Here is a screen shot of what it looks like. This is for 4.0b12 and has been great until the most recent update. Even in safe mode it's the same thing. Beta 11 (x86) works fine though.

If I have multiple tabs opened , it doesnt warm me when I try to close firefox. I even have selected the option to warm me. It only warm me when I have two seperate firefox windows opened .... I found it weird !!

After further research, I feel this should be categorized as a plugin issue...

Firebug 1.7X A10 causes two Title bars (the standard windows bar, and a second just inside with the new orange Firefox tab...both with minimize/maximize/close buttons), plus other odd behavior listed below:

Any saved tabs from before the install/enable are gone. Choosing Addons from the menu does nothing. After opening a new empty tab the Addons manager does load. Choosing Feedback->Makes me xxxx, does nothing. Hitting reload button does nothing URL bar (page address) stays the same between tabs (though the loaded page changes) Firebug addon works fine.

After getting to the Addon Manager (this took a bit of work to do), and disabling Firebug, all problems disappeared. My previous tab history also returned.

This seems to be unique to WinXP. I have installed this Firebug version with Win7 successfully.

I have the citrix plugin installed on my machine and it works and launches fine in firefox 3.16. Can I find support for it now or will I have to wait until the final release of Firefox 4?

When I hover over a link with a URL that is longer than what fits within the length of the status bar in Firefox 4 Beta 12, the whole page jumps back and forth until I stop hovering over the link. It was so annoying (particularly on Google search results pages with a lot of links, etc.) I actually uninstalled Firefox 4 Beta 12 and went back to the Beta 11 release.

Is there anything in about:config that would disable the status bar that the link URLs preview in, at the least?

I have tried running FF4 beta since beta 8, but everytime I tried to start FF4, it just gave me Win7-themed window outlines, filled with a black square. I've now finally managed to get FF4b11 to start by using safe-mode. I tried disabling all add-ons and running without safe-mode, but I got the same result. The problem is therefor not an add-on, but must be something else. I’m running this on Win7-64bit laptop.

I have posted this question previously, without any response. Is there any way besides Test-Pilot (which doesn't run in safe-mode for obvious reasons) to report this to the devs?

When I press the firefox hotkey on my keyboard it does not launch. it just displays the firefox file with all its extrentions.

I could show you but this does not allow me to send a screen grab either

i want to have my bookmarks on the left hand pane of the desktop by default when i log into firefox, as before. the solution suggested in firefox help page "What happened to the Bookmarks Toolbar?", i.e. check 'bookmarks toolbar' on the view-toolbars dropdown menu, does not work.

can you suggest another solution?

i'm running firefox 4.0b11 on a macbookpro with os10.6.6

About 2 days ago the address bar started acting up. If i'm already visiting a website, and want to type in a new address, the current URL doesn't disappear from the bar, so i have to type over it, which in turn makes it completely jumbled and unreadable.

So basically it doesn't erase the current URL from the address bar when attempting to type a new one, and instead it overlaps it, making the letters blurry and distorted.

After downloading and installing beta 4 i get double icons on top. I removed them by customizing but now when I open new tabs I dont have any way to close them as in no little x.
