I have a laptop that I upgraded: ubuntu8.10 -> ubuntu9.0.4 java stopped working in yahoo bridge. (firefox = 3.0.19) I followed Sun's instructions putting the link to the correct .so file to java6u20 plugin but that did not help. I tried clearing cache. still nothing. I have another PC with firefox3.0.19 and there is no java plugin but there are two flash plugins (1 free, the other non-free) it is at ubuntu8.10 and java is working just fine in that firefox. I have followed all of firefox's steps for enabling java in the preferences dropdown. I can provide more details if you need them.

I said "yes" and a msg popped up "The operation cannot be completed becuse you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items."

I don't want everything added or saved in the location bar. Only urls that I used a lot used to be saved there but now every single url (and url within a url)I visit is being added to it.
How can I stop this? This just started happening.
I'm sure it's a simple browser setting but I've checked and nothing gives an option to control this.

When I go to maximize the document, it "disappears" immediately to the left going off the screen. I am having the same problems with emails when I try to forward or create new emails. They will not hold long enough for me to write on them - they disappear off the screen.
