PLEASE, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY GMAIL DOESN`T OPEN IN FIREFOX 15. IT DOES NOT COMPLETE THE LOAD OF THE PAGE.

WE HAVE 600 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE! SOLVE IT PLEASE MOZILLA!

I have removed it from the control panel/programs/uninstall. It does not appear on Firefox-tools/add-ons/extensions or plugins. Yet anytime I click on 'new-tab' it is the default search engine. I also removed a cookie named babylon. Still apears.

When trying to print in Firefox, and when scaling the page size in page setup, the first page prints correctly, but subsequent pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with parts of the text are being cut off at the top and right. This is not fixed by checking or un-checking the "ignore scaling/shrink to fit page width" in the print window, or by changing the scaling%.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

The same problem happens in the print preview and if I save the print as a .pdf

I have tried all the fixes in the how to's and others in various forums with no improvement.

This happens every time I try to print a document scaled up or down only in Firefox.

I have used Firefox for years and I never knowingly download unknown software. Recently I have been getting this Snap.Do search screen instead of my usual browser. Does anyone know from whence it came, is it dangerous, how do I get rid of it?

After updating to 15.0.1 this afternoon on a Win 7 64-bit machine, I restarted Firefox. Immediately Comod started showing warnings that firefox.exe was not a recognized program and was asking to access plug-in container, SVC host, and other things. Weird. So I look in Comodo and Explorer and it says the process is running from this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\updated\firefox.exe

Except there is no Updated folder. This happens even when clicking the firefox.exe file in the Mozilla Firefox folder.

Is this normal?? It seems not correct.

Since I have Windows 8 the tab bar is twice as big. I have 32 bit Windows 8 and an Nvidia Graphics card (NVS 140m) I didn´t have this problem under Windows 7. I tried ff 15 and 17.

These problems only occur when I access Facebook in Firefox. The same problems don't occur in Chrome.

I can view my Facebook message inbox, but when I try to open a message/message thread, it doesn't load. I just see the loading icon.

Similarly, if I try to use the icons in the top menu bar (notification icons on the left, arrow on the right), I don't get a drop-down if I click on them. If I click the notification icons on the top left, I should get a drop-down showing the recent activity, but instead it just switches to the icon showing that I don't have any new activity. If I click the arrow on the right, I should get a drop-down with account options, but instead it just takes me straight to the "General Account Settings" page.

It was wroking perfeclty fine for months then a pop up window came up saying firefox needed update. Didn't care, was in a hurry. Closed it. And...the crashing begins.

No toolbar, only adblcok plus. I've already updated, reinstalled everything to do with Firefox and deleted Firefox and the folder it was in entirely and reinstalled it. STILL...crashes..

When it crashes the crash report comes up but there's no error!

If you can find a solution I'd be amazed.

I to not have a smart phone. Would Firefox for Mobile work with the iPad 2 WiFi and/or an iPod Touch (fourth generation)? My home computer is a PC with Windows XP Professional, and I have a router for wireless connection to my iPad 2. I am waiting to buy the iPod Touch with new iOS 6 ("coming soon," according to Apple). Thank you.

I followed most of the suggestions and removed blekko (got it from AdAware, I think) from most of FF. It still shows up as the default search for a new tab. How do I get rid of this last bit of it?

YouTube, Google translate, and Gmail suddenly causing my Firefox to freeze-up when I open them up. Have to close it via task manager. Opening FF in safemode doesn't help. Taskmanager doesn't have it using any CPU while frozen.

i updated to firefox from 15.0 to 15.0.1 using the 'About Firefox' dialogbox. under 'Uninstall or change a program' in windows 7 x64 i now have both firefox versions 15.0 and 15.0.1 listed as being installed.

also i had previously disabled the 'Use a background service to install updates' option and uninstalled 'Mozilla Maintenance Service'. now the use background service option has been re-enabled and the 'Mozilla Maintenance Service' was reinstalled. i really like how mozilla has zero respect for the fact that i dont want some useless service installed on my computer just so i dont have to click a UAC prompt once a month.

i am probably just going to uninstall both firefox's and the maintenance server then reinstall firefox. are both versions supposed to be listed there or is this a bug? and why was the background service reinstalled and the option enabled when i specifically uninstalled and disabled it previously?

edit: i just checked my other computers. 1 has windows 7 x64 with the maintenance service installed and the other has xp with the maintenance server uninstalled/disabled. both computers only list 15.0.1 as being installed and the maintenance service wasnt reinstalled on my xp computer.

Have Mozilla as my home page.. tower.. xp and this continues to interrupt Everything.. re-downloaded Firefox, but this Claro continues to reappear.. Other than annoying, I believe it to be intrusive and maybe a threat.. Do you have any suggestions about how to remove it..? I've exhausted all internet 'solutions', none of which work.. When I open the home page.. Mozilla.. I get this Claro Search.. I don't want Claro involved, I trust Mozilla. Many thanks Neal

I upgraded to 15.0.1 and every time I try and open Firefox is crashes and sends a crash report. I tried reloading several times. I have Windows Vista. I also cannot find a way to reload an earlier version. Help please.

There are so many useless replies in other postings that didn't work that I decided to write the manual method for removal. Wading thru a confusing pile of posts is absurd. I hope this posts makes it easier for people trying to remove it.

First, the removal tool at AVG Secure Search doesn't work. It is bs. They even say it may take multiple reboots before it is removed. That is absurd.

Here is manual removal method.

0) Take note of the exact day and time AVG was installed. Write it down.

1) Stop ?ToolBarUpdate process

2) Delete AVG Secure Search directory in

  Program Files (86x)
  Program Files (86x)\Common
  ProgramData
  ProgramData\Common

3) Do a find in regedit. Delete any major entry containing "AVG Secure Search".

4) Search your local drive for any remaining file created around time that AVG program was installed. Look at properties attributes for the file. See if it is created by AVG. Delete it if so.

  There may be an avg@toolbar directory left also.

5) You may as well remove anything in Firefox as well. Check the directories again 24 hours later to make sure the AVG Secure Search doesn't exist or didn't reinstall

Hi, i recently installed firefox cause chrome wasnt cutting it for me. I tried to watch a video on youtube, the page would load n all but then when the big play button comes up in the middle of the video, that white noise blurry picture comes up and it says " an error occured, please try again later". and i have been trying again for hours -.-. Anyone help please!

Firefox has become very slow. It takes long time to load any website.I have reinstalled FF but the problem remain. As a test I downloaded Chrome and it is much faster. But I like FF and would be very glad if you can help me fix this problem.
