I have just updated to the latest Firefox and now java is being prevented from loading Pogo games which require it. I have unchecked the block popups box and enabled java script but each time I try to load I get a message on the java concol saying permission denied. I went to IE8 (yuck) and the game loaded fine. Help please.

I just got the latest update for Firefox to 3.6.14. I have always been able to use Firefox to play games on Pogo.com. After the update today I can get into the site but 90% of the games won't upload. Pogo says in their help pages: Mozilla has a documented bug filed for Java support in Firefox 3.6.14. Since many Pogo games run on Java technology, this is obviously impacting those Pogo customers who are attempting to play their games with the latest version of the browser. Is this being addressed and if so what time frame are we looking at? Pogo suggest other browsers but I prefer mozilla above the others. Tbank you, Susan

Hi. I recently upgraded my Firefox on my Mac and I can no longer add or forward attachments on my hotmail email account. When I compose a new email or hit reply, the Attachment button/bar is visible but it does not respond when the mouse rolls over it. When I try to forward an email with an attachment, the forwarding email appears but the attachment is not present. I can, however, open attachments that are sent to me.

I was able to attach emails before without trouble, but have not been able to do so since upgrading my Firefox browser. I followed some older instructions which said to clear recent cookies and cache, but that didn't solve the problem.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have tried several times to copy pictures from web sites. When I right click on the photo I then click on "copy image". When I right click in my pictures the "Paste" button does not light up so I cannot copy the image(s).

I have just downloaded fire fox yesterday. Is there something I need to download or add-on to be able to copy pics etc. I never had this problem with Internet Explorer.

When I am on some sites Firefox gives me the message Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page? and then I have to click Allow. This happens on every single page on certain sites. How can I make this stop all together?

Example 1 - Yahoo email 'inbox' page. The font size of the list of emails in my yahoo email 'inbox', is about 8 (that is very small). In fact it is everything in the 'inbox' window except the adverts. The font size used to be 12 which is bigger and more easily readable.

Example 2 - 'My ebay' summary page. To read the list of 'activities' to choose from on the left of the 'summary page' I have to scroll down for ages until the second activity appears and then scroll down for ages again to get to the third activity and so on. It's as though the summary page was 20 meters long. All the activities used to be on the left when I opened the summary page.

It is as though some setting has changed with out me knowing. I don't know if this is relevant but I think it might have happened after I accepted a Java update.

For the last few mths, my desktop P, when i use Firefox, i can no longer view the tabs just above the browser back arrow. I don't even know which version of Firefox i'm using as the help/about tab is missing also.

I use slow dial-up and can't keep any flash players on my computer. Every time I click on anything, even in my Yahoo! Mail homepage, this alert appears: Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page. To the right is a link to Install Missing Plugins. I click the x to close it, and, when I click on something else, it appears again. It's very frustrating -- is there some way that I can disable this alert. I run Windows XP. If I have any of the plug-ins listed in the Installed plugins window below, I'm unaware of it, other than Adobe Acrobat 5.

I am trying to accomplish the instructions below, but I cannot see the web features button in step 4.

If you're running Mozilla Firefox and with to adjust or change how Firefox handles pop-up follow the below steps. 1. Open Mozilla Firefox 2. Click Tools 3. Click Options 4. Click the Web features button on the left hand side of the Options window. 5. By default this feature should be enabled if you wish to disable the feature, uncheck "Block Popup Windows." If you have allowed popups on a site you wish to now block you can also click "Allowed sites" in this window and remove any sites you wish to block any popup on.

I recently started to use Firefox as my browser instead of IE6 and I also installed the eBay toolbar as well as the Google full length one, I now want to remove the Google sidebar that came along with Firefox but cant find a way to do this and so would appreciate advice on how to achieve this.

I would like the transre my bookmarks from one laptop to another vie a flash drive. Can I do this with Firefox? If so where are the firefox system files where bookmarks are kept? Thank You

My OS is Windows XP version service pack 3. I even tried to install FF4 but it never get installed. As I mentioned my FF keeps trying to update itself but it gives the error message I provided in title. Now I don't have access to my FF browser and my life is stopped because I have all my passwords saved on FF. I restarted my notebook but it stills try to update itself giving the same error message. I can not also upgrade my Adobe reader 7.0.7 to 10 I have tried more than 10 times but it never gets upgraded. I had this Adobe problem since long time ago.

Since i upgrade a few days ago to 3.6 i realized that I can hardly see my statusbar on FF. There is no way in options where i can change that. Can you please advise asap. Thanks

IM using firefox 3.6.14 on ubuntu 10.10 and some jpg files appear inverted.This is a firefox specific problem as I have tried other web browsers work with the same jpg's. One example below.

When I search something Firefox automatically opens a new tab with the results of this search. How do I change the settings to where the results will appear in the same tab as where I conducted the search?
