I installed 18.0 today. I have it set up to open FF search page (about:home) when I open a new tab. This search page no longer functions; I can input search terms, but neither the search button nor enter does anything. It just sits there.

I tried the steps outlined here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934580?esab=a&as=aaq It didn't help. I also tried addons disabled. No go.

I have been using my tf300. Everytime I try to open Firefox on the tablet while using a Bluetooth connection, the only screen that Firefox opens is a generic screen displaying "Offline mode". Is there a way to switch it to online mode or am I only able to use the browser on a wifi signal??

I can only see the contents of my bookmarks toolbar via History ⟶ Show All History. And I can't customize the toolbars because I can't bring up the dialogue box.

I'm also having trouble with the sidebar:

Two things I can't get to show in the sidebar are Bookmarks and History (View ⟶ Sidebar ⟶ Bookmarks and View ⟶ Sidebar ⟶ History). The shortcuts don't work either.

Two things I can get to show in the sidebar ScrapBook and Pocket, however, I can't close the sidebar via the top right cross, but have to go via the menu: View ⟶ Sidebar ⟶ Pocket / ScrapBook.

Firefox 21.0 beta channel Mac OS X Version 10.7.5

I installed Firefox 19 from a prior version of Firefox. It now will not play any on line video - youtube or other streaming videos. I can play them all on MS Internet Explorer and in Google Chrome. The add-ons are up to date in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox 19 - same problem, no video. I installed latest version of Adobe and Flash Player. Windows 7 is up to date. Ran virus scan, no problem.

10 days ago gmail started locking me out of my account with this message. It's always the same sequence: I open gmail, do a few light tasks (e.g., sending a message without attachments, reviewing my sent messages, etc) and in the middle of an operation (sending or saving a message or ewhatever, doesn't matter), gmail freezes, I click on the x to leave the page and exit. When I try to re-enter I get the above message "Unusal Usage -- Account Temporarily Locked Down". Gmail won't let me in. 20 to 30 mins. later I can re-enter, and the cycle described above is repeated.

I already search and applied several suggestions found in Internet, but until now, no one solve the problem. Firefox is using much memory (600.000) and much CPU (100%) and work very slow to load new pages or update the pages loaded. I am using APP "Memory Fox" but is the same.

I keep receiving the message:

Warning: Unresponsive plugin Shockwave Flash may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the plugin now, or continue to see if the plugin will complete.

I cannot seem to get rid of it or correct it. Help. Thank you.

When trying to reach some video content, it says that the WMP plugin is out of date, but when trying to update it, it says that cannot do it automatically, and when clicking in the "Mnual"option, it sends me to the following link:

I download and install the available plugin, but no improvement is obtained.

The user on whose machine this problem exist does not have administrator rights. Firefox version 5 detected an upgrade (to version 17) so she allowed it to continue. It didn't work, but since then Firefox has not worked at all. It displays an error message" Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox. Do you want to restart now. " I was able to remove version 17 using Windows Add/Remove programs, but Add/remove programs show an installer, icon, not a normal Program icon. The machine is a HP8000 running Windows XP SP3

I think I used the "inspect element" (right mouse button) and a panel appeared on the bottom of my screen. I can't get it to go away. I now have two of them. They just give information about an image I was interested in .

Hi. I find a strange behaviour of Firefox v21. If in *.htm file used "windows" path slashes to java scripts (on Unix hosting with apache). Firefox says 404 but other browsers (like Opera, Chrome, IE10) correctly works with this.

I have abrand new ASUS notebook with a 11 and a half inch screen. I have up to date Windows system, and am using the latest version of firefox. I have gone through all the tips in the help section of firefox including clearing cache and cookies, and also checking all settings for text, however none of this has corrected the problem. For example when i log into my online banking the text is that big it doesnt fit into the boxes set on natwest screen, so therefore i can view all of the text and it gets jumbled together in some places. With ELC a good example is the menu across the top of the page which gives all of the categories of products they sell for you to click on. As the writing is too large it does not display properly. Im not sure what else to do to crrect this. Can anyone help?

Have never had this problem until a few days ago. Using Windows 7. I like to use sleep mode whenever I leave my desk (whether for a few minutes or several hours). Always has come back just as I left it (tabs, work in progress, etc.) until recently. If I restart, everything's fine, until I use sleep mode again. So vexing.

Last night I got a strange error while using Firefox it shut it down and said it needed to back up and restart. It said that it saved my profile and shut down. Then it was impossible to restart so I restarted my computer and from then on I got the above pop-up box whenever I try to restart Firefox with the following text in it "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." With an Okay button. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and it does no good.

I have recently installed FireFox for the 1st time - v21. A web page I use frequently does not completely load - the static information is displayed, but the weather data is missing. Firefox is my default browser. It used to work in two steps. Clicking the words or the small triangle at the end sent me to a preview box where I could choose OPEN IN FIREFOX. Now only the small triangle works, I get the same preview box but if I click Open in Firefox nothing happens and I am back to where I was. I checked the Firefox window but no new tab has appeared anywhere. My preference would be to skip the Preview dialog and open directly in Firefox at the first click even if the problem of the inoperative second click could be fixed. Thanks for your help

Newest version of firefox, and flash. Tried clearing cache. Been having this problem for a year or more.

No mater what I do, if I open a youtube video in firefox, my pc crashes. Black screen and I have to hit the manual reset button. No error report to send, no idea why this happens. It does not do it when using chrome.

Really irritating and going to cause me to give up on using firefox if I cannot find a solution soon.

I made Bing my browser and it was working fine until today. When I open Firefox I get a message Ref A: and then a long string of characters. I click on the home icon and the string changes. After doing this several times I get the Bing search page. I do not get the Firefox start page with the tool bar that has my book marks, history etc. I cannot clear the cache if I cannot not get the history tab. If I go the the mozilla firefox program folder and open it, there is a tool bar but cannot clear recent history, etc. there. I do not have an administrator & password on my home desk top; it is just me. I tried to follow your suggestions, but they do not apply to my situation. I really don't know if this is a firefox or bing problem. I used google before bing and had no problems; just wanted to try bing.
