I'm trying to set up an App Tab in Firefox 4 Beta (9) to call up Thunderbird. But when I put the location of the exe file in the address window, Firefox sends me to the download manager, and won't open the file otherwise. I'm assuming you can't open an exe file in Firefox, but is there another way to get a tab that will open Thunderbird so I don 't have to do it separately? Thanks
In bookmarks on toolbar I can find no way to organize my entries.
Worked fine with firefox3.###. I am trying firefox4 beta 9.

Hi,
I made a shortcut to enable me choose an FF profile each time I want to use FF. Here's the code: "E:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager -no-remote
I also set FF as the default browser.
My problem occurs when I'm clicking a link form Mozilla Thunderbird while opening an instance of FF and then the FF profile manager shows up. I was asked to choose a profile to open the link with.
I prefer when I'm opening an FF instance, links from my Thunderbird will open directly in the current FF instance I'm opening instead of asking me again which profile I want to use.
Any suggestions of how I can do that?
Thank you..

How can I force Firefox 4 bookmarks to open in current tab?
Hello, when I click a bookmark in the bookmarks toolbar of Firefox 4 beta, I would like to open it in the current tab (not in a new one). Thans :)

When I updated to Firefox 5, I got a message that the Google toolbar was disabled as it wasn't compatible. I assume the same is true for version 6. After trying to use the browser without the toolbar for a few days I gave up and reinstalled version 4. Now I'm constantly getting pop-ups asked me to upgrade and I can't even submit feedback because you won't accept it until I upgrade. And version 4, which I never had a problem with before, is now very unstable and I have to shut it down at regular intervals to unfreeze it.
Do I need to switch to a different browser in order to use the Google toolbar?

I have tabs open in the "usual" browsing mode. I go into the private browsing mode, browse in the mode and then go back to the usual mode. All transitions are via the menu. When back into the usual mode, all I see are the app tabs. All other tabs are not seen but are there grouped separately, seen only when I go into panorama. I see the grouped tabs in the upper left corner.
The problem is reproducible.
