Firefox 9 bookmark icons have disappeared. this appears to have happened after updating to version 9 of Firefox for Mac. I only have a few add-ons, that should not conflict with the display of the icons. Menu bar bookmark icons still display, just not in the Bookmarks drop down menu.

I am attempting to download "Firefox 3.5.10", each attempt the results state "The disk image failed to mount due to corrupt image". I really need this browser for my on-line learning. Please help! By the way 2.0 downloaded fine, but is not compatible with the University web site.

Running OS X Lion 10.7.1 Mac mini early 2009, 4GB RAM. No other problems except both Firefox and Chrome are incredibly slow opening web pages when compared to the same two browsers in Windows or to Safari in OS X.

This happens whether other applications are running or not. Internet speed has not changed (tested 6 Mbps), not using proxies, etc. Yes, I did test after Quitting all other apps. It makes no difference.

I have latest Firefox and now the latest OS X: Lion. But the pinch to zoom gesture (which works in Safari) will not work in Firefox web pages. I thought Firefox was upgraded to work with Lion. So why not the zoom or is there something I need to do to FF to get this feature to work?

My Mac OS X 10.3.9 with Firefox cannot handle Hotmail basic function sending emails. I can't upgrade the browser. I can receive email.

I have a Mac G5 system 10.3.9 too old to accept latest Firefox upgrade. Tried it and get 'corrupt file' message. What do I do? My hotmail account will not now work!

'Save Image As' keeps changing the location it's saving the file. As I'm going through various pages and saving certain images, I notice that sometimes it saves where I'm expecting it to, (the location I most recently selected while saving an image), but very often, in the same session (meaning I haven't closed and restarted FF), it decides to change the location to a directory I've used earlier, instead of where it just saved the previous file.

I thought it might be a scenario something like, I open tabs 1 - 5, save images to location A. Then I save a file to location B, open up pages 6 - 10, save a file to location A again. At this point I expect that my files will default to location A, but maybe pages 6 - 10 now have location B associated with them and they will default there instead. I just tested that and that's not it.

It's also not extension (ie .jpg, .gif) that forces the change of location. I can't figure out what triggers it.

Does anyone know if there is another about:config setting that we can change, (which the next FF upgrade in 5 minutes will undoubtedly override) to restore proper behavior?

This behavior started with the upgrade to FF 7.

I just wanted a possible update of firefox from 2.0.0.20 to higher on my Mac OSX 10.3.9. I can not go further on OSX as my hw is limited to that.

I get only a blank screen in Firefox when I click on a PDF web link. I have tried most solutions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-view-pdf-web.html Some of the suggested solutions I cannot try. For example, in Adobe Reader Preferences the "view in browser" check mark is greyed out, I cannot deselect it. If I disable the plug-in I can download the PDF when I click a link. after an upgrade to Firefox version 11.0, Beatport's player doesn't load at all. Even tabs of "genders" won't work. -My computer is a Mac Mini mid 2010 -OS Lion 10.7.3 -Proc: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo -Ram: 8 GB

If I open Safari, Beatport site's all right.

I tested Beatport on my second computer, which runs Linux Ubuntu and Firefox 11.0, and site player doesn't work, too.

I've already cleaned the cache and updated Flashplayer.

I have had Firefox 2.0 installed on my Mac Book 10.4 Tiger for a long time. Now I have to do an online course that requires Firefox 3.0 or newer. I cannot download 3.6 because it's not compatible. I get an error message. How do I find an older version than 3.6 to install?

I am using Firefox 8 in a Mac OSX Lion version. Just a few hours ago, I updated Adobe Flash and from that moment, youtube videos won't show up in FF. I get a black screen instead of the video. Doesn't happen in Safari though, where videos are shown perfectly. That's why I assumed it has something to do with FF. Anybody else? Any help? Thanks in advance!

Not being paranoid, but how do I get google from ceasing to use the Firefox Geolocation Feature?? All it does is add time to loading web sites, not to mention I don't particularly like anybody tracking my visitation. (ironic I use gmail, isn't it?)

I am unable to get the print select to work on Firefox 11.o. I am able to click on print select but nothing prints. Aside from uninstalling 11.0 to an older version, are there any fixes? I use a mac os x version 10.7.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently updated to Firefox 12.0 and wanted to take advantage of Norton offering for free their Identity Safe app. I am running Mac OSX 10.7.3 and when it took me to the mac app store, it uploaded the extension in my Firefox ribbon on the top, but when I click on it, it opens in Safari. Is it not compatible yet with Firefox?
