why can't I install foxfire on my ipad? It's awful.

Sync to iPhone Firefox Home, from Firefox, not working. Nothing happens. PowerBook G4 OS10.5.8. Firefox 3.6.6 iPhone 3G 4.0.1 Firefox Home, last. Have tried to disable all other add-ons. Have tried to use Refresh in the iPhone. Have tried the Sync Now. Have tried the Reset Sync, the bottom option. But no syncing of bookmarks or tabs. Do you have any ideas on what to do?

Irritating box shows whenever I go to a web site. I have re-set IE, re-installed Firefox, got rid of Google Tool bar, checked extensions and got rid of some, everything I can think of. Read article on problem, followed instructions, etc etc, all to no avail. What is Windows doing looking for site anyway, since Firefox finds it just fine?
When I log in, I get the message "Data on the server is in a new and unrecognized format. Please update Firefox Home." But I have the latest version. What can I do?
It worked just fine a while back, but now is broken. I reset everything on my desktop to see if it was a database issue, but the desktop syncs just fine.

I have a PC running Firefix and Firefox Sync okay. I have an ipad 2 with Firefox Home installed and connected okay to my FF sync account.
I was expecting FF Home to sync the bookmarks on ipad Safari with those on the desktop. Apparently not so.
I can see the desktop bookmarks within the FF Home app on the ipad.
How do I... - Properly sync bookmarks between the two systems (FF on desktop and Safari on iPad?) - Failing that, how do I sync the bookmarks on the iPad with Firefox? Currently it seems to be a one-way transfer (i.e. I can only access the bookmarks on the desktop PC from the iPad)
