asking me which program I want to use. I checked the block to always use Preview but no matter what I do it always ask again and brings up the block. Very annoying.
