I have disabled all extentions, add-ons, started up in Safe Mode or tried any other suggestions placed on the forum, but still, tabs are not saved.

I don't find a "enable" or "disable Save Tabs" in the preferences

As suggested, in the profile folder I have renamed the formhistory.sqlite to formhistory.sqlite.bak and sessionstore.js to sessionstore.js.bak

No saving of Tabs. Any suggestion? Tkx Yve

The reload circle goes and stops and goes and stops when I open email on Hotmail site. Photos in emails flash (appear-disappear-reload, etc., endlessly). All worked perfectly this morning, and then this afternoon new version installed, and now it's so messed up as to be unusable on that site. No problem in IE8. Disabled ABP, and it's not causing the problem (although I did send them a report).

Is there a fix for this?

Since updating from FF4b9 to beta10, FF does not ask anymore whether to save open tabs on exit. It simply closes at once and does not restore my tabs at the next start. Is there a change of behavior or some setting, which changed its default or is this simply a bug in beta10? All FF4 versions up to Beta9 worked fine.

It's great that the menu can now be displayed in the tab bar with tabs-on-top, but it would be even better if the titlebar itself could be hidden! I believe this is already the case on FF4/Windows 7. Maybe I have just not discovered how to turn on this feature?

Per the subject line. Before my last system reboot, Panorama was fine. Now the feature is gone -- along with all the open tabs represented by the other Panorama groups I had!

I only just noticed the change, but perhaps it happened earlier, after reboot, when Firefox updated itself. But I could be wrong about the precise timing and, in fact, I think I HAVE used it since the last reboot.

Honestly can't think of anything I've done to cause it to go. Exiting and restating FF doesn't restore it. Good feature, miss it badly. And the open tabs that were lost!

Firefox used to 'guess' which website i was looking for when i typed a few keywords into the location bar. EG; when i typed 'bbc sport' firefox would take me straight to www.bbc.co.uk/sport Now however, it takes me straight to bing.com with the search results for my keywords. Ive been to about:config and checked that the 'guess' lookup feature is set as true. Help please!

if there are multiple tabs open, and i close FF, it does not warn me. The settings are ok, and i have checked the "warn me when closing multiple tabs"

i have tried the Safe Mode, and that is the same.

however, if i open a second window,when exiting that second window,it asks , but the main window does not...

so weired.

When I open a tab, I cannot see the URL of the opened page in it. If I enter a new address and press enter, I go to the page. The URL displays the entered URL, but doesn't change for the new pages that load.

Also, the back/forward buttons do not work. I'm guessing it's related to the address bar issue.

I want to stop it going to OpenDNS when I type a word in the url area. I want it to go to Google.

I have changed the keyword.URL to http://www.google.com.my/search?q=

But this only works for terms with a space in it. For example: Typing: "word1 word2" will go to Google Typing: "word" Goes to OpenDNS

Furthermore... If I type in "eBay" it will take me to eBay.com (as I would expect) but if I type in another site like "tip20" it goes to OpenDNS.

How do I fix this once and for all.

So after I leave this page Firefox will not know that I've ever been to support.mozilla.com, nor does it know that I've ever been on Facebook, nor will it remember any long URLs that I count on it for. My history is gone and it won't keep track of my new history either. I'm not using Private Browsing. Also, Internet Explorer does not have the problem though I never really use Internet Explorer. (Both Firefox browsers have the problem.)

I'm used to being able to backup multiple pages at once instead of one at a time. What's happened to that little button? Also you could tell if there were other pages because the backup and forward buttons would be green. That's not there either

Firefox 3 was great and I liked the new features of firefox 4 but the default theme is bad or not good for my PC it is Windows 7 Prof. I added new themes and changed the graphic card setting nothing fixed it and when I tried the safe mode it worked like charm it is really pleasant so I would like to know how to make the change permanent.

Firefox 4 betas 8-10 seem to have problem with linking shaders in WebGL.

Every WebGL example I've tried didn't execute, so I copied some basic WebGL code to try it myself.

For gl as WebGL context of canvas element, this fragment of code executes without reporting any problem:

shaderProgram = gl.createProgram();
gl.attachShader(shaderProgram, vertexShader);
gl.attachShader(shaderProgram, fragmentShader);
gl.linkProgram(shaderProgram);

But after that, method getProgramParameter returns false for LINK_STATUS parameter.

gl.getProgramParameter(shaderProgram, gl.LINK_STATUS)

(For gl.getProgramParameter(shaderProgram, gl.ATTACHED_SHADERS) I got value 2 so attaching seem to be ok?)

Also, if I try to call useProgram method

gl.useProgram(shaderProgram);

I get this error: Warning: WebGL: UseProgram: program was not linked successfully

I also get few other errors, but I believe they occur because of the above.

I have NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT (drivers are up-to-date) running under Windows 7 32bit.

I've expirienced this problem with FF 4 betas 8, 9 and 10. Firefox 4 beta 7 worked fine.

So right off the bat, my webpages are extending up too high all the way to the top covering all 3 tool bars. I can disable and enable the different tool bars through the options menu and I can see it flicker/half appear. Don't know what the problem is, maybe it is a screen resolution thing.. but I can't navigate anywhere as all the functions are blocked by my current webpage, as if a painting's size was too tall for the frame so it covers the top portion of the frame.

Hi everybody,

I've recently updated to the most current Firefox 4b10. I'm currently using the addon bar on the bottom that holds several addon-related icons (like firebug etc.). Those do still work, but for some reason they have moved from the right-hand corner of the addon-bar (where they have always been) to the left side for no apparent reason. I know it's kind of a little issue, but it is really disturbing since I keep looking in the wrong corner after having the icons there for so many years. Is there any way I can revert that?
