I have had mozilla on my desktop for 2 months. Last week I lost the arrows to go back, file,edit,viewhistory,bookmarks,tools,help on the open page. I tried the f11 button. I can't navigate without the address bar. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I make Bing my default search engine? E.G., the FF home page has 'Google' above the space in which I can type my search query which of course takes me to 'Google'. How to change this to 'Bing'? That is my question.

I need to know how to set the zoom option under "View" Tab, shere I dont have to re zoom each time I open Firefox. I have a wide screen monitor and generally, when viewing webpages, the web content on any page is confined to center of the page, and I was wondering if there was anyway to permanently set the zoom preferences without having to change them each time i open a webpage.

IE 8 and 9 has a feature to set the magnification and i set mine to 150% which works perfectly for me. I wonder if Firefox has a similar feature.

IE allows me to bookmark my favorites and keep them listed in a vertical column on the left side of the screen--which I keep open at all times. Is that function possible in Firefox?

I have tried looking through all the setting that it gave me and i can not find when it wont let me open a new tab. All the settings i have are the default settings and before it happened i hadn't even been into the setting so its not like i was messing with them and then it messed up it just happened one time. I do not have any viruses or anything because i use 3 different virus scans and they say my computer its clean. Also my virus scanning programs are up to date i updated them today.

I have a long list of Favorites on my Internet Explorer screen. How do I transfer that list intact to my Foxfire screen? I'm not sure what toolbar my Favorites are in, because it's not labeled anything besides Favorites. Could be Windows, Internet Explorer, Yahoo??? Someone suggested I right click on it , but I don't know what option to click on next.

My hotmail account is suddenly not working. I can login and see mail received and continue to receive new mail but cannot open it /read it /reply to it /send new mail / etc.

I've tried accessing hotmail (on this same computer) using Internet Explorer because of some advice I read on MSN's support forum for hotmail issues. It works right on IE so they (MSN) say that I should optimize my brower or contact the support team for my brower.

I am clueless as to how to optimize. I've checked and no updates are found so I'm updated already.

KeyScrambler from QFX Software is an app/extension that aims to defeat keylogger spyware by feeding gibberish to the keylogger. I installed the free version, 3 or four mos. ago on my XP Pro x86 SP3 system, found it in Get Add-ons I think; it works to encrypt keyboard output at low level, then decrypt when strokes reach the app (i.e., Firefox or M$ IE 8.0 browsers). Is not found in Add-ons Search now. Does this absence indicate Mozilla found a problem with later update version?

QFX Software the vendor. ($$cost "Pro" version works for docs in Word, etc. I'm on layoff over a year and need cheap.) Updated v2.6 seems to be working well - but new update available and is not found in Add-ons searches recent weeks. Does this make KeyScrambler a bad ext? Or, am I mistaken about Add-ons having it in past?

When the game begins to load the outline or frame suddenly becomes smaller and when the scrabble game is added the lower portion of the game does not show. You can only see the top part of the scrabble tiles and cannot see any of the items that go below the rack of letters such as the Play button and other essential parts of the game. This happens every time I try to play, resulting in switching browsers and starting another game.

I have played many scrabble games on this site using Firefox prior to this. My computer screen is 15.6" and more than sufficient. I can use Chrome and Internet Explorer with no problem.

1-1-2011 Since posting, I have found that Chrome is now shrinking the size of the pop up window as well, right before my eyes as does Firefox. Yet I can play on IE8 because the pop up remains large.

The bottom line is: I am using Adblock plus with Firefox and Chrome. Obviously pogo.com makes no money if you can block their ads and are now preventing you from playing if you block them.

1-2-2011 I was wrong. I disabled Adblock Plus for the pogo scrabble site and although the pop up window for the game did not change its size before adding the game and remained large, the lower part of the game still was cut off. The game is still unplayable using Firefox but works well in Internet Explorer.

Pogo uses Java script and not Adobe Flash so there may be an add-on update available.

Under Firefox Tools > Options > Content Enable Java Script (already checked) > advanced Unchecked "Move or resize existing windows" and "Raise or lower windows"

When trying again to play scrabble on the pogo site the window was back to its normal size, but the game was still cut off at the bottom with space below.

Although I had tried many times before, this time, by clicking on a blank space to the left of the board, I was able to use my Control and Plus keys to enlarge and fill the window!

To prevent this from happening again, I knew I needed to correct the problem I had from the beginning with my Windows 7 laptop, which was constant resizing of text, etc. every time my fingers would touch the touch-pad in a certain way. A google-search resulted in the solution: unchecking "enable pinch zoom".

Okay so the problem is not being able to open new tabs i cant open new tabs by using the file drop down and selecting it, i cant use control t, i cant use the plus button at the end of the tab, and i cant get the right click then select new tab to work. however i can get new tabs by going to a link on a page right clicking and selecting open link in a new tab

Ctrl-Enter has always been a standard feature in the navigation bar (URL / address bar). For example you type only "getfirefox" in the bar then press Ctrl-Enter and it autofills the http://www and the .com and submits the request, so you are taken to http://www.getfirefox.com without having to type anything other than "getfirefox" and Ctrl-Enter.

This stopped working when I updated to 3.6.13. Also I cannot type a full URL and simply press Enter to submit it. The only way I can cause the browser to go to the URL I entered is to manually put the mouse cursor on the "right arrow" icon at the right end of the URL window and click that icon.

As you can imagine, this is really annoying. I disabled all of my addons (I suspected Firebug or Web Developer of causing the problem) and the problem still persisted anyway. I reinstalled Firefox 3.6.13 and the problem is still the same. I wonder if it has anything to do with Firefox 4 beta being installed on my system. But I don't try to use them at the same time.

Under Tools > Options > Tabs, "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" is selected. Also, in about:config, browser.tabs.warnOnClose is set to "true". I always have multiple tabs open. However, sometimes my hand slips or the mouse falls off the table and Firefox closes without any warning.

I cannot print emails anymore and I have to print other things from web searches with no results. Paper just feeds straight through the printer and print previews are blank. I can print pdfs etc from my documents and did print from internet explorer last night.

Firefox crashes unexpectedly when loading some pages. It does not crash on specific pages. It will crash unexpectedly on any website.

I have settings set to send reports to Firefox, but I have never received a response or fix. 

I tried fixing the problem using the knowledge base. It did not fix the problem.

A much-used feature has disappeared. By clicking a link with the center wheel of the mouse, it would open that link in a new tab. Now it doesn't work any more. Please, how can it be restored?
